Chapter 58: The Yin-Yang Twin Blossom Art

Under Bai Mengqi’s gentle ministrations, Zi Yanran’s ragged breathing, initially disrupted by shock, gradually steadied.

Once her emotions had completely settled, a fresh wave of astonishment welled within her eyes.

Slowly, she removed Bai Mengqi’s small hand, which had been gently covering her mouth. With an expression of utter disbelief, she once again scrutinized the Great Immortaless before her.

“This… are you the immortal Mengqi often speaks of? Heavens, you and Mengqi look incredibly alike! If Mengqi were to don a white ancient costume, she would be your spitting image!” Zi Yanran exclaimed, unable to contain her astonishment after thoroughly comparing the two.

The Great Immortaless lightly finger-combed her smooth, silver hair, a hint of haughty pride gracing her lips. “How could we be the same? I am a true celestial immortal from beyond the heavens. How could that little novice compare to me? My unique aura is something she simply doesn’t possess!”

The Great Immortaless’s conceited words instantly pulled Zi Yanran back from her state of shock.

Reflecting on Bai Mengqi’s usual demeanor, Zi Yanran couldn’t help but nod inwardly. ‘Indeed, Bai Mengqi’s personality is distinctly different from the Great Immortaless; they merely share identical appearances.’

With this thought, a sudden curiosity sparked within Zi Yanran. “Um… Immortal, may I touch you?” she tentatively inquired.

The Great Immortaless instantly saw through Zi Yanran’s thoughts, knowing she likely mistook her for some eerie female ghost.

With a slight upturn of her lips, the Great Immortaless preempted, “You cannot touch me. However, I am not some ghostly apparition, you know. Besides, have you ever seen a female ghost as beautiful as I am?”

Upon hearing this, Zi Yanran nodded slightly. Though still somewhat unconvinced, her actions were swift. Mustering her courage, she reached out, extending her hand towards the Great Immortaless.

To her astonishment, her hand passed directly through the Great Immortaless’s body, as if the immortal were even more ethereal than a soul at that moment.

“This… she’s right here before me, yet I can’t touch her no matter what. How utterly bizarre!” Zi Yanran waved her hand through the air once more, but still, she couldn’t make contact with even a fraction of the Great Immortaless. She could only give up in resignation.

The Great Immortaless chuckled at her attempt, a hint of playfulness in her tone. “Don’t waste your energy. You shouldn’t even be able to see me. Hey! Little girl, are you interested in cultivating immortality?”

The Great Immortaless’s sudden question left both Zi Yanran and Bai Mengqi momentarily stunned.

Bai Mengqi was the first to react, quickly asking, “Huh? Yanran can cultivate immortality? Didn’t you say that humans in this world couldn’t?”

After a brief moment of surprise, Zi Yanran eagerly inquired, “Me? Can I really?”

The Great Immortaless first shot Bai Mengqi a sidelong glance, then turned to Zi Yanran. “Yes, you can. However, you can only cultivate by drawing power from this girl. I can teach you a cultivation method called the ‘Yin-Yang Twin Blossom Art’.”

Upon hearing the words “cultivation method,” both Zi Yanran and Bai Mengqi couldn’t help but show their curiosity. They eagerly urged the Great Immortaless to explain the art’s function.

However, after the Great Immortaless thoroughly explained the cultivation method and its effects, Bai Mengqi’s reaction was unusually vehement. “What? You want me to be Yanran’s cultivation vessel, for her to absorb power from my body to cultivate? This… this is preposterous!”

Bai Mengqi’s voice instantly rose several decibels. Had she not already used immortal arts to shield the room’s sounds, people outside would surely have heard her outcry.

The Great Immortaless frowned in displeasure, retorting irritably, “Why are you shouting? Don’t worry, I won’t harm you. Besides, you won’t merely be a cultivation vessel. I don’t mind telling you, you two possess a rare Yin-Yang Twin Blossom Body, which is why she was able to get pregnant.”

At this point, the Great Immortaless paused, seemingly organizing her thoughts. A moment later, she continued, “In this world, there exist two people who look completely different, yet whose souls and bodies are remarkably similar. You two are precisely like that. Although your outward appearances differ greatly, your souls and certain physical characteristics are highly compatible. This is why there’s such a strong attraction between you, and why Yanran was able to conceive.”

After listening to the Great Immortaless’s explanation, both Zi Yanran and Bai Mengqi wore expressions of sudden realization.

Zi Yanran looked at Bai Mengqi with even deeper sentiment. “So that’s it. No wonder, whenever I touched Mengqi, I felt an indescribable sense of dependence on her. Even after we became intimate, and despite knowing she might not be a man, I was incredibly infatuated with her, to the point of losing interest in everyone else. I never imagined we had such a profound connection.”

Bai Mengqi also fell silent after hearing this.

If Zi Yanran could truly cultivate and become an immortal through absorbing power from her body, it would undoubtedly be a tremendous blessing.

After all, Zi Yanran was merely a mortal, whose lifespan typically peaked around a hundred years, with most people fortunate to live to seventy or eighty. This meant Zi Yanran had, at most, fifty more years to live.

As for herself? Once she reached the Qi Condensation stage, she would gain two hundred years of life, and the Foundation Establishment stage would grant her five hundred. She certainly didn’t want to see her partner age before her.

With that thought, Bai Mengqi took a deep breath, striving to calm her emotions.

“If that’s truly the case, then I have no objections.”

However, Zi Yanran’s focus at this moment wasn’t on cultivating immortality, but on an entirely different matter.

“Um… after cultivating, will I also become younger?” Zi Yanran asked, her eyes filled with anticipation.

The Great Immortaless paused, then replied, “This cultivation method was originally only meant to absorb power from males. However, you two are special. Moreover, this is inherently a dual cultivation technique. In our world, once a woman loses her primordial yin essence, she can at most maintain the appearance of someone between twenty-five and thirty years old; it’s impossible to revert to a maidenly state.”

These words momentarily disappointed Zi Yanran.

However, upon closer reflection, the age range of twenty-five to thirty was arguably a woman’s most attractive period. At this stage, a woman was fully mature, possessing both youthful vitality and a sophisticated charm. While teenage girls were vibrant and beautiful, they had yet to fully display a woman’s mature allure.

Just then, Bai Mengqi suddenly interjected, “Yanran, I like mature older sisters. You’re already perfect as you are.”

This statement made Zi Yanran look at her in surprise.

Bai Mengqi’s face flushed slightly, but she nodded nonetheless. “Yes, I do prefer more mature women. Those who look too young aren’t within my aesthetic preference.”

With Bai Mengqi having said so, Zi Yanran naturally saw no need to insist further.

“That’s good then. I always thought you found me old, but it turns out you don’t. So, you like the ‘married woman’ type, huh?” Zi Yanran teased.

Upon hearing this, Bai Mengqi lifted her small head and responded earnestly, “What’s wrong with that? Can’t I? I just want to be Cao Cao!”

“Alright, alright, why not? And here I was, deliberately dressing to look younger. So you don’t like that type after all,” Zi Yanran said, amused.

The Great Immortaless watched the two bicker, a look of exasperation mixed with amusement on her face.

“Alright, alright, stop chatting. I’m going to transmit the cultivation method to you now. Of course, you are merely a vessel; the primary cultivator is Yanran.”

Upon hearing this, both women immediately drew closer.

The Great Immortaless instantly transmitted the cultivation method directly into their minds through her divine sense.

As a cultivator herself, Bai Mengqi absorbed the contents of the method very quickly.

However, after she finished reading, her reaction was once again dramatic. “Hey! This cultivation method is too embarrassing! Are you sure this is a cultivation method?”

The content was indeed incredibly embarrassing; to Bai Mengqi, it was practically explicit material.

The Great Immortaless heard her and replied nonchalantly, “In our world, this was originally a cultivation method practiced between husband and wife. I merely modified it slightly, adapting it for two women to cultivate. You should be grateful.”

Bai Mengqi was left speechless by her words.

Zi Yanran, meanwhile, took nearly three minutes to fully digest the contents of the cultivation method.

“Come on, let’s go try it in the bathroom,” Zi Yanran said, her eyes gleaming with interest as she pulled Bai Mengqi up.

“Huh? So soon? I… I haven’t fully absorbed the method’s content yet,” Bai Mengqi stammered, a hint of panic in her voice.

But Zi Yanran seemed unconcerned. She pulled Bai Mengqi directly into the en-suite bathroom of the bedroom.

Such presidential suites typically featured a convenient toilet and bathroom within the bedroom.

The Great Immortaless watched their retreating figures as they entered the bathroom, then chuckled. She transformed into a streak of light and returned to Bai Mengqi’s body.

Soon, the bathroom filled with a hazy mist.

Following the requirements of the cultivation method, the two women shed all inhibitions, facing each other with complete honesty.

They also had to fully open their hearts to each other, allowing their minds and bodies to merge into one, achieving the state of ‘unity of heaven and man’ as described by the Great Immortaless.

“I’m starting now,” Zi Yanran said, her eyes narrowed with a smile.

Her gaze was filled with tenderness and anticipation.

Bai Mengqi, on the other hand, appeared somewhat frightened and nervous.

According to the Great Immortaless’s instructions, she was the one whose essence would be harvested.

If following the orthodox cultivation method, she would be the one practicing the Yin-scroll technique.

“You… you go ahead. I… I’ll try my best to cooperate,” Bai Mengqi said, gritting her teeth.

She understood that if Zi Yanran could truly become a cultivator through this method, she herself would gain more freedom in the future.

“Alright, here I come,” Zi Yanran smiled gently, then softly pulled Bai Mengqi into her embrace.

Her movements were tender and slow, as if she feared disturbing something precious.

Bai Mengqi closed her eyes, allowing herself to completely quiet down. She tried to feel Zi Yanran’s body temperature and breathing, attempting to let her mind and body merge into the moment.

Seeing Bai Mengqi ready, Zi Yanran began her advance.

The two seemed intent on intertwining their very souls.

This was not their first time, so Bai Mengqi was no longer as awkward or resistant as before.

She gradually relaxed, beginning to respond to Zi Yanran.

The core of this cultivation method was essentially six words: relaxation, acceptance, and pleasure.

Only by achieving these three points could their minds and bodies truly merge into one, thereby reaching the state of ‘unity of heaven and man’.

Therefore, mere intimacy alone would certainly not suffice.

The two began to mutually explore each other.

Zi Yanran’s movements were gentle and delicate, as if caressing a precious work of art.

Under Zi Yanran’s tender caresses, Bai Mengqi gradually grew bolder, beginning to initiate her own advances.

The temperature in the bathroom steadily climbed with their interactions, and an indescribable aura permeated the air.

A hazy glow flickered in both Zi Yanran’s and Bai Mengqi’s eyes; they seemed utterly immersed in this wondrous world.

Their breathing quickened, and they held each other tightly, as if trying to meld their bodies together.

Droplets of water slid down the glass bathtub, making crisp sounds, yet they did not disturb the lovers engrossed in their cultivation.

However, just as they were about to proceed to the final step, Bai Mengqi suddenly shrieked.

“No, it’s too embarrassing! I… I can’t accept it yet.”

She gently pushed Zi Yanran away, covering her face as she fled the bathroom.

Zi Yanran stood frozen, watching Bai Mengqi’s panicked retreat, momentarily at a loss. She looked down at her right hand, which still held the posture from when she had just touched Bai Mengqi. She had only just made contact, yet Bai Mengqi’s reaction was surprisingly intense.

Zi Yanran shook her head helplessly, picking up a bath towel to dry herself. Then, she dressed and walked out of the bathroom, only to find Bai Mengqi huddled in the ice silk duvet, a wronged expression on her face, her body still trembling slightly.

“So sensitive. She can’t handle just a touch,” Zi Yanran complained.

Bai Mengqi immediately poked her head out from under the covers. “What do you know? I used to have a ‘little brother’! You can’t understand the feeling of your bird flying away.”

Zi Yanran instantly understood Bai Mengqi’s meaning, her face flushing crimson.

“You’re truly shameless when you speak. Fine, I’ll let you off the hook today. Once I’ve resolved this project, I’ll properly ‘discipline’ you,” Zi Yanran said, not pressing the issue. This place, after all, truly lacked the right atmosphere and mood.
