Chapter 127: Side Story 5: A Madman’s Compromise

The mere thought was horrifying. Whatever it took, Lee Chae had to prevent a breakup.

“Time, my ass. I’ll show him what happens when a quiet person actually loses their mind.”

Just as he was about to head out, his phone buzzed.

[World’s Most Handsome Honey♥]: I tried to stay away for a day, but I can’t do it. I’m giving up on being an adult.

The moment he saw the message, his anxiety vanished, replaced by a smile.

Honestly, he’s hopeless.

He was smiling so much he was slow to reply. Knowing Lee Chae had read the message but wasn’t responding, Hae-jin followed up immediately.

[World’s Most Handsome Honey♥]: Honey, are you really mad? I’m coming home right now.

Looking at the message, Lee Chae felt ridiculous for having engaged in a power struggle and even more for fearing they might split.

[Lee Chae]: I’m not mad. Come home quickly. I miss you. [World’s Most Handsome Honey♥]: I’m coming fast— [Lee Chae]: Come slowly. I’ll scold you if you speed. [World’s Most Handsome Honey♥]: k

It would take at least thirty minutes to get from the bus stop back to the house. Even though he had been waiting this long, Lee Chae felt increasingly restless as the distance between them closed. After twenty minutes, he couldn’t take it anymore and went down to the parking garage, crouching in front of the elevator to wait. Five minutes later, the roar of an engine echoed as Hae-jin’s car pulled in. Lee Chae stood up and ran toward him.

Normally, he would have asked if Hae-jin had reflected on his behavior, but not today. Through today’s events, he had caught a glimpse of the truth: just as Lee Chae’s life no longer went according to plan, Hae-jin also lived unable to fully indulge in his own deepest impulses.

Hae-jin stepped out of the car, head ducked like a child who had done something wrong. Lee Chae laughed and linked arms with him.

“Welcome home, Honey.”

Hae-jin grinned and stroked Lee Chae’s hair. Right then, Lee Chae decided to say the words he had been keeping bottled up. The parking garage wasn’t the most romantic setting, but he felt he might never find the courage again if he missed this moment.

“I can be a madman, too. If I lived exactly the way I wanted, people would call me crazier than you. Do you know why I hold back?”

“Why?”

“Because if we both act out, things get weird. Someone has to be the restrained one.”

“…”

“So, I want you to stop with the delusions about who loves who more or less.”

“I try not to, but it’s not easy. I know if I obsess, you might get sick of me and run… but my heart won’t do what I tell it to. What am I supposed to do?”

“Who told you not to obsess?”

Hae-jin looked at Lee Chae, completely shocked.

“Have I ever gotten angry at you for being obsessive since we got back together? Think about it. Even today, I wasn’t mad at your obsession. I was mad because you doubted my sincerity when I was trying to find a compromise.”

“I can be obsessive? You won’t get sick of me?”

“Good grief, who’s running away? You’re the one who needs to stop disappearing every time we fight. Do you have any idea how anxious that makes me?”

“Why be anxious when we have the imprint marks?”

“Haa, you really don’t know anything. I trust you, but that doesn’t mean I don’t worry that you’ll get tired of me. I think about what I’d do if you decided you hated me and—mmph.”

His words were cut short. The moment their lips met, Hae-jin began sucking and biting so feverishly there was no stopping him. Lee Chae pushed him back with all his might.

“What are you doing in a parking lot… mmph!”

“Who cares? We’re the only ones who use this building. It’s not like Jae-hyung or Yong-yong are coming down.”

Lee Chae tried to resist, but Hae-jin was relentless. His tongue forced its way past Lee Chae’s parted lips. He tasted like cigarettes. How many did he smoke? If I ask him now and tell him he’s banned for five days per cigarette, will we start fighting again?

Instead, Lee Chae wrapped his arms around Hae-jin’s neck. Hae-jin immediately pressed his body closer, and in an instant, Lee Chae was pushed back into the passenger seat.

“I don’t think we’re done talking.”

“No, we are. I realized I was just overthinking. Why talk when we can understand each other’s hearts by pressing our bodies together?”

Hae-jin muttered the nonsense while biting the area near the imprint mark. His large frame pinned Lee Chae down as he licked and sucked at his face, neck, and chest. Lee Chae felt his reason slipping away.

“L-let’s go upstairs, Honey.”

“Shh, be quiet. I’m so wounded I need some ‘mental guiding’.”

“You can’t even say that with a straight face…”

Hae-jin grabbed the back of Lee Chae’s head and glared as if he were about to devour him. His eyes, usually only seen during combat, flickered with a dangerous red hue. Ah, I’m in trouble.

“You said I could be obsessive, didn’t you? I’m so anxious right now that I need to be inside you. Does that sound like a lie?”

Lee Chae couldn’t say anything except shake his head. He had always thought he was the one giving in, but perhaps Hae-jin had been the one showing a lot of restraint all along.

“No, I know it’s not a lie. But Hyung, we have a big meeting tomorrow…”

“So? Do you want me to be so pissed off that I ruin the whole thing?”

“That’s not it… It’s just that it’ll be hard for me to sit for a long time.”

“Then take a day off. What’s the problem?”

Lee Chae felt dizzy at the fact that the CEO—who was about to sign a contract tomorrow—was offering his manager a day off. The urge to ask if he needed to be slapped back to his senses reached the tip of his tongue, but he held it back. Today was a day for forgiveness, and he had been just as anxious about losing Hae-jin.

Lee Chae peeked at Hae-jin. His eyes were still bloodshot; he clearly wasn’t going to yield.

“You know I’m not giving up. Just open up.”

To keep Hae-jin from going completely wild, Lee Chae gripped his shoulders firmly, gave him a deep kiss, and then slid his head downward. A moan of excited anticipation escaped Hae-jin.

“We did it yesterday, so satisfy yourself with this today.”

“…Yes, sir.”

“f*ck, you’re only obedient at times like this.”

“I just love it when you swear while we’re getting it on.”

“You pervert.”

Lee Chae sighed and unzipped him. The member sprang out immediately, brushing against his cheek. Hae-jin’s laughter rumbled above him. Lee Chae glared at the prominent organ as if in a staring contest before taking a deep breath.

I will never get used to the size of this thing.

Lee Chae licked his own lips to prevent them from tearing and looked up at Hae-jin.

“Are you licking your lips because my ‘thing’ looks tasty?”

“Be quiet. I’m trying to concen—mph!”

Hae-jin’s hand, which had been stroking his hair, suddenly pressed his head down. The length forced its way mercilessly into his narrow mouth. Usually, Hae-jin was patient and considerate during this, but today, he had no such intention. He was an Esper weak to his own lust, and after a fight and a few days of abstinence, he tended to lose control.

“Haa…”

The organ ravaged every corner of his mouth. It poked violently from his tongue to the roof of his mouth and the sensitive inner cheeks before sliding deep into his throat. Lee Chae felt his breath hitch until tears pricked his eyes. He slapped Hae-jin’s thigh, and only then did the man withdraw slightly.

Lee Chae coughed uncontrollably. He looked up with his most pitiful expression, but Hae-jin ignored it. Or rather, seeing that expression only seemed to turn him on more, as he breathed heavily with a predatory glint in his eyes. Lee Chae quickly ducked his head.

Nothing for it. Let’s just finish this fast.

He took the length into his mouth and moved his tongue and head rhythmically. He licked and sucked from the leaking glans down to the base. Every time his teeth grazed the surface, Hae-jin’s thighs jerked. Saliva ran down the corners of his mouth, but he didn’t even have time to wipe it.

“Haa…”

Pretending to lick the side, Lee Chae looked up. Hae-jin had his head tilted back, a look of pure ecstasy on his face. His Adam’s apple bobbed sexily. Lee Chae increased his speed.

“Ah, ah, Jung Lee Chae.”

Hae-jin groaned his name and tugged on Lee Chae’s hair. Their eyes met while Lee Chae still had him in his mouth. Embarrassed, Lee Chae tried to look away, but Hae-jin redirected him. Hae-jin’s moans became thicker and more primal. Just hearing those sounds made Lee Chae’s own body swell to the point of bursting.

“Ugh, ha, ah…”

When Lee Chae reached down to stroke himself, Hae-jin stopped moaning and smirked. As the pace quickened, the member hit the back of his throat more frequently.

Then, suddenly, Hae-jin pulled out. Lee Chae looked up, gasping for air. He was so close to finishing him off; he couldn’t understand why he stopped.

“It would be a waste to come now. I want to put it inside right away… but you hate doing it in the car.”

Lee Chae blinked. Of course I do. Do I really have to say it?

Reading his face, Hae-jin laughed. “Then choose. Option one: we do it in the car. Option two: we go upstairs at light speed and do it in bed.”

“Wait, that wasn’t the deal! You said if I used my mouth, we wouldn’t do the rest.”

“When did I say that? Besides, I haven’t finished yet.”

“Haa, f*ck. I was a fool to trust you.”

Hae-jin laughed like a true pervert and squeezed Lee Chae’s groin.

“Look at your state. Can you really hold back? I’m showing incredible restraint just by not ravishing you right here. Don’t you know that?”

“…Not here.”

“Yes, sir!”

Hae-jin answered energetically, fixed his clothes, and practically leaped out of the car. Lee Chae followed, his ears bright red. Hae-jin was already ahead, pressing the elevator button as if he were trying to break it. Seeing him like that, Lee Chae couldn’t help but laugh.
