PC FPS games of the past had scenario modes.

You know, the kind of mode where you experience the game’s background story and narrative like a movie in single-player. World War was a legendary company in this area, famous for their storytelling and event scenes.

However, with the advent of virtual reality, World War’s advantages faded. This was because creating scenario, or story modes, became unexpectedly more difficult.

In the past, it was simple: restrict the user’s control and play the event scene. But now, such directing is considered ‘boring’ and ‘stale’.

With the arrival of the virtual reality era, users’ desire to not just watch movie-like scenes but to create them with their own hands erupted.

Naturally, that was an incredibly difficult task.
