Not long after…

Inside the quiet, spacious pavilion, Su Muxue was giving her son a gynecological examination.

Meanwhile, Su Yun, the unfortunate subject, stood before Su Muxue, her pretty face flushed with embarrassment, utterly at a loss as she underwent the examination.

‘Just a moment ago, I was a man. How did I turn into a girl just by wearing a dress? This is beyond ridiculous!’

“Mother, are you finished? Have you noticed any problems? I’m so mortified,” Su Yun pleaded, her expression a picture of shyness, crimson like a monkey’s backside.

After completing her examination of Su Yun, Su Muxue raised her hands and covered her beautiful face, looking as though she might lose her mind.

“Ah… it’s real, it’s all real! How could this happen? My precious son, this, this is all my fault for harming you. I, I shouldn’t have trusted that pervert! It’s one thing for him to be a pervert to me, but how could he be such a pervert to his own child?” Su Muxue exclaimed, on the verge of a breakdown.

Though she had previously wished Su Yun were a girl, thinking they could be closer, now that her son had become a daughter, she suddenly felt that having a son was better after all.

Su Yun watched her beautiful mother curse a “pervert” relentlessly, realizing this “pervert” must surely be a person.

“Mother, who is this ‘pervert’ you keep mentioning? It wouldn’t happen to be that cheap father I’ve never met, would it?” Su Yun asked, her voice laced with suspicion.

Uttering the words “that pervert” from Su Yun’s own mouth only made Su Muxue even more agitated.

“Who else could it be but him? Damn it, that pervert must have done this on purpose! He never told me when he gave me this dress that it had the function of turning a son into a daughter. It infuriates me! The next time I see him, I’m going to bite him to death!” Su Muxue declared, gritting her teeth.

Watching her adorable mother explode in anger, Su Yun couldn’t help but mutter to herself.

‘Tsk tsk, even Mom’s tantrums are cute. But why do I feel like Mom harbors such deep resentment towards my unseen father? How exactly did they meet, and how did they end up together? I’m suddenly very curious.’

Su Yun’s mind wandered, conjuring many possibilities.

She imagined scenarios like a young maiden getting injured while traveling, only to be rescued by a handsome man, then falling in love at first sight and embarking on a passionate romance.

Su Yun had already calmed down. Her earlier excitement had faded, leaving only a sense of regret after she collected herself.

Her ‘brother’ had bid farewell before she even had a chance to properly utilize him, which was, frankly, a bit depressing.

However, she was now more eager to uncover one particular mystery: who exactly was her father?

“Mother, who exactly is Father? Why are you so unwilling to tell me? I’ve been messed up like this because of him; are you still going to keep his secret?” Su Yun pressed.

Upon hearing this, Su Muxue became conflicted once more, and intensely so.

“I? He, this, son, it’s truly not that Mother doesn’t want to tell you, but your so-called father’s identity is both very special and very awkward. I’m afraid you won’t be able to handle it. Besides, I still don’t understand if he even counts as your father,” Su Muxue rambled, her words utterly perplexing.

Su Yun was instantly filled with questions again. To her, this should have been a straightforward matter, so why was Su Muxue making it so complicated?

Unless there was some hidden truth she wasn’t aware of.

Su Yun’s eyes darted about. She decided to stage a little act of provocation. She knew her beautiful, adorable mother’s softhearted nature all too well.

And so, Su Yun began.

“Ah… I don’t want to live anymore! How did I, a perfectly good man, suddenly turn into a woman? How can I ever face anyone again? Everyone who knows me will probably think I’m a pervert! What even am I? I don’t even know my own origins! Just let me die…” Su Yun suddenly burst into a dramatic fit.

Seeing her son suddenly act this way, Su Muxue was startled. She quickly embraced Su Yun, trying to soothe her.

“Son, son, calm down! Even though you’ve become a girl, you are still the most important person in Mother’s heart. At worst, Mother will just treat you as a girl from now on. Don’t worry, Mother won’t dislike you just because you’ve turned into a girl,” Su Muxue anxiously persuaded, genuinely fearing her son might do something rash.

Su Yun, observing her mother’s panic, knew her plan was working.

“No, I won’t live! Mother, let go of me! Just let me bash my head against something and end this miserable life! What’s the point of living if a person doesn’t even know their own origins?” Su Yun cried, struggling and shouting all the while.

Under Su Yun’s relentless assault of weeping, shouting, and feigned threats, Su Muxue finally conceded. Despite having lived for over a hundred years, most of her time had been spent in the cultivation world, with very little exposure to worldly affairs, so her emotional maturity was not particularly high.

“Alright, alright, fine, I’ll tell you! But you must promise me something first. Once you know your origins, you must be open-minded and not mock me,” Su Muxue reluctantly agreed under Su Yun’s coercion.

Seeing this, Su Yun gradually quieted down, her theatrics ceasing.

“Good, I promise,” Su Yun agreed without hesitation.

Su Muxue, witnessing Su Yun’s swift change of demeanor, realized she had fallen for her daughter’s ploy.

She could only glare at Su Yun with a harmless, exasperated look.

Su Yun, in response, stuck out her tongue and giggled playfully.

“Sigh! This matter is quite complicated. It’s like this, I’ll have to start from the beginning,” Su Muxue began, preparing to tell her story.

But just as she opened her mouth, Su Yun quickly interrupted her.

“Mother, wait! Let me change my clothes first. This outfit, without a slip or underwear, is a bit… too much,” Su Yun said.

Indeed, Su Yun was still wearing that red dress, which, being made of sheer silk, was semi-transparent. Her delicate, youthful figure shimmered tantalizingly beneath the red fabric, making it rather alluring.

Once she calmed down, Su Muxue also noticed her unfortunate daughter’s attire, and her own face flushed crimson.

“This, it does seem a little strange, doesn’t it?” Su Muxue said awkwardly.

Su Yun quickly grabbed the clothes lying on the bedside, intending to change. But the moment she picked up her original male attire, she was utterly bewildered, for she discovered her male clothes had suddenly shrunk considerably, making them impossible to wear.

“What? Why have these clothes shrunk so much?” Su Yun wondered, scratching her head as she stared at the child-sized garments in her hands.

Su Muxue couldn’t help but chuckle.

“After you became a girl, your body seems to have grown a lot all at once. Look, you’re almost as tall as Mother now,” Su Muxue said, walking over to Su Yun and comparing their heights.

Only then, comparing herself, did Su Yun realize it was a matter of her own growth. Su Muxue was probably around 1.6 meters tall, and now Su Yun was nearly the same, which meant she, too, was around 1.6 meters. Before, as a male, Su Yun had only been about 1.4 to 1.5 meters.

“Then, what should I do? I have nothing to wear!” Su Yun exclaimed, her head throbbing.

Su Muxue looked at her precious daughter’s distressed expression. After a moment of thought, she offered a suggestion.

“Eh? Son, would you, would you like to try on my clothes? Your height is similar to mine, so it shouldn’t be a problem,” Su Muxue said, a hint of shyness in her voice.

Having her son wear her clothes was certainly a somewhat embarrassing matter.

“Ah? I, Mother, I’m not mentally prepared yet! I don’t want to wear women’s clothes. Can’t you get me a set of men’s clothes?” Su Yun requested.

Su Muxue thought for a moment, then quickly opened her storage ring and searched inside. Lo and behold, there was indeed a set of white male clothing.

“Found it! When Mother was younger and traveled, I once disguised myself as a man. Here,” Su Muxue said, handing the entire set of men’s clothes to Su Yun.

Su Yun breathed a sigh of relief and reached out to take the clothes. But the instant Su Yun’s hand touched the male attire, the clothes suddenly burst into flames with a whoosh.

“Ah?” Su Muxue cried out, instinctively letting go.

The mother and daughter could only stare, dumbfounded, as the clothes fell to the ground and turned to ashes.

They were both bewildered once more.

“This? What does this mean? The clothes spontaneously combusted?” Su Yun was utterly confused.

This was Su Muxue’s only set of men’s clothes; there wasn’t another.

But even as they remained in a state of bewilderment, the revealing red dress on Su Yun’s body began to act up again.

It suddenly flared with dazzling golden-red light, releasing a peculiar energy.

This energy spread across Su Yun’s body, then coalesced into underwear, a slip, shoes, and even accessories. Her hairstyle was also transformed by this power.

In an instant, Su Yun, who had been disheveled and clad in a somewhat suggestive outfit, was transformed into a noble young lady, or perhaps a princess, adorned in a red dress with golden patterns, exuding an air of elegance and a touch of the ethereal.

And that wasn’t all; even more interesting events followed.
