Like a raging gale, the black cat clung tightly to the young girl’s clothes, barely avoiding being swept away by the turbulent air currents.
Yet, a distinct snap of breaking bones echoed clearly from the battlefield.
The moment Votila witnessed the clash of the two behemoths within the arena, it was a complete rout for the red-furred giant monster.
Its neck was instantly fractured, dangling behind it like a broken gourd, and its massive body was sent hurtling sideways.
Gasla, too, retreated a mere few steps. However, as he fell back, he seized the tentacles from the monster’s mouthparts.
With a mighty pull, a splat resounded, and the red-furred monster’s tentacles were all brutally ripped away.
‘Oh! What a wild and brutal fighting style,’ Votila mused, finding a strange satisfaction in watching the creature that had once unilaterally brutalized them now being utterly thrashed.
“Gasla, don’t hit it into the water. Bring it to the shore.”
“Woof!” Gasla howled, charging forward once more.
He seized the monster’s right arm, tucked it into his embrace, and began to spin the monster around like a giant pinwheel. Gasla twirled the creature in circles, stirring up the lake’s surface with a great splashing, as if conjuring a dragon spring wind.
Suddenly, he released his grip, flinging the monster away.
Good heavens! Votila, who had been watching the spectacle, suddenly saw a blur of red hurtling straight towards them.
Gasla had thrown it towards the nearest shore, and the monster soared directly over Mulee Hua and Votila’s heads.
The chaotic wind pressure made Mulee Hua’s hair and dress dance wildly.
Votila noticed the young girl’s face had also turned somewhat pale.
“Ga-sla-a! Where are you throwing it?!”
“Woof?” The muscular canine brother extended his tongue, looking utterly innocent.
*Crack! Crack! Crack!* The trees along the shore instantly suffered, countless trunks snapping in half from the impact.
The red-furred monster crashed heavily into the forest.
“Never mind…” Mulee Hua rubbed her forehead. “Just kill it directly.”
“Awoo!” Upon receiving the command, Gasla sprinted through the water, creating a surge of wind and waves as he reached the shore. He delivered a heavy punch to the fallen red-furred creature.
A dull thud of fist against flesh echoed. Votila watched as the muscular canine brother’s punch even left a visible indentation in the monster’s fur.
The red-furred monster twitched, but made no attempt to rise or retaliate. Perhaps it didn’t even register the pain.
“Awoo!” Gasla seemed dissatisfied with that single blow and immediately delivered another. The red-furred monster merely twitched again.
Mulee Hua observed the red-furred monster, which was passively taking a beating like a mere sandbag. After a moment’s thought, she instructed, “Use the Swift Meteor Barrage, Gasla.”
“Awoo!” Gasla’s left fist, as large as an oil drum, mercilessly hammered the red-furred monster’s body.
“Awoo!” As the left fist rapidly retracted, the right fist surged forward with equal speed.
With both fists striking in quick succession, the muscular canine brother unleashed a rapid and ferocious barrage upon the red sandbag before him.
The speed and intensity of his punches grew, transforming him into a dog-shaped pile driver, erupting in a dazzling flurry of blows.
“Awoo! Awoo! Awoo! Awoo!! Awoo!! Awoo!! Awoo-awoo-awoo-awoo-awoo…”
Dull thuds of breaking bones and tearing sinews filled the air. Votila watched as the muscular canine brother battered the red-furred creature’s skeleton, deforming and pulverizing it beyond recognition, gradually flattening its entire form.
“Awoo-awoo-awoo-awoo…!!!!”
From an outsider’s perspective, one could only perceive a myriad of fists dancing up and down upon the red sandbag. Even the ground beneath was pounded into a depression.
The red-furred monster’s fur had long since been shredded, and liquids of various colors gushed out, as if a paint shop had burst open.
“Awoo-awoo-awoo-awoo…!!!!”
After a rapid-fire barrage lasting three full minutes, Votila estimated that the muscular canine brother had landed at least a thousand heavy punches before finally ceasing.
Shaking his paws and ruffling his fur to dislodge the repulsive liquids from his body and fists, the muscular canine brother trotted to Mulee Hua, squatting before her as if seeking praise.
‘Truly… brutal!’
Gasla panted heavily, his tongue lolling out. The high-intensity barrage had clearly been a tremendous exertion for him.
“Well done, good doggy.” Mulee Hua rewarded him by stroking Gasla’s soft fur. She had initially intended to pat his head, but his height made it impractical.
“Woof! Woof! Woof!” Gasla barked happily, thrilled by the praise.
Votila almost couldn’t bear to look at the pitiful monster Gasla had assaulted.
It had been utterly demolished, resembling a lump of dough pounded into a paste. Reds, greens, yellows—countless colors—were churned into an unrecognizable mess.
‘How pathetic. Wouldn’t it have been better to simply drown in the lake? Now it’s been beaten into a ‘slime,’ without even a complete corpse.’
Just as the black cat’s thoughts wandered, the colorful ‘slime’ suddenly began to slowly wriggle!
The ‘slime’蠕动 quickly, and from it, the black cat sensed a different aura.
This aura felt somewhat familiar, a terrifying power that transcended nature.
‘Magic power?!’
