“Clennina, the Piercing Knight, why are you here?
According to reports, you should currently be on a search mission in the border town.”
Letitia gently pushed Noah away from her, who had been clinging to her side, and nonchalantly resumed her regal bearing as the Demon Lord.
Yet, the faint flush on her skin and her slightly hurried breaths betrayed the true tumultuous state of her heart.
“How cruel, Little Ya! We’ve been best friends since birth; couldn’t it be that I simply missed you and rushed back from the border?”
The Vampire Princess, Clennina Violet, shedding her earlier respectful demeanor, wiped away feigned tears from her cheeks with delicate hands, punctuating her act with exaggerated sobs.
A long, slender sword was fastened at her waist; it was slightly broader than a rapier, yet too slender for a longsword—a niche weapon known as a ‘thrusting longsword’.
“She’s two hundred years older than me, an old auntie…”
Letitia turned her face away, her expression blank, and mumbled under her breath.
“What did you say, Little Ya? Want to fight?”
Her expression instantly contorted, veins bulging faintly on her pale forehead as she tightened her grip on her sword hilt.
“Demon Lord~, might you introduce me to this rude young lady?”
Unable to tolerate being ignored, Noah interjected.
Her face was graced with a smile, yet her eyes held not a trace of warmth as she regarded the vampire princess; the princess returned her gaze with an equally polite, albeit frigid, smile.
Of course, Noah had heard Clennina’s self-introduction earlier, but her irritation stemmed from being interrupted and subsequently disregarded.
Hence, she deliberately chose the word ‘rude’ to describe her.
“Are you deaf, human Saintess?
It seems your excessive development has not only affected your eyesight but also your hearing.
Who permitted you to interrupt my conversation with Little Ya?”
Clennina grinned, revealing her fangs, her crimson eyes widening like brass bells.
“How dare a mere cow with a bust exceeding a hundred run wild in the Demon Lord’s territory?”
A single reprimand from the young Demon Lord caused the vampire princess’s fiery demeanor to immediately subside.
“My apologies, Your Majesty the Demon Lord.”
She respectfully bowed slightly, once again performing a knight’s courtesy.
“However, if you find this large-chested, brainless pest too noisy, then please permit your subordinate to pierce her skull—conveniently, I’m also curious to taste what a Saintess might be like.”
Clennina languidly licked her lips, her eyes gleaming with a bloodthirsty glint.
“She is… a distinguished guest of the Demon Lord’s castle, Clennina, you must not be rude.”
Letitia’s gaze firmly suppressed Clennina’s aggressive aura, and upon hearing these words, the vampire princess seemed struck by lightning.
“No way, Little Ya, are you… bewitched by this woman?”
Clennina blinked in disbelief, her pupils trembling violently.
“A defeated Saintess, a captured s*ave—how could she become a distinguished guest of the Demon Lord’s castle in just one night?”
The girl in the Lolita dress seemed utterly unable to accept this reality, even beginning to murmur to herself.
“Though it’s quite embarrassing to admit, I must convey a truth to you: it is real.”
Letitia lowered her head, shyly fiddling with the black strands of hair near her temples, her dark red eyes sparkling with the innocent purity of a maiden in love.
“Not only that, but she will also become my wife, and in the future, the Queen of the entire Demon Kingdom.”
The young Demon Lord declared this established fact to the sword-wielding vampire princess, her tone both slightly shy and resolute.
“Huh?”
Clennina wore an expression of utter incomprehension, her brows furrowed into a somewhat crude look.
“She? Your Queen? What kind of joke is this?
What virtues or abilities does this cow possess, who only uses those vulgar mounds of flesh to bewitch men, to become your Queen?”
“Little Ya, have you gone mad?”
Clennina’s voice was calm and chilling, her eyes, like those plunged into an ice cellar, fixed on Letitia with a terrifying gaze.
To Clennina, the words ‘human,’ ‘Saintess,’ and ‘large-chested’ piled up like buffs, dancing provocatively on her personal minefield.
She would rather the Demon Lord find any village girl in the countryside as a consort than see such a woman, who exuded an aura of lecherous allure that made her nauseous, successfully ascend to power.
“Oh?
Compared to Miss Nina’s chest, which is even more barren than a sewer, I believe I am quite attractive.
At the very least, the Demon Lord is utterly captivated by me.”
Noah revealed her usual natural and perfect smile, and she said with a foxy, enchanting tone.
Her smile, however, carried a distinct hint of the victor’s mockery.
“Miss Nina is truly pitiful, watching beautiful girls her age develop more and more perfectly, while she could only tap, tap, tap on her hard ribs, her chest as flat as a field plowed by an ox.
How pathetic.
But sometimes I envy you, Miss Nina, because, you see, you can see your toes at a glance, can’t you?”
“You! You!”
Clennina trembled with fury.
Her hand on the sword hilt shook uncontrollably, her small fists clenched tightly; had she not been in front of Letitia, she might have stomped her feet twice in frustration.
“You ill-mannered woman, good for nothing but your chest!
I tell you, I will absolutely not allow you to become Little Ya’s Queen!”
“Rather than letting you be Little Ya’s consort, why don’t I…”
Her furious words abruptly halted, much like a car slamming on its brakes mid-race; both the smiling Noah and the expressionless Letitia gazed at her with expressions of mild surprise.
“In, in any case!”
Clennina’s face flushed crimson as she pondered for a few seconds, still unable to formulate a proper ‘in any case’.
She glared fiercely at Letitia beside her, pressing a hand against her utterly flat chest, and demanded loudly:
“Little Ya! Between my chest and that woman’s chest, which do you prefer?”
“?”
This single question not only dumbfounded Letitia but also left Noah utterly speechless.
“Is it possible that this is the only thing you’ve ever truly cared about?”
For the first time ever, Noah looked directly at Clennina.
However, her gaze was filled with the benevolent compassion and pity one might show a simpleton.
“Y-yes, is that not allowed?”
A flustered Clennina couldn’t care less about the implications; having ridden the tiger, she might as well see it through.
“Nina.”
The usually quiet Letitia slowly began to speak.
In all her life as a vampire, Clennina had never heard such a tender tone from her.
“If you were to ask this question of a young man, you might receive a different answer.
However…”
Letitia lowered her head, gently touching her own chest—a ‘large cup’ perhaps, though not quite the ‘extra-large’ of Noah’s.
“If you ask me, there is only one answer.”
