“Hall, starting today, stay away from your sister, understand?”
In a corner by the academy’s plain-colored wall.
A slender, white-stockinged thigh suddenly barred his way, accompanied by a woman’s forceful shout.
The black-haired youth’s face showed a hint of surprise for a moment.
But the woman probably never would have guessed that after his brief moment of surprise, the youth’s first thought would be, ‘Those are some fine legs.’
Moreover, this young woman was wearing jade-colored sandals with gold ribbons, and he could even make out the shape of her feet beneath the white silk; they weren’t particularly dainty, but they were definitely beautiful.
“Hey, Hall Faxtius, I, Himan Von, will say it again: starting today, stay away from your sister, Lorraine Faxtius, understand?”
Wait.
‘Hall Faxtius, is she calling me?’
The black-haired youth pondered for a few seconds.
‘And this Himan Von, why does her name sound so much like one of the main heroines from that R-16 yuri game with ultra-high freedom and unorthodox gameplay that he had just beaten dozens of times recently?’
‘As for Hall, he was the most polarizing character in that game.’
‘I’m screwed!’
‘Could it be that I’ve transmigrated?!’
‘No, it could also be reincarnation, with my memories only awakening now.’
Hall quickly calmed down; as a player somewhat famous online for his steady and cautious approach to clearing high-difficulty games.
His composure and ability to accept things were much higher than that of an ordinary person.
He was all too familiar with the cliches of transmigration and reincarnation from novels and games—even if you’ve never eaten pork, you’ve seen a pig run.
But the character of Hall still made him a bit stiff.
Because this character could replenish mana for the heroines in a yuri game.
What was supposed to be a perfectly good, story-driven, female-protagonist yuri game where everyone got close and cuddly became extremely unorthodox simply because the author added Hall out of some twisted sense of humor.
To put it simply, new players were easily discouraged by the high-difficulty secret realms or dungeons they encountered while advancing the plot.
They would get stuck and be unable to win.
Then, the player had two choices: one was to painstakingly practice their skills and have their chosen heroine grind for experience and gold in the wild where acquisition rates were low.
The other was to have their chosen heroine directly seek out a male NPC named Hall in the Theocracy’s Imperial City—a character with the “playboy aristocrat” attribute—to replenish her mana.
Replenishing mana granted a huge amount of experience and could even unlock special skills.
If mana was replenished too many times, it would trigger the heroine’s “fallen” storyline as the game progressed.
This was highly praised by a portion of the player base, who said the author’s design was both convenient and interesting.
The veteran NTR-loving bros felt like they were “winning, winning, winning” after putting themselves in his shoes.
Furthermore, Hall was also good-looking and popular with female players; some of the more risqué female players with a taste for contrast even played the game as an unorthodox otome game.
But nearly half the players despised this character, wishing they could kill Hall immediately after unlocking the Theocracy’s Imperial City map to prevent their own weak will from letting Hall sleep with the heroine after getting stuck.
In truth, if it were only that, he wouldn’t have to worry too much after transmigrating.
The problem was.
No matter which heroine’s route was taken, or what kind of ending was achieved.
Hall’s death midway through was an absolute certainty.
Sometimes he died early, sometimes he died late.
If the player even used Hall to sleep with the chosen heroine all the way to max level, it would automatically trigger a cutscene where the heroine hacks Hall to death one morning.
Therefore, this game with its ultra-high freedom was also jokingly called “The Game May Not Be Cleared, But Hall Must Die” by players.
‘At least before I transmigrated, this game had already sold nearly a million copies after going viral from all sorts of fan-made content by short-video creators, and among the tens of thousands of endings achieved by the millions of players worldwide, there wasn’t a single one where Hall didn’t die.’
He felt that this was just too…
unlucky.
If he considered the “no regrets before death” angle, his primary objective would probably be to find a way to get his fill of the heroines first.
But the more he slept with the heroines, the higher the probability of triggering a death plot.
He wanted to live a few more years; after all, Hall’s in-game setting was that of an aristocratic young master in the Theocracy, with money and status at his disposal.
Later on, he even became the commander of the Order of Black Knights, directly under the Church’s command, and in some storylines, he even became a major demon lord-like boss.
A template with such impressive stat growth.
‘Why should he provoke the heroines? Couldn’t he just go after the beautiful non-heroine characters?’
“Hey, Hall, are you listening to me? Do you want me to kick you?”
The beautiful, long-legged, blonde girl across from him, dressed in light knight’s armor, a form-fitting skirt, and white silk stockings, spoke with a hint of disgust.
Himan truly detested Hall.
‘Never mind this guy getting into the highest academic institution in the Theocracy, or even the entire continent, to study.’
‘He had also relied entirely on his family connections to worm his way into the Order of Black Knights, secretly trained by the Church, and was even promoted to squad leader last month.’
‘With his habit of harassing noble ladies every day, is he worthy of being in the Order of Black Knights, the so-called Blade of the Theocracy?’
‘Who knows how much worse he’ll get after he graduates and gains power.’
She had to give Hall a warning shot right now.
“Ah, what is it?”
Hall knew this girl detested him, but based on the current plot, it hadn’t reached the point where she would want to kill him yet.
It was best not to get too involved if he could help it.
“Don’t play dumb. Stay away from your sister, Lorraine. If I see you with Lorraine again, don’t blame me for what happens.”
Himan said hatefully.
In her eyes, this guy was frivolous with his female classmates every day.
He had probably done the same things to Lorraine.
But to her surprise, the young man answered immediately.
“I get it. Just stay away from her, right?”
Hall didn’t want to get too close to Lorraine either.
This sister of his, in the game’s story, actually had the personality of a little angel; not only was she good to the heroines, but she was also nice to him, her older brother.
In the early-game plot, whenever the heroines clashed with Hall, Lorraine would always help mediate.
Judging by this alone, she could be called the best sister in the world.
In the late-game Lorraine route, Hall was basically killed by other heroines who had fallen in love with Lorraine and couldn’t tolerate him bullying her any longer.
If he didn’t bully Lorraine in the story, he would meet a sudden, violent death through various natural disasters and man-made calamities.
As for Lorraine’s mana replenishment storyline, it was written by the author to be absurdly outrageous.
After the player, controlling Lorraine, had her seek out Hall for mana replenishment for the first time, if the player’s party then contained other heroines or supporting female characters, and they also sought out Hall for mana replenishment.
A death event would have a chance of occurring.
When the death event occurred.
The deceased could be Hall, or it could be the heroine who sought mana replenishment that night, or even a heroine or supporting female character who had sought mana replenishment before.
Some players even got a total party wipe and a direct BAD END just because they chose Lorraine as their first heroine at the start of the game and then performed the above actions.
Therefore, someone once posted an analysis saying that Lorraine was actually a hidden yandere; although her official setting was that of a little angel and a lesbian, she held a pathological love for Hall, and if she sensed her brother having a relationship with another woman, she would kill both Hall and the woman.
Although it was never confirmed, after becoming aware of his identity, Hall absolutely did not dare to touch this character with a ten-foot pole.
A complete minefield.
“Do you think I’d believe your nonsense? She’s so kind anyway; even if you harassed Lorraine at home during the holidays, she wouldn’t go telling on you to others.”
Hall felt a bit of a headache; this cousin’s ability to jump to conclusions was truly something else.
Back when he played the game, he wasn’t a big fan of Himan’s character.
He basically just went through her main story quests and rarely bothered to level her up intentionally.
If it weren’t for her appealing character art with the white-stockinged thighs and her well-made model, he wouldn’t have even bothered to consider adding her to his party.
The game’s ultra-high freedom also allowed certain exceptionally talented heroines to clear the game solo.
“Himan, is there anything else? I’m heading back.”
It seemed to be after school, so he decided to dip.
Seeing his attitude, Himan grew a little anxious; in the past, this guy wouldn’t have just turned and left so nonchalantly.
Instead, when she made a demand of him, he would have gotten worked up with her.
Only when Hall got worked up could she press on.
So, she shouted at Hall’s back.
“Going home right after school ends? I really don’t know how you managed to test into Holy Light University.”
Hearing this, Hall, once again contrary to Himan’s expectations, didn’t turn back.
As he walked, he recalled the essay the original Hall had written to get into Holy Light University.
Its title was—”My Admiral Father”.

Why do I feel like Lorraine is the cause of Hall’s continued deaths lmfao
Yeah XD
