Seeing Xue Hu pull some small yellow objects from the wasp’s corpse, Chen Lili leaned in curiously and asked,
“Didn’t they say we wouldn’t get experience points? Why are you still finding things in there?”
“Eek! Wh-what is that? So, so disgusting, pulled from, from inside a bug!”
Xingxing shrieked upon seeing the yellow substance,
“C-couldn’t be bug, bug poop, could it…?”

Xue Hu, gazing at the ‘honey’ in her hand, wrote on the wooden board,
“Look, Sister Lili, the monsters’ corpses vanished, but this didn’t. That means it’s loot we got from defeating them! This is…”
“Ah! So this is honey! Can there really be honey in this world?”
Before Xue Hu could finish writing, Chen Lili snatched a piece of ‘honey’ to examine it closely.
“Honey—a sweet food. Instantly restores 100 HP upon consumption.”

“Wh-whatever, let’s hurry and fight monsters elsewhere. I, I’m terrified of bugs!”
Xingxing interrupted Xue Hu and Chen Lili’s conversation, speaking with a look of terror,
“Th-there are more, more bugs coming over there! Ah! Run! The bugs are coming again! Ahhh!”
“Xingxing, why do you sometimes stop stuttering when you speak?”
Chen Lili and Xue Hu shook their heads helplessly, following Xingxing deeper into the forest. As she ran, Chen Lili asked curiously,
“Is it because you’re so scared? So scared that you stop stuttering?”
“N-no, I, I don’t normally, don’t normally stutter when I speak…”
Xingxing said as she ran,
“I, I just, just don’t, don’t really know how to, to interact with strangers, th-that’s why I speak haltingly…”
“Is that so? How truly peculiar… Hey, Xingxing, watch out ahead!”
Chen Lili nodded, then suddenly pointed ahead and cried out,
“A monkey is about to ambush you!”
“Huh? A m-monkey?”
Xingxing was momentarily stunned by the words, but Xue Hu reacted swiftly, charging forward and kicking the obstructing monkey to the ground.
“Ow! Ow, ow, ow…”
“Xingxing, are you alright? Are you hurt?”
Chen Lili quickly moved to Xingxing’s side to check on her, while Xingxing, clutching her head, replied,
“N-no, I’m fine, it’s just that I, I don’t know what hit me, but something struck my head. I lost a bit of health, but it’s already fully regenerated.”
“That monkey threw a banana, making you not watch where you were going. Fortunately, it was just a Level 8 monster; it couldn’t kill you.”
Xue Hu, examining the monkey’s corpse, wrote for the other two to see,

Chen Lili took the bright yellow object Xue Hu handed her, and a careful look brought a smile to her face.
“Hey, isn’t this a banana? Sure enough, it’s a monkey monster; they love bananas.”
“Sister Lili, this banana isn’t for eating, you know. It has other uses~”
Xue Hu immediately wrote on the wooden board,
“Take a closer look at its description. I think this might be a type of attack in this game.”
“If bananas aren’t for eating, are they for… using? You little imp, you’re so young, yet you know quite a lot, don’t you?”
Chen Lili, looking intrigued, tapped open the ‘banana’s’ description and read aloud,
“Banana: A favorite food of monkeys, but also a potent weapon. Throwing a banana at an enemy deals 200 damage. Current quantity: 1.”
“Only 200 damage? That’s too weak, isn’t it? And it seems to be a consumable; once used, it’s gone.”
Chen Lili said, looking at the ‘banana’ in her hand with disdain,
“But I suppose that’s also because the monster’s level is too low. If it were a Level 100 monster, maybe it would drop some kind of super weapon that deals 20,000 damage in one hit?”
“20,000 in one hit is far too exaggerated! 2,000 might be possible, but 20,000? How would a boss even be played then?”
Xue Hu rolled her eyes at Chen Lili once more and continued writing,
“The monsters here are too low-level. Not only do they give no experience points, but their drops aren’t useful either. We should press on; after all, time is limited.”
“Hmm, you’re right. You truly are our team’s little strategist!”
“Xingxing, let’s pick up the pace and aim to reach Level 200 soon to catch an Azure Dragon!”
Chen Lili patted Xue Hu’s head, then took Xingxing’s hand and walked deeper into the forest.
“These monsters are too weak; quickly, give us a worthy opponent!”
