Chapter 46: Noah’s Swift Aid and the Silent Interrogation

“Clennina, what happened to her?”

Delicate fingers kneaded Letitia’s shoulders with surprising strength.

The sensation of her stiff joints being liberated was intensely pleasurable, drawing an involuntary moan from Letitia.

She unconsciously leaned back, her head resting perfectly against Noah’s soft, ample bosom.

The alluring Mariana Trench of her cleavage seemed to envelop her entire head, its yielding softness profoundly comfortable, as if she could sink into it.

What a marvelous headrest it was; she could even detect the faint, milky scent of Noah’s skin.

Letitia’s eyes narrowed slightly, her mind, utterly blank, felt as though it had ascended to paradise, while Noah’s slightly innocent question reached her ears.

“She might… *haah*… have run into some trouble, and needs a bit of… *ungh!*… assistance… However, the empire’s main forces are all concentrated on the front lines right now, and there aren’t enough support troops… that can be swiftly deployed…”

Letitia explained, her words punctuated by gasps; each time she tried to form a coherent thought, Noah’s powerful fingers seemed to knead her thoughts away, leaving her entire body numb from the massage.

While she certainly had swift knights under her command, none were currently capable of reaching Dunwich Town quickly while also possessing sufficient strength to assess Clennina’s situation.

For instance, Hunting Knight, though his leg strength was considerable and he could indeed lead a small, lightly armed detachment with great speed, he couldn’t fly nor was he proficient in magic, and the path from the Demon King’s Castle to Dunwich Town was predominantly forest and mountain roads.

By the time he arrived, Clennina would likely have been turned into a dried bat.

The state of war, coupled with Silvya’s transformation last night, made Letitia hesitant to leave the Demon King’s Castle.

For now, she could only pray that Clennina was unharmed, and while trusting in Clennina’s abilities, she instructed nearby troops to proceed with cautious reconnaissance.

Uwah!”

Another finger strike seemed to dissolve her very bones.

Letitia’s entire body went numb, and after a shudder, she collapsed back into her chair, flushed and panting, her expression utterly spent, as if she had been thoroughly “broken.”

If she were to stand, one might even see Letitia’s legs trembling slightly beneath her elegant gown.

Her consciousness, shattered by the intense pleasure, took more than ten seconds to recover.

Her blank mind finally regained its capacity for thought, and as she rotated her flushed, fragrant shoulders, her body felt considerably lighter.

The accumulated fatigue from days of arduous work seemed to vanish completely.

“What’s this, then? Is it just a small matter?”

Noah, having just finished the massage, stretched languidly, her ample curves fully displayed.

Her large bosom gleamed with a creamy white luster in the afternoon sun, making Letitia’s cheeks flush crimson.

“From the Demon King’s Castle to Dunwich Town… the straight-line distance is roughly two thousand kilometers.

If I fly at a dragon’s speed, it would take about two hours.”

“If it’s a simple matter, I might even be back in time for dinner.”

“Huh?”

Letitia hadn’t fully recovered yet; she blinked, looking rather bewildered, her small mouth slightly agape, expressing her inner confusion.

“So, if Your Majesty is worried, wouldn’t it be better if I went to check?”

Noah winked back playfully and smiled sweetly.

“To ease Your Majesty’s burdens—isn’t that what a virtuous and excellent wife ought to do?”

“Hmm… but that’s too dangerous…”

Letitia was somewhat reluctant to let Noah venture into danger; even though she had some understanding of Noah’s strength, she still feared unexpected perils for her.

“Don’t worry, Your Majesty. If there’s any real danger, I’ll run back without a second thought.”

Noah patted her voluptuous, trembling bosom and proudly puffed out her chest as she spoke.

“Then… if you’re going, take this with you.”

Letitia took a deep breath, made up her mind, and rose to her feet, placing a runestone into Noah’s hand, her eyes filled with worry and reluctance.

She respected Noah’s judgment; if Noah was truly set on going, she wouldn’t stop her.

Besides, she was genuinely worried about Clennina.

“But you must return safely.”

Gazing into Noah’s clear, pale blue dragon eyes, Letitia spoke, her voice brimming with concern.

“Mm! I definitely will!”

A brilliant smile bloomed on Noah’s face, her eyebrows curved, making her resemble a comforting angel.

Then, with narrowed eyes, she leaned close to Letitia’s ear and exhaled a sweet, delicate breath as she whispered:

“If I return tonight… Your Majesty, remember to prepare a reward for me, okay?”

Letitia’s dark red eyes widened abruptly, and the blush on her face deepened considerably.

Before she could utter a word, Noah took two steps back, and with a few powerful strides, launched herself into the air from the garden clearing, breaking the sound barrier in an incredibly short time.

Her figure, enveloped by her Sacred Domain, quickly became a tiny speck, then vanished into the horizon.

Only a few faint, sweet traces of her scent remained, marking where the maiden had been.

Letitia gazed blankly at Noah’s receding figure, her nose delicately registering the lingering fragrance Noah had left behind, and only after it completely faded did she snap back to reality.

“A contingency left by the Abyssal Church, then… It seems I’ll have to properly interrogate that ‘Silent’ gentleman.”

She recalled recent clues and mumbled.

Inside the Demon King’s Castle dungeon, the environment was unusually clean compared to other dungeons, even bordering on luxurious.

It wasn’t damp or gloomy; there were no rats, no prisoners’ wails, nor the stench of blood, only a silence as profound as a slumbering graveyard.

Instead, the walls bore oppressive, spirit-crushing runes; no one knew the material of these markings, and prisoners whose wills weren’t strong enough would go mad within hours.

Only individuals deemed extremely dangerous to the nation were imprisoned here.

This place was less the Demon King’s Castle dungeon and more the Demon King’s personal dungeon, for the prisoners here were directly suppressed by the combined power of successive Demon Kings.

“I wondered who had come, but it turns out to be the King of the Sinful Race. What business do you have here?”

Even under an exaggerated weight, the emaciated man showed no trace of fear.

He raised his head, and in his dark eyes, inextinguishable flames seemed to burn, making him resemble a skeleton with ghost fires flickering in its eye sockets.

His hands and feet were bound by heavy chains, which were inscribed with emblems personally carved by Letitia, rendering them impregnable, both physically and mystically.

Unless it was a mystery of the Abyssal Lord’s caliber, it would be impossible to break the chains binding the man.

“‘Silent’ Julius, I ask you, what have you done to the lords under my rule?”

Letitia, clad in a black gown, resembled a banshee of mourning.

Her fair skin, opulent black attire, and dark red eyes radiating terror and gravitas were such that a single glare from her was enough to shatter one’s soul.

In her hand, she held the black seed—the Abyssal Wedge Noah had given her yesterday.

Her tone was calm and languid, yet imbued with an invisible, crushing weight, as she questioned the man before her.
