[(Image Heavy) Main Quest Walkthrough for Zelpia Newbies – Part 1] Author: GlassesGuy | Views: 382,795
Hello, I’m GlassesGuy.
List of previous walkthroughs [Click to Expand]
Today, I’ve brought a guide for the main quests for those just entering Zelpia. One thing new players often say is, “I’ve never seen a game with such high freedom.” Yes, Zelpia is a game of immense freedom. If you wish, you can ignore the main quest entirely and focus only on the Tower, or find hidden quests through NPC interactions. This freedom extends to the quest system, meaning there are multiple ways to clear any given objective.
The following method is simply the most efficient path based on data, and I’d like to remind you that undiscovered methods may still exist.
You cannot take multiple quests at once, so choose wisely.
The scroll bar was tiny—GlassesGuy’s guide was excessively detailed, covering everything from branching paths to hidden triggers. I flicked the scroll down rapidly until I found the section on Bibi.
[Bibi’s Quest Guide] The easiest way is to simply hunt and bring back the drop items. [Method 1 – Lowest Reward] There are two hidden quests linked to Bibi:
Generally, players clear one of these to get that race’s reward. Wrath of the Slug-kind is harder but has better rewards. If you’re confident in your controls, go for the Orc massacre; otherwise, the Slug massacre is recommended. Either way, once you start killing a race, they become hostile.
+ Bonus Method) This is the method known to be used by top rankers like Sephiroth, Flame Warrior, and AngelA.
It sounds easy, but every time you clear a phase, the enemy levels jump by 15. Unless you have Sephiroth-level controls, I absolutely do not recommend this. Haha.
“What the… it’s literally written right there as the ‘pro’ method.”
I closed the community window and stood there blankly. To someone like me, who had only ever played online games following fixed routes, a new world had opened up. A quest where everyone’s clear method could be different… Sephiroth really was a living walkthrough.
“So all the rankers cleared it like this?”
“I see you looked it up. Do you trust me a bit more now?”
Sephiroth reacted to my mumbling. I didn’t want to nod, but I couldn’t exactly shake my head either. Seeing my silence, he scraped at my nerves once more with that slick voice.
“Since you’ve decided to trust me, why not do it properly?”
“If you were me, would you trust you?”
“Where else are you going to find someone as reliable as me?”
Forget it, just forget it. I stopped bickering with the shameless bastard and fell into thought. Was this quest really designed just to slaughter every race? Maybe, but maybe not. Unless the developers were total monsters who thought killing was the ultimate virtue, they must have prepared a way to clear it without a bloodbath.
Common sense dictates that killing the quest-givers shouldn’t be the ‘best’ answer.
Plus, there was one more reason I didn’t want to clear it his way. The fact that it was the same way this lunatic did it bothered me immensely. This guy had already made my gaming life twice as hard; did my future path have to mirror his too?
“Accept the trade.”
While I was dying of frustration, Sephiroth sent a trade request. I clicked ‘OK’ without thinking, and two items were placed in the slots.
Giant Slug Mucus and Orange-flower Lion Mane.
“What’s this?”
“Hurry up and go kill the Orcs. Drink that elixir I gave you first.”
Don’t say such horrifying things with such a pleasant voice and a cheerful tone.
If I kept going, the game would flow exactly as Sephiroth intended. Honestly, there wasn’t a huge practical problem with that, but my pride was wounded. My past self, who had acted like a spokesperson for the races crying “How could you do such a thing!”, was also a problem.
This is why people shouldn’t live emotionally. It only leads to regret.
Caught in a stalemate, I urgently typed into the chat again.
[Guild] BlueberryWhiskey: Guys help fast [Guild] BlueberryWhiskey: Is there any other way to clear the Orc quest??
The one who responded to my frantic, typo-ridden chat was Wonjae Hyung.
[Guild] JujiyukLim: What’s up? ㅋㅋㅋ [Guild] JujiyukLim: There’s a rumored route to clear it without killing. [Guild] JujiyukLim: It’s absolutely impossible solo. [Guild] JujiyukLim: But people say it’s possible if a high-level with god-tier controls helps. [Guild] JujiyukLim: It’s mostly just a theoretical route though ㅋㅋㅋ [Guild] PoongPoongieLove: I know that one too. [Guild] PoongPoongieLove: Just some internet experts [Guild] PoongPoongieLove: Writing fanfiction ㅇㅇ [Guild] JujiyukLim: Exactly ㅋㅋㅋ
But the moment I saw that sentence, I felt it.
[Guild] BlueberryWhiskey: Send me the link, quick.
This is my path.
<Newbies, here’s how to easily clear ‘The Missing Orcs’ without killing> Author: Anonymous
If you’re here looking for info, I assume you already know the hidden quest locations. Once you get them, you can suddenly talk to the Slugs and Lions. Wondering why? Here’s the easy secret.
On the world map, there’s the ‘Walpurgis Ruins’ to the north. It’s the only ‘Newbie Sanctuary’ in the north with no level limit. Go in there and find an item called ‘Tears of a Dead Wildflower.’ Take two and give them to the Slug Queen and the Lion King.
If you talk to them, they constantly mention how much they love that item. The quest isn’t ‘Take Revenge,’ it’s ‘Satisfy Them,’ so this should be enough explanation. Stop struggling to kill Orcs and just visit the ruins.

<Proof that clearing Orcs via Walpurgis Ruins is totally possible> Author: ㅇㅅㅇ
Party up with one cracked max-level, enter the ruins, and while the max-level does the damage, you use your god-tier controls to dodge everything and clear the mechanics. The problem is the mid-boss. It’ll use an instant-death move with insane damage. Just as you’re about to die, the max-level who miraculously survived the move appears! Get one resurrection from them, dodge the remaining boss AOEs, and grab the Tears as soon as they drop. Clear! Do that twice, then go to the Slug Queen and Lion King. Done.
