Join the ServerTwo years prior, Lin Na had saved Ying during a mission, forging a deep friendship between them.
Ying held Lin Na in immense admiration; though close in age, Lin Na’s wisdom and insight far outstripped her own.
Her benefactor was much the same, their experiences shining like brilliant sunlight in Ying’s eyes.
Lin Na and her benefactor, they seemed so alike.
One was a Heavenly King’s Ten Prodigies, the other a true gentleman, both possessing formidable strength.
Though she had never seen his esteemed countenance, in Ying’s heart, Zhang Liang was already enshrined with a filter of dashing handsomeness.
Upon learning that her benefactor was lodging at the chain hotel her family owned, Ying felt a profound certainty that destiny itself was orchestrating their meeting.
Ying instructed Sebas to extend the utmost hospitality to her benefactor, yet Sebas returned with a crestfallen expression.
He had only received the reply that the benefactor required no special attention, being quite content and comfortable.
“Lin Na,” Ying pleaded, “I’m terribly nervous to meet my benefactor alone; won’t you accompany me?”
By this time, Ying and Lin Na had already reached the hotel lobby, though Lin Na’s presence was solely to escort Ying back.
“I… I still need to cultivate,” Lin Na demurred, her hand held by Ying, a hint of reluctance in her voice.
“My benefactor is truly formidable,” Ying insisted. “Should you two come to know each other, you could undoubtedly learn from each other’s strengths and compensate for any weaknesses.”
Hearing these words, Lin Na found herself hesitating.
The previous night, Ying had spoken at length about Zhang Liang, claiming he could manifest a hundred clones—a feat Lin Na found utterly unbelievable.
Lin Na, who considered her own speed to be at its zenith, could only conjure ten shadows even with her most advanced sword formation.
A person capable of manifesting a hundred shadows was simply unprecedented, a legend unheard of.
Pondering this, Lin Na resolved to meet him. Should she receive even a modicum of guidance, the journey would certainly not be in vain.

“Did you all hear about what happened yesterday?” a voice cut through the air. “Gou Bi, that immense tycoon, actually knelt directly before a beggar!”
“I even managed to find out that the man’s name is Zhang Liang. Just what kind of person is he, truly?”
“Do you think we should try to curry favor with him?” another chimed in. “Even a meager scrap from his table would be enough to make our fortunes.”
“I believe it’s worth a try,” someone else murmured. “I hear he’s an exceedingly lecherous fellow; I wonder if my daughter might catch his eye.”
The cacophony of discussions echoing through the hotel lobby grated harshly on Ying’s ears.
It felt as though they were directly insulting the hero enshrined within her heart.
Unable to curb her impulse, she stepped forward, confronting the crowd and rebuking them:
“My benefactor is a true gentleman, absolutely not some lecherous scoundrel!”
Her face veiled by a light gauze, her robes flowing gracefully, she spoke with a captivating voice that left everyone utterly mesmerized.
The remaining guests in the grand hall turned their gazes towards her, curiosity piqued.
It would have been better had they not looked, for a single glance sent their hearts into a flutter and their nostrils burning with a sudden heat.
Though her true visage remained hidden, those exquisitely beautiful eyes alone were proof enough that this person was a celestial beauty descended to the mortal realm.
It was, as the saying went, a ‘fairy descending to the mortal realm’ moment, a sight to behold in one’s lifetime.
Ying recounted Zhang Liang’s glorious deeds to them, yet they merely huddled together, whispering conspiratorially amongst themselves.
“Damn it all!” one hissed. “That Zhang Liang is quite something, to actually trick a beauty like her!”
“She’s completely brainwashed, utterly pitiful.”
“I wonder if Master Zhang will ever hold lectures,” another mused. “If he does, I’d surely kneel to listen.”
The burgeoning commotion in the lobby soon drew the attention of the manager, who, upon spotting Ying, instantly felt a wave of unease wash over him.
‘Damn it! Could it be the official wife has come knocking? Or even two of them?’
‘And one even carries a sword—this is the prelude to being utterly butchered!’
‘Old Master Zhang played so wildly yesterday; he’s surely not awake yet.’
‘I must find a way to stall them!’
‘If I can help Old Master Zhang escape this predicament, wouldn’t the tips flow endlessly?’
As the vulgar remarks from the crowd reached her ears, Lin Na’s elegant brows furrowed, and her estimation of Zhang Liang plummeted precipitously.
Such accusations were surely not groundless; if this was the outcome, there must be an underlying cause.
Ying, being naive and kind-hearted, was unfamiliar with the world’s myriad deceptions and thus prone to trusting others implicitly, making her highly susceptible to trickery.
Ying intended to press her argument further, but Lin Na gently restrained her.
If one wished to prove his innocence, a direct encounter would reveal all.
Ying found this reasoning sound; she ceased her protests and strode towards the magical elevator nearby.
“Wait!” The manager interjected, stepping in front of Ying and rubbing his palms together as he blocked her path. “Young ladies, neither of you are on our guest list, and as such, you cannot activate the direct elevator to the presidential suite.”
“Who are you?” Ying demanded, a hint of irritation in her tone.
The manager bowed deferentially. “I am the lobby manager here,” he stated.
“You’ve arrived at a most opportune moment,” Ying declared. “Lead me to the presidential suite; I have urgent business with Benefactor Zhang Liang.”
Having spoken, Ying intended to press forward, but the manager remained unyielding.
“That simply won’t do,” the manager replied, shaking his head. “Our hotel regulations mandate the utmost protection of our guests’ privacy. I must respectfully ask you two young ladies to return at a later time.”
“That rule is hereby abolished!” Ying retorted sharply.
“Huh?”
The manager was utterly dumbfounded. He couldn’t fathom what the stunning woman before him was saying—hotel rules, abolished just like that?
Just who did she think she was?
This was the Royal-grade Zeus Hotel, after all! One of the Changbai Kingdom’s numerous enterprises spanning the entire continent!
Don’t assume that simply because you possess a captivating beauty, everyone must indulge your whims!
“Young lady,” the manager said, his voice hardening, “if you continue with this unreasonable behavior, I shall have no choice but to summon security.”
“You dare!” Ying challenged, her eyes flashing.
Observing Ying’s resolute posture, the gathering onlookers concluded that she would likely not be deterred.
What had transpired here yesterday, some had witnessed firsthand, others had only heard whispers.
One man, two women, three individuals—what could they possibly be doing late at night?
“Surely they didn’t just go in to sleep, did they?”
“Do you believe it? I certainly don’t.”
Under Lin Na’s icy stare, the manager concluded that mere words were futile; he would have to resort to force.
“Security! Security!” the manager bellowed, his voice echoing through the hall.
In an instant, a dozen or more security personnel swarmed forward, encircling Ying and Lin Na completely.
The manager’s lips curled into a sneer as he thought, ‘Just two little girls—surely I can handle you!’
However, in the very next instant.
Lin Na unleashed an overwhelming aura, stepping protectively in front of Ying. Her imperious, icy countenance instantly sent a shiver of dread through everyone present.
“An aura? A powerful expert from the Imperial Realm?”
“Wait!” another gasped. “That long purple hair, that chillingly beautiful face… she… she’s Lin Na, one of the Heavenly King’s Ten Prodigies!”
“She’s the hero Lin Na who vanquished the Black Rock Dragon!?”
It was widely known that the Black Rock Dragon was an entity even entire armies struggled to contend with.
Upon encountering a dragon species, some nations would outright flee, let alone attempt to engage in battle.
Yet Lin Na, leading a mere ten-person squad, had successfully vanquished it.
The security guards who recognized Lin Na were instantly struck with a bone-chilling terror; their legs gave out, sending them collapsing to the floor, wishing they could simply flee, abandoning their posts entirely.
The manager, meanwhile, had turned utterly ashen, a single thought screaming through his mind: ‘My Old Master Zhang, just who in the blazes are you, to dare provoke even a Ten Prodigy?!’
The manager, who moments ago had intended to forcibly remove Ying and Lin Na, was now utterly petrified.
“It appears that Zhang Liang is about to face a massive reckoning.”
“This is an adultery bust in progress! Ha ha!”
“Now this is going to be a spectacle!”
Never one to shy from a good spectacle, the gawking guests all wore sly, expectant grins.
Amidst a flurry of conspiratorial whispers, they unanimously agreed that Zhang Liang would be stripped bare, branded a ‘scumbag,’ and hung at the city gates as a public warning.
Far from being resolved, the commotion only intensified, prompting Sebas to arrive in the lobby with a look of resignation.
Upon seeing the two figures amidst the throng, his eyes widened considerably. He swiftly pushed through the crowd and dropped to one knee before Ying.
“Young lady!” Sebas exclaimed, his voice laced with surprise. “Did you not instruct this old servant to retrieve you at eight o’clock? Why have you arrived so early?”
“Sebas,” Ying commanded, “lead me to my benefactor at once!”
“This…” Sebas faltered, a flicker of hesitation in his eyes. He was, of course, well aware of the previous day’s events, and he knew his young lady would be profoundly disappointed if she learned the truth. Yet, a secret could not be kept forever. “I understand,” he finally conceded. “Please, follow me.”
Sebas, reasoning that their acquaintance with Grand Hero Zhang was not yet deeply forged, concluded it would be prudent to distance themselves as swiftly as possible.
This time, the manager dared not impede Ying’s path, instead watching with profound astonishment as they stepped into the magical elevator.
‘Damn it all! Who was that girl? Butler Sebas actually knelt before her!?’
‘Sebas was renowned for his unwavering discipline and dedication to duty; he would never permit anyone to trample upon the hotel’s regulations. So why, then, had he disregarded those very rules to allow that girl into the elevator?’
‘Could that girl possibly be a member of the Changbai Kingdom’s royal family?’
‘Oh, for the love of—’
‘My Old Master Zhang, you truly are something else, aren’t you? What kind of people have you managed to provoke?’
Recalling his earlier disrespect, the manager adopted an expression of a man who was alive, yet already dead inside.
‘It seems… I’ll have to find a new job.’
After Ying and the others had departed, the discussions within the hall grew even louder.
Though they remained uncertain of Ying’s identity, her ability to disregard hotel regulations suggested she was undoubtedly an individual of immense power.
Zhang Liang’s identity alone had provided ample fodder for their imaginations, but now, they were even more curious to see just how spectacular his downfall would be.
In their eagerness to witness the unfolding drama, many guests who had been preparing to check out promptly extended their stays by another day.

“Ding-dong.” Ying pressed the doorbell of the presidential suite, her heart filled with trepidation.
She trusted Sebas implicitly, yet whenever she inquired about her benefactor, he would stammer and equivocate.
Even Ying had sensed that something was amiss.
“Coming~”
A woman’s soft, delicate voice drifted from within the room, causing Ying’s heart to skip a beat.
The door opened, revealing a woman with slightly curly hair, wrapped in a bath towel, standing before Ying.
“Oh? Aren’t you here to deliver breakfast?”
Ji Suyuan’s curly hair was still beaded with water, a significant portion of her fair, prominent flesh was exposed, and steam wafted from her body, suggesting she had just finished bathing.
Upon seeing her attire, Ying’s cheeks flushed crimson, and she stammered a rebuke: “Sham… shameless!”
Ying was utterly disappointed in Zhang Liang; tears welled in her eyes as she turned and walked away.
