Having finished his meal, Leaf Su impatiently tapped his empty plate with a knife and fork, urging her.
‘Then you’d better tally up my order; time is money. What if this fellow wakes up now, sees how much I’ve eaten, and refuses to pay?’
The Waitress merely rolled her eyes at the junior student, utterly speechless.
Today, she had truly learned that one should never judge a book by its cover; a seemingly soft and adorable boy could be quite devious on the inside.
Seizing the three unconscious individuals by their school uniforms, she dragged them across the floor to the back kitchen.
Anyone daring to cause trouble inside Didijia would find their families forced to apologize, and the boss would likely extort a hefty sum in ‘repair fees.’
Yet, she couldn’t bring herself to be happy, for though it seemed she had indirectly boosted the restaurant’s revenue, the boss never accounted for such things; more likely, her own wages would be docked again.
Approximately ten minutes later, Leaf Su saw the Waitress pushing a dining cart towards him once more.
Kohn, meanwhile, was still fast asleep, dead to the world.
As she served the dishes onto the table, the Waitress eyed Leaf Su with an intrigued gaze.
“What is it, do I have something on my face? Or am I just too handsome for your own good?”
Leaf Su found her staring inexplicable.
The moment she returned, her eyes had been fixed on him, making him feel like some rare animal under dissection—a rather unnerving sensation.
“Not at all,” the Waitress retorted, a playful glint in her eyes.
“I have plenty of older students chasing after me; you’re far too green for me. I’m just curious, are you truly a commoner orphan?”
Her large eyes fluttered with intense curiosity as she scrutinized Leaf Su.
“Hmm… one could say that,” Leaf Su conceded.
“By the way, can I get a doggy bag for what I can’t finish?”
He realized he had overestimated his stomach capacity.
He was no longer the gluttonous couch potato he once was; after the third plate, he felt utterly stuffed.
‘Damn it,’ he inwardly cursed.
‘This one piece is barely 350 grams, yet I can’t even finish two jin (TL Note: A traditional Chinese unit of weight, approximately 1 kilogram) of beef in total. This child’s body is such a hassle.’
“You certainly can pack it up,” the Waitress replied, pulling a sturdy cardboard box from the dining cart and carefully placing the remaining steak inside.
“However, your plan to trick your friend might just fall through.”
“What do you mean?” Leaf Su asked, glancing at Kohn, who was still sleeping like a log.
“Don’t tell me this guy is actually broke? He can’t afford it?”
A bead of sweat trickled down his forehead.
‘Surely not?’
“No, not at all. The boss was informed of the commotion in the restaurant earlier. After he came out and took a look at you, he declared that your table would be complimentary today, and you’ll receive a fifty percent discount on all future visits.”
The Waitress’s face was etched with envy.
A fifty percent discount!
Her own employee benefit was only thirty percent off.
This made her wonder who this junior student truly was, to receive such a generous offer from their notoriously stingy boss.
It was simply unfathomable.
‘Could he be the boss’s illegitimate child?’ she mused.
“That good?” Leaf Su asked, taking the packed box with a suspicious look.
‘Don’t tell me your boss is a shota-con (TL Note: A term referring to attraction to young boys)?’
His mind drifted to the ‘Shota Raising Guide’ Anna had been reading at the counter.
A sense of unease settled in his stomach.
‘Is this entire school filled with perverts?’ he wondered, a shiver running down his spine.
Sensing trouble, Leaf Su decided it was best to make a quick exit.
With one hand, he grabbed the takeout box, and with the other, he roused Kohn, who was by now nearly awake.
“Hey, wake up, let’s go!”
“What’s the rush? I only had one drink, and I haven’t even eaten… wait, where’s my steak?”
Kohn blinked at the bare tabletop, then stared blankly at Leaf Su, who had already put some distance between them.
‘Did I somehow eat it all while I was dazed?’ he wondered.

Before long, the two were wandering through the commercial district.
Meanwhile, in the Didijia staff room, a middle-aged woman gazed at an envelope in her hand, which contained all the information about Leaf Su.
“Fiona’s little brother, is it? And still a novice. Since she’s entrusted him to me, I suppose I’ll have to teach him well.”
