Chapter 25: The feeling of obsession

The man left respectfully through the back door.

In the entire basement, aside from the unconscious young people lying on the ground, only one person remained — an old man with graying hair and a face full of deep wrinkles.

His name was Yao Tong.

He was a cultist who had lived for more than a hundred and fifty years.

Despite that astonishing age, he looked no different from an elderly man in his late seventies or eighties.

His role was to oversee all operations of the White City branch.

The ultimate goal — to summon the Black God into White City and let the Divine Realm descend upon it.

Over the past century, Yao Tong had narrowly brushed against the threshold of the Second Form.

This allowed him to prolong his life and watch as his former comrades perished one by one.

Only then did he come to understand a single truth — the human body was far too fragile to grasp the opportunities of this world.

Only by transcending humanity could one escape the limitations of this frail vessel.

From what Yao Tong knew, when the Black God descended, the altar would erupt with massive amounts of Life Source Energy, bathing the most devout followers in its glow.

That overwhelming energy would breathe new life into withered flesh, washing away the weakness of human bodies.

And when that moment arrived, a unique substance would be carried by the Life Source Energy.

It would recast the body — granting immortality.

Then, through that magnificent power and the blessings bestowed by the divine, he would break through to the true Second Form.

His lifespan would be greatly extended once more.

But now, he was running out of time.
If the altar couldn’t be completed soon, he would simply die of old age here.
And if death was inevitable… why not gamble everything?

Because of Zuo Tao’s failure, the final Black Energon Stone had been lost.

He didn’t know where it had ended up or who had picked it up.

But that no longer mattered.

If he couldn’t use the unique Life Source Energy inside the Black Energon Stone—
Then he’d simply use the lives of these young people to fill the gap.

As for that one named Su Xuan… he must know something.

To dare attack a messenger of the cult—
Once Yao Tong had reforged his body and stepped into the Second Form, he would make sure to settle that score.

Yao Tong stared at the twisted altar.

A strange light flickered in his yellowed eyes.

His withered lips squeezed out a few words:
“I will no longer be human!”

“Coo coo~ coo coo~”

Birds sang from the treetops.

When they spotted the fairy-like figure walking below, they couldn’t help but chirp in celebration.

She was a masterpiece sculpted by the Creator — a body so divine it transcended species.

Even if they were not of the same kind, nature itself demanded they praise this flawless work:

“Coo coo~~ coo~~!”

Su Xuan was clutching his waist, dragging himself forward down the path.
All he wanted now was a bed to collapse into.

His entire body — muscles, bones, nerves — screamed in protest.

There wasn’t a single part of him that didn’t ache.

Even when eating the nutrient porridge earlier, his hands had been trembling so badly he’d smudged some on his lips.
Too tired to notice, he’d unknowingly walked through the streets with it there, drawing countless dazed gazes from enamored men.

The whole way back had been incredibly awkward.

That maniac Zhang Heng — he was inhuman!

Every time Su Xuan finally adapted to the pressure, it would increase again.

It was like…

A frail woman tied up in a pitch-black room, surrounded by burly men.

One after another… ten centimeters, fifteen centimeters, twenty centimeters—

Just when she adapted to the size and strength, another one replaced him.

And you’d never know how big, how long, how hard the next one would be…

Or how many more were waiting in line…

But this merciless, ever-escalating style of training had dramatically enhanced Su Xuan’s control over energons.

He couldn’t manipulate them in all situations, nor command them through every part of his body yet—

But he had, undeniably, grasped the skill of Controlling Energons.

He had finally entered the path of control.
Under the influence of consciousness, he began regulating energy output through breathing.

He could then sense the reaction between his own energy and the energons — and the additional energy that sparked from their collision.

By focusing his mind, he could manipulate these invisible, intangible clusters of power.

However, this form of control was highly unstable.

Like tuning into a radio station, easily disrupted by external conditions.
One slip — and the signal would be lost.

Fortunately, home wasn’t far away.
Before long, he arrived, sticky and drenched in sweat, feeling utterly miserable.

The showerhead sprayed cool water across his body.

White mist swirled through the room under the warm lights.

A seductive silhouette moved within the glass, hazy and dreamlike.
If anyone else had seen it in this summer heat—

They’d have had a spontaneous nosebleed, two lines trailing down their face.

Su Xuan stood facing the shower, brushing damp hair out of his eyes.

The strong water jets struck his chest.

Though mentally and physically exhausted,
A strange sensation slowly spread across his chest, jolting him from his daze.

Something odd was wrapping around his entire body.

In his blank mind, it was like a bolt of lightning tearing through the night sky.

He numbly touched his not-yet-prominent chest.

His lips parted slightly.

“That’s… strange. Really strange!”

An electric shock surged through Su Xuan’s brain.

His eyes rolled upward.

His mouth parted with a breathy, uncontrollable moan.

His long legs instinctively tightened together, rubbing back and forth.

He felt like he was soaring toward the clouds—

Drifting through the skies,

Or plunging into a deep ocean abyss, rising and falling with the tides.

His whole body trembled.

Silver fluid trickled from the corner of his lips.

His dazed eyes stared blankly ahead.

“Plop.”

Su Xuan collapsed to the floor.
He had almost no strength left to begin with—
And this unexpected shock had drained the last of it.

“Why… why is this happening…?”

He couldn’t understand.

Why did it have to be like this?

Even though he had mentally prepared for it,

Every time it happened—

His heart still sank with helpless grief.

“Su Xuan, you can’t give in…

There are still countless girls waiting for you!

You still have to lose your V-card!”

That belief stood firm in his heart.

He couldn’t fall so easily.

Even if this felt better than anything he’d ever known—

He wouldn’t let himself be conquered by this perverse bliss.

Droplets of water fell on his pale skin.
Su Xuan gritted his teeth and forced himself to stand.

He scrubbed his body quickly, letting the stream wash away all frustration and fatigue.

The brutal training, combined with this sudden shock—

Left him with no desire for anything except sleep.

He stared blankly into the darkness.

What lay ahead?

Only fog and uncertainty.

At this point, Su Xuan could only cling to his will as a man.

Even if one day, he truly became a complete woman…

He had to remember—

He was still a man.

Once—

He had been a proud young boy.
