Chapter 59: The OL Uniform Trap

“Ah, this, this, this…”

Feeling Gu Jiachen’s hand gradually slide beneath her bodycon skirt, the young woman quickly shifted her hips. Her face flushed with shame as she exclaimed, “How is this an OL uniform?!”

“Hmm?”

Gu Jiachen tilted his head, carefully observing her attire. A white, form-fitting shirt paired with a black bodycon skirt, all accentuated by her youthful figure, created an intriguing contrast. It was as if a young girl, trying to appear mature, had secretly donned her older sister’s clothes, possessing an indescribable allure.

However, a crucial element was missing: the standard OL black stockings! Though the ‘little rabbit’s’ bare legs were fair and pleasing to the eye, an OL outfit without black stockings was simply incomplete. It lacked soul, utterly devoid of it!

This omission left the esteemed President rather disgruntled. He immediately reached out, tugged on the ‘little rabbit’s’ black tie, and pulled her face within mere centimeters of his own before chuckling softly.

“Still playing coy? Little rabbit, if this isn’t an OL uniform, are you trying to tell me the outfit you wore for your first interview with me was?”

“Well, it’s… it’s hard to say… No, it’s too… too close…” Zhou Ruoyu stammered in response.

She couldn’t help but turn her head away, a blush creeping up her neck. Damn it, meeting Gu Jiachen’s gaze at such close range was still far too awkward!

Taking two deep breaths, she quickly changed the subject. “I… I just thought that since this was, after all, a kind of on-site pitch, I should dress a bit more formally, to give it a sense of occasion…”

“Hmm…” Gu Jiachen nodded as he listened. A moment later, he smiled, then hooked her chin, forcing her to look him in the eye. “Then you’ve got it all wrong, because… while this might appear to be an on-site pitch, in reality, it’s a date where I plan to have my way with you, little rabbit~!

“Still, it works out. I quite like OL uniforms, so I suppose this means you’ve… accidentally hit the mark?”

*Hiss*—

Accidentally hit the mark? More like stumbled into a trap!

Zhou Ruoyu instantly committed this ‘landmine’ to memory, deciding then and there that she would forever shun OL attire. Yes… no more bodycon skirts, ever again!

She had originally thought wearing this would be better than a pleated skirt. *Ugh*—

Left with no other options, Zhou Ruoyu could only silently accept Gu Jiachen’s playful touches beside her as he downloaded the game.

She swiftly opened the game launcher and, with practiced speed, registered an account for Gu Jiachen. After binding his phone number to complete the task, it was time: Conqueror, launch!

“By the way… how exactly do you play this game?”

While Gu Jiachen was asking, the black-haired loli quickly pressed ESC, making the Dragon Wing on the game’s loading screen vanish in an instant. Then, she turned to him and began to explain.

“It’s a… well, it’s kind of like a 3D version of *League of Legends*, a third-person MOBA game. But it removes the three-lane setup; it’s ten people fighting on a map similar to ARAM, where minds turn to mush. It’s a pretty fun game!”

“Hmm…”

Observing Gu Jiachen’s bewildered expression, the black-haired loli’s mouth twitched. After a long moment, she suddenly realized that the basic MOBA terminology she had just used might be completely over his head.

“Ah… this, ahem… it’s fine! Luckily, the game’s tutorial is quite detailed. You can just jump in and try it out; you’ll get the hang of it quickly!”

Zhou Ruoyu immediately handed over the mouse and keyboard to the President. Gu Jiachen took a deep breath, then, as if facing a formidable enemy, stared at the computer screen and gripped the peripherals.

Zhou Ruoyu watched him silently from the side.

Initially, Zhou Ruoyu had been quite confident, thinking that as the owner of a gaming company, Gu Jiachen must have at least encountered some online games. Moreover, 3D MOBAs were generally easier to pick up than top-down ones, as their perspective was more akin to a shooting game, making them more intuitive.

However, things clearly didn’t unfold as Zhou Ruoyu had anticipated.

At first, the tutorial, like most games, taught WASD movement and spacebar jumping. These were simple enough; anyone should be able to grasp them.

But once they reached the mid-stage, when the tutorial pitted Gu Jiachen against a robot opponent, he immediately broke into a sweat.

Faced with the tutorial’s objective of using his ultimate ability on the robot, the President bowed his head, quietly searched for the ‘R’ key. Then, he confidently looked up, only to suddenly realize he wasn’t close enough. He quickly looked down again, searching for the ‘W’ key!

Finally, his game character bravely charged forward. He then looked down again to press the ‘R’ key. Zhou Ruoyu watched, dumbfounded, as it all unfolded because… Gu Jiachen hadn’t moved his mouse to control the ultimate’s direction. He had fired it into thin air!

Consequently, Gu Jiachen, having whiffed his ultimate, was instantly killed by the robot.

[The robot has killed CEO Gu]

*No, this…*

The black-haired loli fell into deep self-doubt. *No… dude, that’s a robot! Why do you have to look down at the keyboard just to press WASD?*

After a moment, she turned to him and asked, a hint of helplessness in her voice, “CEO Gu, have you… have you never learned to touch-type?!”

“Ahem… No, of course not!” Caught off guard, Gu Jiachen displayed a rare moment of panic. After a pause, he awkwardly cleared his throat twice before defending himself. “I’m not used to operating both the mouse and keyboard at the same time. It always feels very awkward…”

*Hmm…*

Gu Jiachen’s explanation actually convinced Zhou Ruoyu. The young woman thought carefully; it was true that for simple office work, there were indeed few situations where intense simultaneous operation of both keyboard and mouse was required.

“But… what games have you actually played, CEO Gu? You haven’t touched a single electronic game, have you?”

“Hmm… Minesweeper?”

Watching the black-haired loli’s sudden, relieved smile, Gu Jiachen cleared his throat, a little embarrassed. After a moment, unable to bear the pressure, he quietly gave up his seat and said to Zhou Ruoyu, “How about you take over, little rabbit? I’ll watch how you play and learn a bit~”

“Oh, alright~!”

Zhou Ruoyu waved her hand, feigning reluctance. Of course, it was all an act; she had been itching to play. After all, her rival was simply too damn terrible! She absolutely had to show him how online games were *really* played!

Taking the keyboard and mouse, the young woman immediately exited the tutorial and started matchmaking. Gu Jiachen, seeing her confident demeanor, couldn’t help but mischievously smile.

“It seems you’re quite good at this, little rabbit?”

“Of course! A newbie match like yours? Hah, I’ll slaughter them all!”

After her bold declaration, Gu Jiachen nodded in satisfaction. A moment later, however, he leaned closer to her ear and whispered, “Then, how about we play a game… From now on, every time you die, I’ll spank your bottom~”

*Eh?!*

Outside the office, Gu Xue stared intently at Xiao Lin, who was guarding the door. After a moment, she narrowed her eyes and spoke softly, “Xiao Lin, when did you get promoted from assistant to security guard? Let me in; I need to see my dad!”

“No… Miss, you really can’t go in!!”
