Chapter 47: Brother?

“Brother… it’s not like that… listen to my explanation… mmm…”

Lying on the sofa, her graceful body twisted.

Her slender eyelashes, resting on her gently closed eyes, refracted a crystalline light in the bright moonlight.

Her pretty face was slightly flushed, and her cherry-red lips parted and closed as if she were saying something.

Her voice was too soft.

Even for Su Chen, who was half a step into the Third Form and at the peak of the Second Form, he could only roughly understand what she was saying.

This continued for a period of time before the sleep-talking gradually stopped.

Su Chen stood to the side, silently looking at the beauty’s handsome face.

A peculiar force soothed the restlessness in his heart.

Looking at that exquisitely beautiful face again, Su Chen’s mind was already free of those earlier thoughts and agitations.

To him, no matter how beautiful a woman was, she couldn’t be more important than his little brother.

For some unknown reason, Su Chen believed that his little brother must still be alive.

But as to where he was, he would have to wait for her to wake up to find out.

About ten minutes passed.

The sounds of battle outside grew closer, yet more sparse.

It seemed the cultist thugs were beginning to retreat.

The Black God they had imagined did not come out to help them, did not defeat the enemy for these so-called sincere believers, did not bring them eternal life.

The cultist thugs, who had no military discipline to begin with, finally couldn’t hold on any longer.

Their formation was shattered by the flood-like warriors.

The heads of countless cultists were severed and fell to the ground under the moonlight.

But Su Chen’s eyes were only on the serene face under the moonlight, waiting only for her to wake up so he could ask about his little brother’s whereabouts.

“Mmm~ Where am I?”

A clear, ethereal voice sounded as Su Xuan, lying on the sofa, slowly awakened from his dream.

He remembered that in his dream, his long-unseen older brother had come to save him.

At the brink of the building’s collapse, holding a long blade as brilliant as the morning light, he had cleanly slaughtered the terrifying and powerful Dark Abominations.

In the dream, just as he was cheering with joy, he discovered that he was actually wearing women’s clothes, his hair reaching his waist, and his clothes disheveled.

He hurriedly tried to explain, but Su Chen wouldn’t listen, and kept asking him where his little brother had gone.

“Phew… good thing it was a dream!”

Su Xuan patted his firm yet soft chest and surveyed the dimly visible living room.

“You’re awake!”

A familiar yet strange voice came from a dark corner of the room, startling Su Xuan into sitting up on the sofa.

He stared blankly at the figure that blended into the darkness and asked, “Who are you?”

The figure walked out from the darkness.

The bright moonlight, like pure white milk, spilled onto the tall figure’s face.

Su Xuan stared at the man, stunned as if struck by lightning.

A cold, handsome face, eyebrows like swords, and eyes as deep and dark as black jade, with short hair as scattered as the myriad stars.

But none of that was the main point!

Su Xuan’s small mouth opened in surprise, forming a perfect circle as a single word was squeezed out: “Brother?!”

Su Chen looked suspiciously at the woman calling him “brother” and asked tentatively, “Have… you seen me before?”

Of course, Su Chen didn’t think this girl was his little brother.

Instead, he thought of the playmates from his old neighborhood, or perhaps this girl was Su Xuan’s girlfriend and had seen a picture of him.

The corner of Su Xuan’s mouth twitched slightly.

He looked at Su Chen, who was staring at him with a serious expression, and touched his own forehead.

At the same time, he said, “Um… whether you believe it or not… I am actually your blood brother… Su Xuan. I’m really not kidding. If you don’t believe me, look at the birthmark on my neck!”

With that, Su Xuan turned his head, lifted his beautiful long hair, and revealed a red, heart-shaped birthmark.

“?!”

Su Chen’s head instantly felt twice its size.

This girl said she was his little brother Su Xuan.

No, this person said he was his blood brother Su Xuan?

And he had even produced a piece of evidence that Su Chen couldn’t refute.

His little brother Su Xuan did indeed have a birthmark like that.

When he had rescued him, Su Chen had been too anxious, and with the long hair and the dark environment, he hadn’t noticed it.

But was his little brother a girl?

No, he wasn’t. Su Chen could guarantee that.

It wasn’t like he hadn’t seen his little brother’s… little brother.

They had even bathed together, seen each other frankly countless times.

Even if time flew like a shuttle, ten years passing in the blink of an eye, and both of them had changed a lot, with Su Xuan’s appearance possibly changing drastically due to puberty, Su Chen could still be certain that his little brother was definitely a boy.

Suddenly, another thought occurred to Su Chen.

Perhaps his little brother had undergone that kind of surgery!

But there wasn’t a single trace of a boy in him!

One had to know that even those who had undergone such surgeries still needed a lot of makeup to adorn themselves, otherwise it was still easy to tell the difference.

After all, things like bone structure and disposition weren’t something a single surgery could change.

But this person before him… whether in appearance or temperament, was undoubtedly a girl!

And such a beautiful girl at that; even he had been stunned by her at first sight.

Su Chen had seen countless women, and the number of beauties he had met was even more numerous.

But those who could truly stun him, throughout his entire life, were only a mere two or three.

If one day, someone suddenly ran up to him and said that he would be stunned by his own little brother, he would definitely think that person was a lunatic.

But reality was just that magical.

He was also certain that no one would inexplicably say such a thing or deliberately get an identical tattoo.

No one would dare to pretend to be his little brother in front of him.

In his memory, that proud and aloof youth was now connected to this girl who was pure with a hint of sensuality.

The impact of this was

greater than a charge of a thousand Dark Abominations.

What had caused his little brother’s disposition to change so drastically?

How had his brother been living during the years he was away?

He suddenly felt a chill run down his spine.

Thinking of this, Su Chen suddenly felt a trace of self-blame.

If he hadn’t been so negligent in his guidance, how could Su Xuan have ended up like this?

Su Xuan looked at Su Chen, whose expression was shifting unpredictably, and suddenly found it a little cute.

He placed a fist under his lips and coughed lightly, “Brother… it’s a long story, hard to explain in just a few words. But right now, I’m still a boy, just a pretty one.”

“You’re… still… a boy?”

Su Chen found it hard to believe.

After all, how could such a beautiful boy exist in this world?

“Oh… brother doesn’t believe me? In that case, I’ll just have to…”

As Su Xuan spoke, he actually made a motion as if to take off his pants.

Seeing this, Su Chen, though now believing he was his little brother, felt the leap was just too great.

He turned his head away while quickly stopping him, “Don’t… you don’t have to!”

Although he believed he was still a boy, for someone with a face like that to take off their pants… no one could help but let their mind wander in that direction!

Su Xuan covered his mouth and giggled, not expecting his cool and aloof older brother to be so amusing.

Su Xuan smiled mischievously, his eyes curving into the shape of crescent moons, as if he were thinking of something fun.
