Chapter 30: Early Winter Wind

Today, Han-jun took the driver’s seat.

My leg still hurt, and after being thrown by a monster yesterday, my whole body was aching.

“Jun, drive safely.”

“Got it.”

For some reason, I didn’t feel reassured at all.

And sure enough—

“Hey, hey!! Left turn! No—! That’s the accelerator, not the brake!!”

“Be quiet.”

“You’re driving like this on purpose?!”

Screeeech—

Because of Han-jun’s king-of-beginners driving, my heart pounded nonstop.

With my constant nagging from the passenger seat, he finally exploded and slammed the brake roughly.

He turned to me with a terrifying expression.

“…I just meant, do better.”

Seeing his face, I immediately backed down.

After that, I only read road signs and told him where to go. I didn’t say anything else.

After an hour or two behind the wheel, maybe because he had good athletic sense, his driving improved quickly.

Feeling more at ease, I rested my arm against the window frame.

When I opened the window, the wind of early November—early winter—brushed against us.

It stung lightly at the tip of my nose.

“You’re getting better.”

“Hyung, but.”

“Hm?”

“How did you know about that power?”

He brought up what I had told Grandpa last night.

“That? It’s nothing special.”

“You knew it was at Cheonwang Peak too. And you dragged me there. You knew before going, didn’t you?”

“Yeah.”

For once, Han-jun was sharp.

After hesitating for a while, I decided he deserved to know something and told him I had read about it in a book.

“A book?”

“Yeah. A book.”

“You believed something like that from a novel? Seriously.”

Ah…

Han-jun didn’t believe the book I read was some kind of prophecy.

He just thought I’d read a novel or comic and developed some ridiculous fantasy about powers.

But his reaction felt strange.

Even after everything that had happened, he absolutely refused to believe it.

And I—despite how absurd it sounded—believed it was true.

Maybe this was something only I was meant to know.

Had someone written this whole story out in advance?

A chill ran through me, and I rubbed my arms.

“If you’re cold, close the window.”

“Huh? Oh….”

I closed it, and we sped down the highway.

With the colder weather, trees had begun shedding their leaves.

There were no more cars racing by, no one maintaining the roads.

Dry leaves piled thick across the highway, making it hard to tell if this was still a road or already part of the forest.

Little by little, the world was changing.

“Another monster.”

We couldn’t drive freely like before.

Monsters roamed the highway, and the asphalt was uneven from damage.

We had to stop often, slowly making our way toward the city.

On the way, we ran into another monster.

After Han-jun dealt with it, we used the pause as an excuse to eat lunch.

Then we got back in the car.

“Hyung.”

The moment I sat in the passenger seat, Han-jun leaned subtly closer.

“…What.”

I leaned back cautiously.

He moved in as much as I retreated and grabbed my chest firmly.

There was nowhere left to go with the door closed.

“Ugh.”

“We didn’t finish yesterday.”

“…I have no idea what you’re talking about.”

“I thought I was going to explode.”

“Don’t say such vulgar things.”

“You’ve got to take responsibility to the end.”

So it hadn’t just blown over.

Han-jun reclined the seat and unzipped his pants.

When did he even get like this again?

It felt like an unspoken ultimatum—no departure until I properly finished what I hadn’t last night.

Doing something like this in a car… I never imagined it.

The road was dusty and deserted.

Only trees surrounded us.

If the wind blew, fallen leaves rustled softly along the ground.

It was peaceful—almost beautiful.

And yet here I was, forced to kneel and service him.

Somehow, that made it worse.

“Hyung.”

“…Fine.”

I slowly bent down and took him into my mouth.

“Haa….”

The moment I did, his breathing deepened.

His hand slid over the back of my head.

I silently hoped he would just keep it gentle, and opened wider, taking him in deeper.

Even swallowing halfway made him brush against the back of my throat.

I moved my tongue carefully, trying to make him finish quickly.

While I stayed bent over him, my own pants were suddenly yanked down.

He had reached over and pulled them off.

“Mmph—what?”

I tried to lift my head, but his hand pressed down firmly.

He pushed deeper, blocking my air.

“Keep going.”

While making me continue, his other hand began wandering.

He touched my backside, then slowly tried to slip between the folds.

The strange, ticklish sensation made my body jerk.

With him in my mouth, I couldn’t even ask what he was planning.

“Mmph…!!”

I tried lifting my head again, but his grip tightened.

Click.

Something opened, and then something slick and cold dripped between me.

Wait.

Was that in the car?

I had no memory of bringing anything like that.

When did he even prepare it?

Was this planned from the start?!

“If we loosen it a little every day, won’t it be okay?”

“…Mm.”

I understood immediately.

His thorough planning made my head go blank.

Look at your size.

There’s no way that’ll be okay.

With the help of the slick liquid, one thick finger slid inside.

My body jolted violently.

Hooking and moving slowly, he began thrusting his finger.

All the while, he pressed my head down, urging me to keep going.

“You’re the only one enjoying yourself. Hurry up and move.”

It’s not just you enjoying it.

I felt wronged, but figured finishing quickly was best, so I resumed.

Each movement of his finger made me twitch involuntarily.

He laughed softly, clearly amused at how flustered I was.

“You’re moving on your own. You’re hard again. Just touching the back does that? Maybe you’ve got talent.”

I don’t know why I keep getting hard either.

It’s just the situation.

It’s not like I have that kind of talent.

Mumbling around him, I tried to protest.

But judging from his low moan, he seemed to enjoy it.

“Haa… it goes in so well. You don’t have experience, do you?”

“Mmph….”

“Who was it? If that’s true, I’ll kill him.”

“Ugh.”

Suddenly angry for no reason, he shoved in a second finger without warning.

Even with lubrication, two was too much.

I smacked his thigh to show it hurt.

He finally withdrew and wiped both himself and me with tissue.

“Want me to touch the front?”

His voice was low and suggestive.

Even in my uncomfortable state, it made my lower stomach tighten.

With him still in my mouth, I nodded slightly.

“Mm.”

“Knew it.”

He grinned mischievously.

I felt a flicker of defiance, but in the end, I was just another creature weak to desire.

I didn’t stop him from touching me.

“Let’s go together. Okay?”

He said it while stroking me slowly.

Don’t obsess over that.

I already knew it wouldn’t happen.

As expected, I came first.

By the time the corners of my mouth were sore and tingling, he finished too.

At least he had one advantage over me—he warned me before he did.

I pulled away, and he released cleanly into tissue.

After both of us—well, mostly me—had struggled through our climax, we finally started driving again.

I glanced at Han-jun, smiling brightly as he drove, and let out a deep sigh.

When did we become like this?

Was I destined to be completely consumed by him?

Lately, I’d become painfully aware of his subtle obsession and overwhelming appetite.

The bigger problem was myself.

When he nudged closer, I couldn’t bring myself to refuse.

The most confusing thing of all was me.

Why am I like this?

Since I couldn’t understand my own feelings, I tried analyzing him instead.

Maybe it was because he was always with me.

If he met more people, maybe this would fade.

If we went to the city and saved people, he’d become popular.

The thought suddenly made my stomach twist unpleasantly.

Imagining Han-jun admired and surrounded by others made something sour rise inside me.

Like nausea.

Like motion sickness.

The idea of him leaving my side and doing this with someone else made my body react first.

You bastard—after putting me through all this, you’re going to someone else?

He hadn’t said anything, but I was already grinding my teeth.

I whipped my head toward him.

His handsome face only made me angrier.

With that face and that power, who wouldn’t fall for him?

What if he gets praised as a savior and dumps me?

“You bastard, are you going to do this with someone else later?”

“…What?”

“You’re going to break me open and then betray me?!”

“Suddenly… what are you talking about?”

Han-jun glanced sideways, then back at the road, completely confused.

Seeing him speechless, I wiped my eyes.

They say handsome men live up to their looks.

It fits perfectly.

Like the tragic lead betrayed by his lover, I buried my face in my hands.

“You jerk….”

“What’s wrong? Huh? Hyung? Did it hurt? Huh?”
