Kissing Happy was electrifying—almost sweet.
The kind of description you’d find in a romance novel crossed my mind, and I immediately questioned it.
How?
List everything you’ve been through.
Obsession, abduction, imprisonment, conditioning, abuse—
Even gaslighting.
Every single one of those words belonged in a thriller, not a romance.
Yet, against all logic, the sensation spreading through my body was pure devotion.
I didn’t have to think too hard about the reason.
Happy, with an expression befitting a romance protagonist,
was showering me with love—
despite having forced me into the thriller genre.
Slurp.
A disgusting, unsanitary sound invaded my ears, making me wince.
This kiss, filled with love and madness, was revolting.
Happy’s tongue was bold yet deceitful, exploring my mouth like it belonged to her.
Her hands, once mercilessly crushing my chest, now wrapped around my back, squeezing me tight as if she wanted to break my ribs.
“….!”
The pain was no different from abuse.
I forgot that I had ever said, Do whatever you want.
I reached out, trying to push her away.
I couldn’t.
I had abandoned being the Queen of Darkmoon—
There was no way I could overpower the strongest magical girl in the world.
And as she kissed me, refusing to let me breathe,
my hands, which had initially resisted, started trembling.
The trembling only intensified, turning into something shocking.
Not pleasure.
Not excitement.
Not romance.
It was the terror of suffocation.
“Phah—”
“Khk…!”
When our lips finally parted, we both gasped for air,
as if it had been prearranged.
Oxygen, which should have tasted like nothing,
entered my mouth like an overwhelming sweetness.
An incorrect sensation.
And yet,
it was so sweet it felt like it would rot my teeth.
Like an addiction,
I focused on breathing, unable to say a word.
“Yeres… unnie….!”
Was it because of her superior physical abilities?
Unlike me, still gasping for breath,
Happy immediately leaned in again,
her uneven breaths messily tangling in my hair.
“Nngh…!”
Then, she started a new kind of torment.
Instead of using her tongue,
she bit down hard on my upper lip, licking up the blood that trickled out.
The tingling sensation rushing through my body made it impossible to hold back my voice.
“Let me hear more of that.”
Happy was feeling it too.
With the same rush as I was,
she held me even tighter,
pressing another deep, forceful kiss onto my lips.
How many times had we done this?
So many that I lost count.
At that moment,
we had plummeted so far down that there was no longer room for pride or pretense.
We had discarded our humanity,
and the sounds we made were no different from animals.
“Yeres unnie.”
At some point,
Happy called my name in human language.
My lips were soaked with a mixture of saliva and blood—
I didn’t even know whose it was anymore.
“You brought this on yourself.”
She cast a spell, trimming her fingernails down.
Her eyes, brimming with love, madness, and something even filthier, locked onto me.
“So I’m not stopping anymore.”
“Kuhp…! Khhk…!”
The moment she finished speaking,
she shoved her fingers into my mouth without warning.
Her strength forced them past my tongue—
past my throat—
past my gag reflex.
I gagged.
I tried to shut my mouth, moving my jaw,
but her other hand held it firmly in place.
Thankfully, after ten seconds, she pulled them out.
“What… the hell… are you doing…?!”
My throat, forced wide open, let out a violent cough.
The pain was incomparable to the thrill from before.
Tears welled in my eyes.
The oxygen I inhaled was, once again, sickeningly sweet.
“This should be enough, right?”
Happy didn’t care.
She stared at her spit-covered fingers as if they were precious jewels.
Then, with her other hand,
she cast magic to bind me again.
Her gaze slowly dropped—
From my face to my chest.
From my chest to my waist.
From my waist to my stomach.
And then…
“You… you’re not seriously—!”
“Stay still.”
As I forced my legs shut,
the magical restraints tightened.
“I hope there’s blood.”
She looked down at me—
legs spread open,
uttering something truly monstrous.
My hatred burned in my eyes as I glared at her.
She smiled.
With her spit-free hand, she gently caressed me.
“Were you expecting a romantic first time, unnie?
Sorry about that.
But I promise to do my best—
so please, try to enjoy it.”
Enjoy it?
Are you insane?
Do you even realize what you’re saying?
You’re telling me to enjoy being raped?
“Don’t resist.”
I squeezed my eyes shut, bracing for the horror to come.
Then—
BANG! BANG! BANG!
“Park Hyun-seo!
Are you still sleeping?!”
My mother’s voice echoed through the space.
It was the same voice I had heard this morning.
In an instant, the ecstasy on Happy’s face vanished.
She immediately undid her magical girl transformation,
hurriedly running up the stairs.
She was in such a rush
that she dropped the water bottle she had been carrying.
The half-empty 500mL plastic bottle—
used to heal my hands.
“You’re awake now?”
“*What do you mean, ‘no’?
You’re still in your pajamas!*”
At that moment,
the magic binding me disappeared.
I moved immediately to grab the water bottle.
“*I can’t believe you sometimes!
Why do you live like this?!*”
“*Hyun-seo.
Did I raise you to just stand there?
Aren’t you going to explain yourself?*”
SMACK!
“If you did something wrong!”
Smack!
“I taught you to apologize first!”
The chaos from beyond this space didn’t matter to me.
Instead, I was focused on how to use what little water I had as efficiently as possible.
“You really think you can escape with just that?”
The voice belonged to Lunt.
He was floating the discarded underwear and an outfit I had never worn before as he approached me.
“Stop thinking like an idiot and put on some clothes first.”
“Now, tell your mother!
You know what you did wrong, don’t you?”
“…I do.”
“What?”
“I know.”
There was noise mixed into my response.
Worried that my words hadn’t come across properly, I spoke again.
“Snap out of it, Yeres.
You used up all the water in the lake, and Happy still caught you.”
“…Yeah, that happened.”
“Then you already understand, don’t you?
Why would you do that to your mother?!”
“If you get it, then hand over the water.”
“No way!”
“Shh! Keep your voice down.
This space is still connected to the outside.
Can’t you hear what’s happening?”
At Lunt’s warning, I lowered my voice.
Though the venom in my words remained.
“This… is the water I obtained.
I won’t let anyone take it from me.”
“Is that why you did all this?
You’re seriously—Hyun-seo, how long are you going to keep making your mother suffer?”
At his words, I held the bottle tighter against my chest.
After enduring obsession, abduction, confinement, conditioning, abuse, and even gaslighting, my strength was depleted.
I couldn’t grip it as tightly as I wanted.
But my willpower was still strong.
“Trust me.”
“Trust you?
What reason would Mom have to believe you?”
“Me? Trust you?”
“Yes.”
“Why?
Are you planning to switch sides and become a villain’s mascot now?”
“We don’t have time for jokes.
Happy will be back soon.
Either fight her with half a bottle of water or trust me.
Your choice.”
But from the moment I entered this space,
I had been doomed to lose everything.
The noises beyond the barrier were fading.
It wouldn’t be long before Happy returned.
And when she did,
I would have to fight her with barely half a bottle of 500mL plastic-bottled water.
I didn’t need Lunt to tell me I wouldn’t win.
I had already known that.
“…Really?”
“Really.”
In the end, I handed the bottle to Lunt.
He floated it into the air and drifted toward the corner of the room.
“Remember this well.”
He glanced at me before turning to the wall and chanting a spell.
“For Love and Peace.”
A shelf materialized from the wall.
Upon closer inspection, it was actually a cabinet with four drawers.
“In the top drawer, there’s a green gemstone.
I’ll put the water bottle next to it.
Make sure to grab them tomorrow.”
He didn’t show me the gemstone.
Instead, he simply opened the top drawer, placed the bottle inside, and quickly shut it before concealing the cabinet again.
“LHO!?”
“I got a message from the Magical Girl Management Bureau.
Darkmoon is going wild trying to find you.”
“What?”
“By tomorrow, things will escalate into a full-blown war.
One so big that I won’t be able to maintain this space anymore.
When that happens, open the drawer, grab the gemstone and water bottle, and disappear.”
“Wait!
Tell me more!”
Overwhelmed by the flood of information,
I instinctively reached for Lunt, desperate to learn more about what was happening outside.
But I never got the chance.
“Shh.
Happy is coming.”
Step. Step. Step.
The sound of Happy’s footsteps descending the stairs filled my ears.
Lunt and I fell silent,
turning to face the stairs as if nothing had happened.

I sincerely thank PIA1714134382773 for loving Magical Girls Won’t Leave Me Alone.
Since we’re past 15 chapters, I’ve been wondering if I should add a plus version,
but… my miserable writing pace keeps holding me back. 😢
So it’ll probably stay free.
My back problems haven’t improved…
Honestly, it feels like something that will haunt me for life.
Also, I recently started attending job training classes.
It’s a coding boot camp that runs from 9 AM to 9 PM on weekdays,
leaving me with only weekends and my commute to write.
Even when I do write,
I end up deleting so much of it that progress is slow.
I don’t want this novel to crash and burn like my last one,
so I spend a lot of time thinking carefully before finalizing anything.
Maybe I’m just in a slump.
Or maybe I’m just overthinking things.
It’s funny, isn’t it?
Talking about a slump when I haven’t even accomplished much yet.
Hehe.
Thank you for enjoying my novel today as well.
I’ll try to bring the next chapter as soon as possible.
The excitement doesn't stop here! If you enjoyed this, you’ll adore I Became the Protagonist's Attachment Doll. Start reading now!
