Chapter 103: The Mage’s Refill

‘I am a mage. Trust me.’

Ultimately, Eve had given up reasoning. Instead, she chose to directly overpower Xiluo’er physically.

‘It doesn’t matter,’ she thought. ‘Xiluo’er doesn’t understand these things anyway, right? If I say she needs a refill, then she needs a refill.’

If Xiluo’er stopped believing her, Eve could simply spout some magical knowledge that Xiluo’er wouldn’t understand and that was completely unrelated to the matter, just to fool her.

Such was the true worth of a Heroic Mage from the Vanseti Kingdom!

But in reality, Xiluo’er wasn’t truly a loli… or so it seemed.

Xiluo’er understood perfectly. She knew she didn’t need a magic refill right now.

Though not a mage herself, Xiluo’er had Freya’s… well, an alarm system, left within her body.

If she truly needed a magic refill, she would feel it herself.

The problem was, while Xiluo’er knew she didn’t need one, she didn’t dare to tell Eve directly.

So, Xiluo’er could only clutch the bedsheets, cautiously trying to persuade Eve.

“I truly don’t think I need a magic refill, Sister Eve, really. I feel perfectly fine right now.”

Eve nodded, her expression serious and unreadable, before speaking.

“Precisely why you need a magic refill even more. Look, you can’t even sense that there’s a problem with your body, which proves the issue is now extremely severe.”

Xiluo’er: “?”

‘Alright, alright, so this is how we’re playing, huh?’

Xiluo’er realized that Eve was absolutely determined to engage her in a thrilling, high-stakes showdown today.

But why? Why would Eve, with nothing better to do, insist on this magic refill with her?

Xiluo’er pondered, and only one possibility came to mind.

While she had managed to deceive Eve today, Eve had clearly sensed that something was amiss.

Eve had no concrete evidence to prove Xiluo’er’s deception, so she was indirectly using this action as a form of punishment.

One could say Xiluo’er was half-right. Eve was indeed giving Xiluo’er a small punishment, but the reason wasn’t quite that.

“Xiluo’er, since the problem is so severe, there’s no time to lose. Let’s begin.”

Eve gave Xiluo’er no time to further prevaricate. In a few swift movements, she climbed onto the bed, looking down at Xiluo’er, who was sitting cross-legged.

“Eh? Eh, eh, eh…”

This time, Xiluo’er truly had no way to argue, for Eve had already blocked her mouth to prevent such a situation.

“Mmmph…”

Eve pressed forward, causing the two figures on the bed to lose their balance and tumble down.

At such a moment, Eve no longer held back. Several pieces of clothing were tossed from the bed, casually falling onto the floor.

Xiluo’er, after all, was physically weaker. Her skill tree leaned towards being an assassin, and strength was never her forte. Thus, Eve could easily grab Xiluo’er’s two wrists with one hand, pressing them against the pillow above Xiluo’er’s head.

Step one: silence her. Step two: lock down her defenses. Of course, your Sister Eve has a strategy.

Xiluo’er, half-restrained on the bed by Eve, had initially intended to give up struggling. After all, struggling wouldn’t break Eve’s hold. In fact, the more she struggled, the more excited Eve might become.

However, just as Xiluo’er was about to lie still, she quickly began to twist and struggle slightly again. This was because Eve’s hand had reached below, casually removing a piece of her equipment.

A certain indescribable sensation immediately surged forth under Eve’s assault, and Xiluo’er instinctively began to struggle.

After the foreplay segment of the duel concluded, Eve straightened up, looking down at the small loli pinned beneath her.

“Shall I help you take off your clothes, Xiluo’er?”

Eve had only casually removed her own equipment earlier, not Xiluo’er’s.

Lying flat on the bed, looking up at Eve, Xiluo’er instinctively turned her small head, then weakly hummed in affirmation.

If Eve wanted to take them off, then so be it. It was all the same no matter who did it, and with her hands restrained, it was indeed difficult for her to do it herself.

Xiluo’er was currently wearing a small dress that Eve had bought for her previously.

From Eve’s perspective at this very moment, Xiluo’er resembled a small glutinous rice dumpling wrapped in bamboo leaves.

To taste the dumpling, one must, of course, first peel away the bamboo leaves.

So, the inedible bamboo leaves were casually tossed aside by Eve, and the glutinous rice that had been wrapped within was now exposed before Eve’s eyes.

Hmm, it had to be said, this glutinous rice was quite fresh indeed, both white and tender.

Presumably, this dumpling would taste exceedingly fresh and delicious as well.

Although Eve really wanted Xiluo’er to put on the maid outfit she had bought earlier before starting the battle, it wouldn’t be appropriate to make such a specific request at a time like this. So, let’s just get straight to it!

‘Never mind, I can’t hold back anymore.’

The battle began!

After all, this was a normal room, not the confines of a carriage. With the duel venue changed, Eve no longer had to worry about being ambushed, allowing her to increase the intensity a little.

Seasoned competitor Eve, in her tactical approach, did not launch an offensive from the outset. Instead, she first applied a

Another chapter that just suddenly cuts off. Is it an error or did it get removed from the original? If the latter, then could there be a note or something so it’s not just an abrupt cut off mid sentence?
