To be honest, I’ve never achieved such results before, nor did I ever imagine reaching this level of success. It’s actually quite intimidating.

How should I put it? I’m just a little worried that my writing isn’t good enough, and with more people reading it, I’ll end up getting flamed. Yeah.

Every day, before I first open the backend, I worry for a moment about whether I’ll be scolded. Then, after scanning through the comments and reviews and finding nothing, I breathe a sigh of relief.

The night this book was published, I actually dreamed I wrote something wrong and got cursed out. It was terrifying beyond belief, and I plunged into the abyss of the internet, never to return. *(True story, I really did dream that day; it was pure ‘day thoughts, night dreams’.)*

Nevertheless, I will work hard on writing it, so everyone can read with peace of mind. But if you really must scold me, Minasan, please go easy on me. Thank you!

Whenever my idiotic pig brain would come up with strange ideas and utterly terrible thoughts, it was like that porcupine grunting and charging head-first into a tree. At that moment, Bamboo Treasure would swing their strong, double-door-refrigerator-like shoulders, and their muscular, powerful arms would lasso me with a thick hemp rope, dragging me to crash in the correct direction.

Yes, that’s pretty much how this book was written. I once lamented to Bamboo Treasure that I had late-stage cancer, and they replied that they were a master at curing cancer.

Indeed, Doctor Bamboo has miraculous healing hands.

The preparation period for this book was quite long, roughly two months from conception to publication. While I was tirelessly stirring my brain to make it work, Bamboo Treasure accompanied me through the arduous process of refining this new book.

Moreover, it wasn’t just this book’s preparation phase. Personally, I feel that even before this, Bamboo Treasure guided me step-by-step, starting almost from ‘how to write a novel’.

It’s like hiring someone to teach you how to cook, but you’re a complete idiot, so the person you hired starts by teaching you, ‘This is a plate,’ and ‘This is a spoon.’
