Join the ServerMy vision was blurred with involuntary tears.
Yet the sight before me remained unnervingly clear.
His eyelashes…
They were surprisingly long.
With his eyes closed, both the shape of them and the lashes framing them seemed impossibly long.
As I stared at the crease between his tightly furrowed brows, focused with almost frightening intensity, something deep in my lower abdomen suddenly spasmed.
A warm rush spilled across the demon’s tongue.
His suction immediately grew stronger.
Any thoughts about his eyelashes vanished from my mind.
“Ah… ah…”
Only after he had drawn me completely dry—until not even a single drop remained—did the demon finally release me.
My manhood, shriveled after climaxing, quickly wilted further as it met the cold night air.
Still lost in the lingering aftershocks, I couldn’t straighten my curled back.
I reached out blindly, grasping the first thing I found to steady myself.
Only later did I realize…
It had been the demon’s hair.
Mistaking his head for something brushing against my stomach, I absentmindedly hugged it.
When he stood up, I lost my support and landed heavily on the ground.
Dry leaves scattered across the forest floor.
The world continued spinning around me.
Panting heavily, I raised my hand.
Strands of crimson hair were tangled between my aching fingers like loose threads.
The demon smacked his lips.
His brows knitted together as though he had bitten into an unripe persimmon.
I glared at him through tear-filled eyes.
Then I remembered…
The taste lingering in his mouth was mine.
My head lowered of its own accord.
“It’s fishy.”
“…”
“It tastes bad.”
He frowned.
“Too thick.”
“…”
Then why had he eaten it?
No one forced him.
Did he think tasting it would somehow tell him what it was like?
If anyone was foolish here, it was the one who expected it to taste good in the first place.
The complaints echoed inside my head.
Yet I couldn’t bring myself to say a single word aloud.
“Do you always finish that quickly?”
It was a humiliating question for any man.
Ordinarily, I would have fired back without hesitation.
Instead, my lips remained stubbornly sealed.
The shock of having climaxed in his mouth would probably haunt me for a long time.
Perhaps amused by my inability to answer, the demon’s lips curled into a faint smile.
His next words carried an unmistakable teasing tone.
“Want me to do it again?”
“S-Shut up!”
I finally snapped.
His voice sounded exactly like someone tempting a child with sweets.
The intention to mock me couldn’t have been more obvious.
The mere thought of suffering such disgrace a second time made my blood boil.
Meanwhile, the demon merely puffed out his chest with unmistakable pride.
“The Emperor doesn’t do things like that for you, does he?”
“H-How dare you…!”
I glared at him.
“Do not utter such blasphemous nonsense!”
“So?”
He tilted his head.
“Does he or doesn’t he?”
As he reached toward me again, I panicked.
I immediately covered myself with both hands, squeezing my thighs tightly together.
“No, he doesn’t!”
I shot back.
“And more importantly, His Majesty would never lower himself by doing something so indecent!”
The demon wasn’t listening anymore.
Instead, he burst into laughter.
The bastard.
What exactly was so amusing?
He laughed so hard that I was left fuming alone.
Throwing his head back caused his wild crimson hair to fall away from his face.
Bathed in moonlight, his features became fully visible.
The savage impression remained.
Yet the curves formed by his smiling eyes and lips softened him just enough that he no longer looked entirely terrifying.
…
Reluctantly…
I had to admit it.
He was handsome.
Normally, the blood staining him and his tangled hair concealed it.
His skin was smooth, free of even a single scar.
His sharp features were bold without being coarse.
I had never before had the chance to examine him this closely.
Without realizing it, I found myself studying every detail of his face.
Then…
He grabbed the back of my neck.
“Mmph…!”
His lips crashed against mine.
Only then did I remember I had been vomiting moments earlier.
I pushed against his shoulders, trying to force him away.
The demon, however, showed no disgust whatsoever.
He thoroughly explored my mouth as though the sour taste meant nothing.
He clung to me with unbelievable persistence.
Eventually, I gave up trying to pull away.
Still exhausted after climaxing and dizzy from the alcohol, I let my body go limp.
The salty taste lingering on his tongue…
Knowing it was my own only made me shrink away from it.
Each time I avoided his tongue, he simply swallowed my lips whole instead.
Brute.
After thoroughly biting and sucking until my lips were swollen, he moved on.
My nose.
My eyes.
My ears.
He licked every part of my face as he pleased.
You damned dog…
I had cursed him as one countless times in my thoughts.
Now he truly behaved even worse than one, licking my face with shameless enthusiasm.
My black eyelashes clumped together with saliva.
The strands beside my ears stuck together into fine points.
Even the bridge of my nose bore faint bite marks.
Every inch of my face smelled like him.
That damned dog.
When he pulled me toward his chest, I offered no resistance.
After the first time in the library…
And after everything that had followed…
I had learned that resisting him accomplished nothing except provoking more violence.
It was easier to go limp.
To endure it.
To let it end as quickly as possible.
The warmth radiating from his upper body reminded me of the cold I had almost forgotten.
His body was so hot that the night air felt even colder by comparison.
The breeze rustling through the leaves sent chills racing over my skin.
It was freezing.
The demon at least still had something covering his lower body.
I, on the other hand, was completely naked.
The only source of warmth available was him.
Once again, I quietly leaned against his shoulder.
The first time had been difficult.
After that…
It became surprisingly easy.
I stole what little warmth his body offered.
Then I simply waited.
Wondering when he intended to enter me.
But…
He showed no sign of doing so.
Instead, he buried his nose against the back of my neck.
Like a dog, he took a long sniff.
“You smell like alcohol.”
“I’ve been drinking.”
I frowned.
“Of course I smell like alcohol.”
“When you’re drunk…”
He spoke slowly.
“Are you always this flirtatious?”
“…Have you lost your mind?”
I immediately straightened.
“I don’t become flirtatious when I drink.”
The accusation made my face stiffen.
The demon merely wrapped his arm tighter around my waist, pulling me firmly against him.
His abdomen beneath mine felt hard as carved stone.
“If this isn’t flirting…”
He looked down at me.
“Then what exactly have you been doing all night?”
“What are you talking about—”
I was cut off.
Without warning, he rubbed himself against me.
The sudden heat pressing between my buttocks made my entire body stiffen instinctively.
He slowly dragged himself up and down, the tip brushing teasingly over my entrance before sliding along the curve of my hips.
The leisurely movement carried only one purpose.
He was deliberately showing off.
“My cock is bigger than the Emperor’s.”
I stared at him in disbelief.
“…So?”
What exactly was I supposed to do with that information?
He really had drunk himself senseless tonight.
Alcohol truly ruined people.
Even the infamous demon had been reduced to proudly boasting about something so idiotic.
“So what if it’s bigger?”
I scoffed.
“All that means is it’ll hurt more.”
The movement against me stopped instantly.
Something felt wrong.
I looked up.
His gaze had gone cold.
“When you’re with the Emperor…”
His voice dropped.
“You don’t bleed?”
“I told you already!”
I snapped.
“I’ve never done anything like that with His Majesty! Stop insulting him!”
“Right.”
He nodded slowly.
“You haven’t.”
A grin spread across his face.
“Someone like you would never sleep with the Emperor.”
Perhaps his mind had truly broken tonight.
Only moments ago he had looked angry.
Now he was smiling again like a fool.
Maybe he hadn’t drunk wine at all.
Maybe someone had poisoned him.
I ought to report this to His Majesty.
There had to be some hallucinogenic poison loose within the palace.
The demon continued grinning to himself.
Unable to understand him, I finally demanded,
“Are you simply stupid…”
“…or are you incapable of trusting anyone?”
“And you?”
He shot back immediately.
“Why are you the way you are?”
I laughed in disbelief.
“You’re asking me that?”
“You actually think your own personality is normal?”
Being lectured about character by the demon of all people was almost laughable.
He was someone who killed others whenever the mood struck him.
Compared to that…
A righteous man like myself, who upheld every proper virtue, had nothing to be ashamed of.
Yet even the demon had his own twisted logic.
“You were the one who first—”
He suddenly stopped speaking.
That was unusual.
He had never hesitated to speak his mind.
Not before the late Emperor.
Not before anyone.
What words could possibly make even him fall silent?
I waited.
But the silence stretched on.
An awkward stillness settled between us.
Who would have thought…
That I would one day share a silence like this with the demon.
At this point, I almost preferred another violent bout of forced intimacy over sitting here saying nothing.
Unable to bear it any longer, I changed the subject.
“There is something I’ve wanted to ask.”
I looked at him.
“Why are you refusing to campaign against the northern tribes?”
For all his lawlessness, the demon generally obeyed His Majesty’s orders.
I had expected him to resist for a few days before eventually departing westward to wage war.
Instead…
He remained in the imperial capital.
If only he would leave, perhaps I could finally breathe again.
“I don’t want to.”
“You’re a general of the Xie Empire.”
I frowned.
“You should go for the Empire’s sake.”
“It is your duty.”
“You enjoy every privilege this Empire grants you.”
“You should fulfill your responsibilities in return.”
The demon snorted.
As though he had just heard the most ridiculous thing imaginable, he lazily scratched inside his ear with his little finger.
“If you want me to do the Emperor a favor…”
He smirked.
“Just say so.”
“No.”
I met his gaze.
“I told you.”
“It’s for the Xie Empire.”
The demon wasn’t the sort of man who accepted lies simply because they were convenient.
“What exactly is so great about that gloomy Emperor?”
“Gloomy?”
I stared.
“…You’re talking about His Majesty?”
Insulting a prince of the imperial family already angered me.
But insulting His Majesty himself…
That was another matter entirely.
The demon only continued.
“He smiles like a fox.”
“But inside, he’s always plotting something.”
“Where I come from, people call someone like that gloomy.”
“If you insult His Majesty again…”
I glared at him.
“I’ll tear your mouth apart.”
“Do you think I wouldn’t?”
The demon clicked his tongue.
Apparently displeased that I continued defending the Emperor, his arm tightened around my waist.
But…
He said nothing more about His Majesty.
The moon shone brightly overhead.
Flowering branches swayed gently in the night breeze.
Petals drifted down like falling rain.
Under the pale moonlight, each delicate blossom appeared almost transparent.
For the first time…
The demon didn’t seem savage.
Nor cold.
His crimson eyes carried an expression I had never seen before.
As though he were staring at a question whose answer had eluded him for years.
Quietly…
He asked,
“What is it about the Emperor…”
“…that makes you like him so much?”
