Chapter 2: Qiwu’la Empire

This dynasty was the overlord of the eastern peninsula of the Sun-Returning Continent.

In ancient times it was powerful, its territory spanning regions that today belong to Jieshi City, the Northern Mong Empire, Eastern Selas and other lands.

Later, internal chaos led to conflicts among many nations with similar strength.

Most fell, leaving two — the Miaosi Empire and the Later Ben Dynasty.

When the Later Ben Dynasty collapsed, the two split into the Taiben Kingdom and the Nanben Kingdom.

The Miaosi Empire welcomed Qiwu’la as emperor, renamed the nation Qiwu’la, and became the Qiwu’la Empire.

Qiwu’la lived a long life.

During his rule, three kings of the Taiben Kingdom died.

Qiwu’la did not pursue harsh reforms, but excelled at frontier governance, protecting the borderlands.

He mobilized border people into soldiers, strengthening his armies.

People willingly joined the military, so how could the troops not be strong?

Qiwu’la was also talented in poetry and prose, holding a prestigious place in Lingmo history.

His writings were sent to the Northern Mong Empire, making Shamula Khan (grandson of Khan Yika’er) greatly pleased.

In return, he gifted gold and jewels and exchanged nearly a hundred billion shields, enriching Qiwu’la’s treasury.

Qiwu’la immediately distributed the wealth to the people, and they rejoiced.

During his reign, there was no turmoil — a rarity envied by all emperors.

Kings taught their sons, ministers taught their heirs, and commoners taught their children.

“To govern a nation well brings peace.

To rule with talent secures the country.

With no burden on the people, reduced pressure and less war, great achievements arise.”
