Chapter 6: A Shower’s Startling Revelation

“So, listen, once we get back to the dorm, don’t stay at the drinking party. Go to your room and rest, ‘alone’.”

For a moment, his typically impassive face subtly stirred.

‘Such a method existed…’ Jung Ban-ri mumbled, as if struck by a profound realization. Persuasion successful.

“Right, it’s a good method, isn’t it? So, you’ll go in and sleep immediately?”

Despite showing a flicker of emotion, Jung Ban-ri did not immediately agree. In-tae continued speaking, aiming to alleviate his burden.

“Don’t mind the older guys who keep forcing drinks on you. If anyone says anything, I’ll tell them I’ll drink double your share.”

“……”

“You trust your hyung, right?” In-tae thumped his chest confidently. Having said so much, he expected Jung Ban-ri to agree, yet the younger man still offered no firm answer.

What else could be bothering him? As In-tae pondered, a thought suddenly struck him.

“Ah, right. Ye-eun! I’ll tell Ye-eun that today isn’t a good day, and we’ll drink some other time. That way, it’s not breaking a promise.”

Finally, Jung Ban-ri’s lips parted. They twitched as if to speak, then curved into a soft arc. Even knowing it was merely a false smile of agreement, In-tae reciprocated with a joyful grin.

“Shall we head in, then? The alcohol calls to me.”

His bold declaration wasn’t solely to reassure Jung Ban-ri. In-tae was already plotting a bloody revenge in his mind.

First, to identify the culprit who had upset Jung Ban-ri, he would gather all suspicious individuals, ply them with drinks, and force them to confess.

Once the perpetrator was found, they would be made to drink a full bucket of alcohol. If, even then, the culprit remained unknown, In-tae vowed to knock out every single person, ensuring no one could even approach Ban-ri.

It was a simple, yet perfect, plan.

While he had often lost consciousness from drinking when he first entered college (reportedly clinging to Jung Ban-ri and drunkenly proclaiming him beautiful each time), In-tae had made remarkable progress in half a year.

Indeed, when it came to alcohol tolerance, he was second to none. His physical stamina, naturally, was beyond question.

“Alright, let’s go.”

At Ban-ri’s words, In-tae hastened his steps towards the pension, but Jung Ban-ri headed in the opposite direction.

‘…Huh?’

“Let’s hurry, In-tae.” The monster urged, striding purposefully into the darkness.

***

The makeshift shower building was divided equally into women’s and men’s sections. It consisted of several shower stalls without partitions, along with attached restrooms.

Jung Ban-ri headed towards the showers without hesitation.

Since people had flocked there to shower after the foot volleyball match earlier in the day, coarse sand still littered the floor. In-tae scuffed at the sand with his sneakers, a frown creasing his face.

He recalled one crazy guy, the last to shower, who seemed to have urinated while washing.

“But it’s a bit dirty in here. Wouldn’t it be better to shower in the room? I’ll go in first and clean up a bit. Then you can shower—”

In-tae cut off his words and spun halfway around. Jung Ban-ri had his hand on his pants, as if about to strip immediately.

In-tae was well aware of Jung Ban-ri’s dislikes. Noise and unsanitary conditions, being unavoidable in daily life, he would tolerate, feigning indifference.

Physical touch, however, seemed even more unpleasant to him, as he subtly evaded it. And among these, one thing he absolutely never did was expose his body.

Even In-tae, who had lived with him for over ten years and was intimately involved with him, had never seen him naked.

‘Is he perhaps drunk? He seems perfectly fine, though…’

He was certainly less cautious today. Earlier, he had even made an uncharacteristic joke in front of Ye-eun, suggesting they go to the restroom together.

“I’ll just… go wait outside.”

In-tae pulled the door, not even glancing at Ban-ri.

*Thud—*

Yet, before the door could open even a hand’s breadth, it slammed shut again. A harsh sound echoed briefly within the shower room.

In-tae stared blankly at the white hand extended beside his head. Resting on the old, rough door, the unblemished white hand seemed strangely out of place.

“…Jung Ban-ri?”

He called Jung Ban-ri’s name without immediately turning around. He was too close to the man who disliked being touched by others.

“Why are you—”

He stopped turning his head slowly. A breath brushed against his ear. A hot shiver ran over his earlobe. He couldn’t tell if Jung Ban-ri’s exhaled air was warm or if his own ear was burning.

He couldn’t dwell on it for long. What followed, piercing his ear, was a metallic sound. The sound of a zipper being lowered.

He doubted his own ears. Was Jung Ban-ri so desperate to wash something off that he couldn’t wait? Had he slammed the door shut because In-tae had tried to open it, unaware he was undressing? But this was no time for such questions.

The mere thought of Jung Ban-ri undressing behind him made his body react first. His heart pounded, and he instinctively reined in his gaze, preventing it from turning backward.

Even if Jung Ban-ri was in such a hurry that he was performing a striptease, In-tae couldn’t just gawk, thinking, ‘Oh, now’s my chance!’ He knew how much the man detested such things.

‘I need to be outside,’ In-tae thought. He rubbed his tingling earlobe against his shoulder and spoke.

“Looks like you’re in quite a hurry, pal.”

“A little.”

“Right. Got it.”

He pulled the doorknob, intending to open the door just enough to slip out. But the door remained stubbornly shut, as if nailed in place. ‘What the…?’

As he applied a little more force to his grip, he noticed the prominent veins on the back of the hand in front of him. Jung Ban-ri was pushing the door.

In-tae knew that this slender hand possessed unexpected strength. He had even felt a secret pride in being the only one aware of this.

“Hey, I wasn’t trying to open the door, but there’s no lock here.”

“It’s fine.”

“Still, it would be safer if I quickly went out and stood guard—”

“That won’t do.”

Did he want to shower even a second sooner? How long would it take to go outside? Regardless, In-tae didn’t want to argue with someone who was in such a hurry. He would simply have to control his gaze.

“Oh, right… Should I close my eyes?”

“Do as you wish.”

‘Do as I wish? Does that mean I can watch?’ He scoffed inwardly. Given that Jung Ban-ri was saying things he wouldn’t normally say, he must indeed be drunk.

In that case, this sober hyung would just have to close his eyes. The moment he was about to lower his eyelids, something nudged his hip. His eyes, which had been narrowing, now widened considerably.

This was yet another inhuman facet of Jung Ban-ri. Following his beautiful countenance, brilliant mind, and icy heart… came this monstrous part.

‘But for *this* to appear now, it makes no sense…’

His mind gave up trying to comprehend the situation. In-tae slowly turned his body, intending to confirm with his own eyes.

Even then, Jung Ban-ri did not move back, forcing In-tae to shift awkwardly, pressed against the door. Once they were face to face, In-tae immediately lowered his gaze.

The man’s pants zipper was open, revealing black briefs underneath. And within the thin fabric, the silhouette of a heavy, prominent penis was visible.

While his nether regions, like their owner, were remarkably long and distinctly shaped, for the outline to be so clear…

“Did you change your mind?”

“…Huh?” Distracted by the surreal sight, the man’s words didn’t register.

“We’re doing it with your eyes open.”

“Doing what with my eyes—” He stopped, about to ask blankly. Had the man’s crotch just… twitched?

He blinked his eyes wide, as if trying to clear his vision. It wasn’t a close-up, yet it seemed to grow strangely larger and larger.

The elastic fabric swelled as if about to burst. Then, a white hand reached down, impatiently tugging at the briefs, and a thick penis emerged. He now forgot even to blink.

‘Why? Is he, by any chance, about to… relieve himself here?’

It was an insane thought. Jung Ban-ri, of all people, would never. But then, what other reason could there be for him to open his fly here?

“Are you… going to… piss here?” The crude question stammered out, without any thought of softening it. He couldn’t believe the words that had just left his own mouth.

Jung Ban-ri wouldn’t commit such an offense. Strictly speaking, it might not be a crime, but it was certainly a vulgar act.

“Yes.”

The reply was so absurdly simple it was baffling.

“…W-well, I guess if no one’s watching, it’s… it’s fine, I guess.”

Though flustered, he mumbled on, trying not to embarrass the man.

In truth, while it was surprising coming from Jung Ban-ri, drunken people secretly relieving themselves in various places was quite common. There had even been one such guy in the shower earlier.

“Actually, earlier, Dong-ju hyung also—”

“In-tae. Stop talking about other people.”

The brutally short reply was sharp as a knife. It was understandable. The man disliked not only touching dirty things but also seeing and hearing them. But if that was the case, what he was about to do…

“Because I can’t hold back.”

In-tae lifted his gaze, staring into Jung Ban-ri’s dark eyes, which seemed to shimmer. He had been utterly wrong. Jung Ban-ri hadn’t undressed to shower. And certainly not to urinate.

For Jung Ban-ri to open his fly in front of him, telling him to keep his eyes open or closed as he wished, the reason could only be…

“Jung Ban-ri, are you really… here…?”

The only possibility surfaced, but he couldn’t voice it immediately. This made no sense. It was utterly illogical… yet it was the only remaining possibility.

“…asking me to suck it?”

Jung Ban-ri did not deny it.

***

‘Jung Ban-ri is asking for oral s*x in the shower room during an MT.’

A comet colliding with the opposite side of the Earth wouldn’t have startled him as much.

Of course, Jung Ban-ri lacked human morality or a sense of shame, so there would be no psychological mechanism to deter him from having s*x outdoors like this.

Even so, he knew better than anyone the social convention that one shouldn’t couple like an animal anytime, anywhere.

Even granting a hundred concessions, even if having s*x in such a shower room was hard to define as a clear ‘criminal act’ and was tacitly condoned or practiced under the premise of not harming others… Jung Ban-ri had no ‘particular’ reason to do such a thing.

The reason people risked having s*x in public was usually for the thrilling excitement, a sense of transgression, or greater sexual gratification. However, Jung Ban-ri lacked such ‘pleasure’.

‘God is generous, always bestowing a minimum of mercy even upon the worst monsters. After all, having clothed them in human skin with his own hands, he must have provided a way for them to live humanly.’

These words, spoken by Jung Ban-ri’s maternal grandfather when he revealed that Jung Ban-ri was a psychopath, were always etched in In-tae’s mind.
