Chapter 14: The Shameless Vixen and the Connoisseur’s Gaze

Ellis gazed at the array of sensual intimate apparel in red, purple, and black. Biting her lip, she ultimately decided to try on a red one first.

Though she had never worn such garments herself, Ellis was intimately familiar with the act of removing them, and thus possessed a surprising understanding of their intricacies.

The mere thought immediately soured Ellis’s mood. Her ‘tools for the job’ were gone, and now she was forced to don women’s intimate apparel. ‘What kind of wretched situation is this?’

After a considerable effort, Ellis finally finished dressing, only to be confronted with a profound dilemma. Though the reflection in the mirror was undeniably pleasing, the mere thought of stepping out to show Larry ignited a furious blush within her.

Taking several deep breaths, Ellis widened her eyes. With a resolute bite of her lip, she pulled open the fitting room door and strode out.

Fortunately, the fitting room was an interior space, typically inaccessible to anyone other than close friends or family. Thus, Larry remained her sole audience.

Larry gazed, utterly captivated, at the alluring beauty before him. The red intimate apparel clung to Ellis’s form, revealing glimpses of her figure, subtly veiled yet undeniably enticing, conveying a shy modesty.

Her skin was as fair as pearls, her physique delicate and translucent, and her expression a mix of shyness and deference.

“Absolutely stunning!”

Larry gave a thumbs-up, unable to restrain his praise.

At his words, Ellis bristled instantly. She glared at him, seething, “You chose these to satisfy your own perverse desires, didn’t you?!”

Larry immediately waved his hands in protest. “Ellis, please do not casually insult the reputation of a connoisseur. I selected these pieces purely out of public-mindedness to help you. However, I truly never imagined such a perfect outcome.”

As he spoke, Larry continued to appraise Ellis with his so-called ‘connoisseur’s eye,’ scanning her up and down. ‘What a shame,’ he sighed inwardly. ‘Why must she be my brother?’

He had felt a stirring in his heart, and he had even given away the ‘first time’ he had prepared for his girlfriend. Why, then, was this person an un-conquerable character?

Ellis felt Larry’s gaze growing increasingly perverted. Instinctively, she hugged her chest with her arms and asked coldly, “Dare I ask, Master Larry, are you still looking at me with the eye of a connoisseur?”

Larry guiltily averted his gaze, whistling nonchalantly. “Of course.”

However, in twisting his head, Larry inadvertently locked eyes with a Japanese-style beauty.

Ellis, perplexed by Larry’s sudden petrified stillness, strode forward. She followed his line of sight and, upon seeing what he saw, indeed discovered an unexpected individual.

“Meixia?!”

Ellis hadn’t expected to encounter her former teammates here, especially since they had run quite far away.

“How, how, how utterly shameless!”

Meixia’s face flushed crimson as she exclaimed, seeing Ellis in nothing but her intimate apparel.

The proprietress rushed over from behind, grabbing Meixia’s hand and pulling her towards the exit.

“Guest, this room is occupied. You cannot enter freely. My apologies, both of you, I’ll take her away immediately.”

Meixia resisted stubbornly. “No, I absolutely cannot leave! I can’t let Larry be snatched away by this vixen!”

The proprietress paused, realizing they knew each other, and that this was a complicated love triangle. She instantly found herself in a difficult position.

In 0.1 seconds, Ellis understood who Meixia was referring to as the ‘vixen,’ and a surge of indignant shame washed over her.

She had fallen to this pathetic state largely due to these foolish women. If not for their jealous squabbles leading to the collapse of the Demon King’s city, preventing the Demon King from being properly vanquished as planned, she wouldn’t have met this fate.

‘No, I must retaliate.’

Ellis never held grudges; she always sought immediate retribution.

Her icy gaze shifted to Larry. What this woman cared about most was successfully ‘conquering’ Larry, an S-rank adventurer, handsome, cheerful, and righteous—the perfect husband (at least, in Meixia’s eyes).

‘Excellent. He’ll do.’

Larry felt the hostile gaze from Ellis and immediately shivered. He asked uneasily, “May I ask what you intend to do?”

“Just cooperate obediently!”

Ellis mumbled softly. Then, without giving Larry a chance to refuse, she embraced him in her current state, asking in a soft, cooing voice, “Larry, are these the crazy women my brother mentioned?”

Meixia violently shook off the proprietress and rushed over, attempting to pry Ellis off Larry. “Ahhh, you shameless woman, what are you forcing Larry to do?! Get off him now!”

Ellis, having swiftly buffed herself, began to wrestle with Meixia, all the while provoking her. “You’re the vixen, you’re the shameless one! Who do you think you are to Larry, and who do you think I am?”

To cling to Larry, Ellis tightened her embrace, completely disregarding the predicament he was in.

‘Do you think this is comfortable?’ Ellis’s body was soft, but her strength was anything but. At this moment, she could snap a steel bar with her grip.

“No, both of you, calm down. And Ellis, I can barely breathe!”

However, the two women’s argument left no room for Larry to interject. Meixia retorted fiercely, “I’ve been Larry’s partner, sharing hardships for a long time! Of course, I have the right to stop my partner from going astray!”

A cold glint flashed in Ellis’s eyes. ‘A partner who’s shared hardships for many years? How laughable. You forced my hand!’

“I’ve been destined to spend my life with Larry since childhood! Our parents have even met! And we’ve slept in the same bed!”

Ellis’s voice was undeniably loud, instantly petrifying both Larry and Meixia.

Ellis, meanwhile, was brimming with smug satisfaction, watching the two simpletons instantly jump to conclusions.

‘Destined to spend their lives together’ merely referred to Ellis and Larry’s childhood pact to be lifelong best friends. Their parents meeting was a given—neighbors were bound to see each other. And as for two grown men sleeping in the same bed in both their past and present lives? When their parents chatted as children, they often left them on the same bed.

However, Ellis grew a little too complacent, completely failing to notice that Meixia’s hand, due to her overwhelming shock, had drooped downwards and brushed against the bandage of the bra. This material could not withstand such a pull, and with a snap, it broke.

Ellis: “…”

The already flimsy fabric floated to the ground, revealing the full glory of her pristine peaks.

Larry and Meixia reacted in starkly different ways.

Larry’s nose began to bleed, dripping steadily. Despite having seen this sight twice before, this third encounter still overwhelmed his senses.

Meixia, meanwhile, assessed Ellis’s size and shape. ‘Hmm, it’s not as large as mine, but the shape is definitely superior.’

Flames erupted in Ellis’s eyes, and a chilling black aura, as if from the depths of hell, began to emanate from her.

“Both of you, you’ve truly outdone yourselves!”

Ellis unleashed an attack that even Larry and Meixia, both masters of close combat, couldn’t defend against. Three or four large bumps instantly rose on their heads, and they collapsed to the ground, unconscious.

After dealing with the two, Ellis, maintaining her terrifying demeanor, entered the dressing room. She changed into her own clothes, including the still-intact bra, then emerged and coldly addressed the stunned proprietress, “I’ll take all three. Go tally the bill!”

Ellis’s emotionless words instantly sent a shiver down the proprietress’s spine. She spun around and hurried to calculate the cost of the bras.

After swiftly settling the payment with the proprietress, Ellis dragged the two unconscious figures outside. There, she summoned her magical broom, her flying implement. To the astonished gazes of onlookers, she bound the two to the broom, then mounted it and soared into the sky, vanishing from sight.
