Join the ServerOn the way to Baek Eun-hoo’s house in the car driven by his secretary, Seong Ju-an blinked in surprise.
Baek Eun-hoo’s face, which happened to fall within his line of sight, was stiff.
He looked awfully angry for some reason.
The deal had gone smoothly, and thanks to Mo Jun-young’s help, nothing dangerous had happened, so why was he reacting like that…?
“You’re making it pretty obvious.”
“Making what obvious?”
“The way you keep sneaking glances at my face.”
“…Seriously. It’s because you’re sulking. What, did something happen to piss you off? Or are you throwing a tantrum?”
Despite Ju-an’s blatant sarcasm, Baek Eun-hoo merely turned his head and stared at him with an unreadable expression.
After a meaningless staring contest, he suddenly spoke.
“Want to have another drink when we get home? We couldn’t really drink comfortably earlier, could we?”
His suddenly gentler tone caught Ju-an off guard, but the suggestion wasn’t bad.
Better to get drunk and pass out than have to fall asleep beside Baek Eun-hoo in this awkward atmosphere.
“Do you have anything good?”
“If expensive means good, I’ve got more than enough.”
“Fine. Let’s have one more!”
The corners of Baek Eun-hoo’s lips curled slightly as he turned his gaze forward again.
Ju-an leaned back against the seat and pressed a hand to his forehead.
A silly grin kept spreading across his face, and his body swayed with the movement of the car.
He really thought he could sleep comfortably if he had just one more drink.
At least, Seong Ju-an thought it was possible at the time.
“Maybe I shouldn’t have suggested drinking…”
After taking a shower, a sudden wave of exhaustion washed over him.
If he had known this would happen, he would have just said he wanted to sleep, but it was already too late to take it back.
He roughly dried himself with a towel, tossed it into the laundry basket, and walked into the living room, only to find that Baek Eun-hoo was nowhere to be seen.
“Come upstairs.”
As Ju-an looked around, Baek Eun-hoo called out to him from the top of the second-floor staircase.
When Ju-an climbed the spiral staircase, the first thing he saw was a home bar occupying one entire wall.
Rather than sit on the uncomfortable bar stools, Seong Ju-an settled onto the sofa in front of the bar and looked around.
Baek Eun-hoo was standing in front of a wall lined with expensive liquor, the bottles arranged beautifully beneath tables and lighting that complemented the luxurious wood tones.
The white knit sweater he wore had its sleeves folded twice, comfortably hugging his chest muscles, while his beige slacks accentuated his long legs.
Ju-an was tracing the delicate muscles that even the knit couldn’t completely conceal with his eyes when Baek Eun-hoo, who was taking out a glass, suddenly met his gaze.
“…”
“…”
The moment their eyes met, the atmosphere turned strange, and Ju-an hurriedly looked away.
Was it because of the alcohol?
Baek Eun-hoo looked especially beautiful tonight.
Ju-an had always known he was handsome, but this was almost…
Get a grip, Seong Ju-an.
He shouted the words inwardly and pinched his thigh when Baek Eun-hoo wasn’t looking.
No matter how long he’d been suppressing it, what kind of desire was this to have toward Baek Eun-hoo?
He had to be crazy.
By the time Ju-an realized it, Baek Eun-hoo had already approached and sat beside him, placing a bottle of Dom Pérignon White Gold on the table.
The bottle glittering beneath the lights perfectly suited Baek Eun-hoo’s image, elegant yet somehow decadent.
He tilted the bottle wrapped in white gold.
The liquid filling the champagne glass seemed to tempt Ju-an to hurry up and drink it.
“Here.”
Ju-an’s eyes traced the prominent veins across the back of Baek Eun-hoo’s hand as he held out the drink, and he accepted the glass.
The moment he took a sip, Seong Ju-an’s eyes widened in surprise.
It really wasn’t expensive for nothing.
The subtly sweet, slightly bitter flavor spread across his palate, and it was incredible.
“Not bad, right?”
“It is.”
After that brief exchange, the two fell silent.
Time passed quietly as they refilled their glasses, clinked them together, and exchanged glances.
Then Baek Eun-hoo suddenly spoke.
“Don’t worry. Alcohol has never been a problem for me. I’m not the type who gets drunk easily.”
Ju-an wasn’t sure what exactly he was supposed to be worrying about, but he answered anyway.
“Alcohol has never really been a problem for me either…”
Seong Ju-an stared at Baek Eun-hoo’s face through half-lidded eyes.
Despite having drunk quite a lot, Baek Eun-hoo looked annoyingly unaffected.
When the corners of Baek Eun-hoo’s eyes lowered slightly, Ju-an sighed.
“I think it might be a problem tonight. Considering you look pretty to me, Mr. Baek Eun-hoo.”
Even after Ju-an had said it that honestly, Baek Eun-hoo showed little reaction, as if he had simply let the words pass him by.
For some reason, Ju-an became stubborn about it.
When Baek Eun-hoo lifted his glass, Ju-an reached out and lightly poked the taut muscles of his arm with a finger.
“Haha.”
Baek Eun-hoo laughed with an amused, almost affectionate look in his eyes, and Ju-an laughed along with him.
Taking care not to spill their precious alcohol, they continued their childish game of poking each other’s arms and chests.
Aside from the sound of their laughter, not a single other noise could be heard.
It felt as though this place were an isolated island where no one else existed.
Was it because of the quiet atmosphere?
Or perhaps because the heat between them kept rising?
For a little while, the two of them set aside the looming threat of a world-ending catastrophe that could potentially lead to war, focusing solely on each other in a space where no one could interrupt them.
When they were drunk enough for their minds to grow hazy, Baek Eun-hoo put down his glass, lifted Ju-an’s arm, and draped it over his shoulder.
“Seong Ju-an, it’s time to sleep.”
“…Yeah.”
With his body floating as though weightless, Ju-an was led to Baek Eun-hoo’s bed.
“Wh-why are you taking it off?”
“I’m drunk too. Just go to sleep quietly.”
As he pulled off his knit sweater, his firm chest was revealed.
Ju-an swallowed awkwardly and pulled the blanket higher.
The thigh he had been pinching ever since lying down was now practically bleeding.
He needed to look away.
If he did, he wouldn’t get aroused…
Yet even while thinking that, he couldn’t tear his eyes away from Baek Eun-hoo’s straight shoulders and well-defined chest muscles.
It wasn’t some slender, graceful figure.
He was looking at a man’s body, and this was getting a little…
Until that moment, Seong Ju-an had definitely still been in his right mind.
But the moment Baek Eun-hoo lay down beside him, the strong scent of his cologne made Ju-an’s head spin.
Before he was even fully aware of what was happening, their lips met.
Baek Eun-hoo’s hand, cupping his cheek and reaching around to the nape of his neck, was hot enough to make it difficult for Ju-an to hold his head steady.
Their lips parted almost immediately, but the hand against his cheek remained.
At such a close distance that their noses nearly touched, long fingers slowly traced Ju-an’s lips.
The fingers gradually traveled downward, passing over his throat, brushing his collarbone, and continuing all the way to his stomach.
Although he thought he should push Baek Eun-hoo away, he couldn’t move beneath those blue eyes filled with such intense desire.
Seong Ju-an found it strange that the man standing before him was Baek Eun-hoo.
The Baek Eun-hoo of all people, touching him with such delicate tenderness.
Only then did Ju-an realize.
It’s a dream!
If this were reality, there was no way Baek Eun-hoo would look at him so wistfully and touch him so gently.
In dreams, anything was possible.
Having figured out the situation, Ju-an suddenly grabbed Baek Eun-hoo’s cheeks with both hands.
Baek Eun-hoo gave a faint, amused smile, as though daring him to try.
Even in his dreams, he was just as damn annoying.
Feeling competitive, Ju-an clumsily pressed his lips against Baek Eun-hoo’s.
He had definitely been the one to make the first move, yet the longer they kissed, the more it felt as though he were the one being devoured.
Baek Eun-hoo’s tongue entering his mouth was hot.
His breathing gradually grew ragged.
Even though it was a dream, he found it difficult to breathe, and his head spun.
Then, when the tip of Baek Eun-hoo’s tongue traced between his teeth, a tingling sensation rose from deep within his stomach, making his toes curl involuntarily.
The hand that had been wrapped around the back of his neck slowly moved down along his spine.
His shoulders twitched, and his eyes closed of their own accord.
Everywhere Baek Eun-hoo touched felt as though it had been scorched by fire, and the dream could go no further.
Baek Eun-hoo pulled away from his lips and looked at Seong Ju-an, who had his eyes closed, before running a hand through his hair.
A wave of self-loathing washed over him.
What the hell was he doing with someone who was so drunk he was practically about to collapse?
Yet he simply couldn’t let go.
Baek Eun-hoo whispered softly into his ear.
“Seong Ju-an, are you asleep?”
“…No. I’m not sleeping.”
He had looked as though he were asleep, yet an answer came back.
“If you want me to stop here, push me away.”
Even in his drunken state, Ju-an’s left arm, which was wrapped around Baek Eun-hoo’s neck, lifted slightly as though he wanted him to stop, but that was all.
“You’re not pushing me away.”
Ju-an, whom Baek Eun-hoo had expected to refuse him, leaned forward and pressed his lips against his again.
In that instant, the looks of the people at the party who had directed their attention toward Ju-an flashed through Baek Eun-hoo’s mind, along with Eun Su-jeong’s words.
As the scenes surfaced one after another, his competitive spirit and possessiveness became so hopelessly tangled that his thoughts were a mess.
He couldn’t hold himself back any longer.
He stripped away all the cumbersome clothes covering Ju-an’s body and undressed himself as well.
When he gently stroked Ju-an’s snow-white thigh, he heard the sound of Ju-an swallowing nervously.
Suppressing his instinct to rush things, Baek Eun-hoo lowered his lips to Ju-an’s body.
“Ah… No, th-that… f*ck!”
When Ju-an panicked and tried to escape, Baek Eun-hoo caught him by the waist, breathed against his skin, and tickled his chest.
The moan that escaped Ju-an’s lips only fueled the desire building inside him.
Baek Eun-hoo took his time, pressing kisses all over Seong Ju-an’s body.
Only then did the body that had been rigid with tension gradually relax.
“Haah…”
“Don’t tense up.”
When he whispered into Ju-an’s ear, Ju-an nodded.
Only after seeing his long eyelashes trembling and his lips parting did Baek Eun-hoo push him down onto the bed.
“Ha… This is driving me crazy. Seriously.”
Seong Ju-an wrapped himself around him as though he wanted to devour him.
He had intended to stop after going only so far, but at this rate, even if they stayed up all night, his thirst probably wouldn’t be quenched.
“Seong Ju-an.”
When he called his name, those half-lidded eyes turned toward him.
They were filled with such heat that they seemed to urge him to move.
“Ah… and, what… hurry…”
His words were slurred beyond recognition, but the desire in his eyes seemed to tell Baek Eun-hoo that Ju-an wanted him too.
Swallowing the hot breath escaping from Ju-an’s parted lips, he slowly moved.
“Relax.”
“Hng…”
Ju-an moaned and gripped the sheets tightly.
Why was he tensing up even more when he had just been told to relax?
Baek Eun-hoo kissed Ju-an on the lips and waited for a while, until his body finally relaxed.
