Chapter 14: Interrogation and Confession

“Qingyu? What an obscure name. I’ve never heard of it.”

Ye Qing hastily waved her hands, but Lin Shaoyao only leaned closer, her pink strands of hair nearly brushing Ye Qing’s collarbone. Despite Ye Qing’s efforts to maintain a poker face, her cheeks slowly flushed with guilt.

Cornered and pressed, Ye Qing could only retreat, one step, then two, until her heel unexpectedly hit the wall. Her pupils constricted as a sense of dread washed over her.

However, Lin Shaoyao seized the opportunity, grasping Ye Qing’s wrist with one hand and placing the other firmly on her shoulder, using her height advantage to pin her against the wall.

“My intuition has always been spot-on, Ye Qing. Do you have anything more to say?”

“I… I don’t understand what you’re talking about…”

Ye Qing struggled in vain. Her cherry lips parted slightly, and the clarity in her amber eyes wavered.

What she found most unbearable was Lin Shaoyao’s soft chest pressed against hers. Though they were the same age, Lin Shaoyao was far more developed, both in height and in her curves.

In this close encounter, Lin Shaoyao had completely enveloped her.

Ye Qing felt as stifled as a delicate flower with a bee delving into its bud, greedily extracting essence from its tender pistil, unable to shake it off despite her desperation.

Her eyes glazed over, and even breathing became difficult. Every inhale forced her chest to expand, subjecting her already distressed chest to even greater pressure.

“Don’t understand? That’s simple, Ye Qing. Next, I’ll send a private message to dear Miss Qingyu. Guess whose phone will ring…”

Watching Lin Shaoyao effortlessly pull out her phone, open an app right in front of her, and type ‘Be a good girl and take your spanking’ into the private message field for the black cat avatar, Ye Qing could no longer maintain her composure.

Her voice softened, as if melting away.

“I admit it, just let go! There are too many people here…”

The class had just ended, and the classroom entrance was packed with students—those waiting to use the room and those rushing back to their dorms, all crammed together. Any further delay would surely draw curious stares.

Besides, wasn’t Tang Nuo already covering her mouth, gazing at her with a shy expression?

Feeling the blue-haired girl’s gaze, a mix of panic and subtle excitement, Ye Qing could only try her best to hide her face in Lin Shaoyao’s shadow.

‘Don’t look…’

“I knew it. My intuition is always right.”

Lin Shaoyao’s cherry lips curved into a triumphant smile. Only then did she finally ease her oppressive stance, allowing Ye Qing to catch her breath, her cheeks flushed crimson.

As she spoke, Lin Shaoyao had already sent the private message. As expected, Ye Qing’s phone screen lit up in her pocket, displaying the teasing words from the other party.

“So, Miss Qingyu… no, from now on, I’ll call you Ye Qing. Because of you, I barely slept last night. How do you intend to take responsibility for that?”

“Take… take responsibility for what?”

Ye Qing blinked blankly, her clear, autumn-water eyes wide with innocence. She couldn’t recall doing anything wrong.

However, once she had fully recovered and focused her gaze, she noticed a faint pink aura shimmering around the striking pink-haired girl before her, casting an alluring glow on her fair skin. Her heart tightened.

‘Again? This small art department is truly full of hidden talents!’

Noticing Lin Shaoyao’s undisguised dark circles, Ye Qing then remembered their previous conversation about how drawing illustrations could be detrimental to one’s health.

‘It seems she really overdid it last night.’

“Do you remember what I told you? I’d tell you personally what exactly I drew… Ye Qing, haven’t you noticed? You’re a hundred times cuter than the black-haired maid in the drawing.”

Lin Shaoyao had to admit, the moment she saw the delicate, doll-like black-haired girl, most of her resentment melted away, transforming into a heart-pounding impulse.

‘This was the protagonist she had always envisioned!’

Though another protagonist in Teacher Xiao Conan’s works was often a meek girl who merely whimpered beneath, at least that girl could fantasize about being the dominant one after closing her eyes.

After a few pages of inner monologue, the poor, timid girl would suddenly open her eyes, returning to reality. Upon clearly sensing the gap between reality and fantasy, a tide of shame would surge through her.

After repeatedly comparing Qingyu’s black-haired maid illustration with Ye Qing’s appearance, Lin Shaoyao became certain of her conjecture.

‘There’s no mistake… My drawing skills still need improvement. I clearly failed to capture the timidity hidden beneath that ordinary face.’

“Isn’t it just yuri…”

Ye Qing mumbled softly. The more she muttered, the more nervous and uneasy she became.

‘An Yueying didn’t lie to me. The art department is truly terrifying, full of demonic lesbians… How wicked of her, pushing me into this fire pit knowing full well what it was like.’

“Um, excuse me, are you also Ye Qing’s friend?”

Seeing Ye Qing in a predicament, Tang Nuo bravely spoke up, interrupting Lin Shaoyao’s thoughts.

‘I must protect my only friend!’

Lin Shaoyao paused briefly, her wild expression softening. Her rose-colored starry eyes held only a gentle smile, and in an instant, she transformed into an approachable, empathetic older sister.

“You could say that. We’ve known each other for a long time, but never had the chance to meet. My name is Lin Shaoyao, it’s a pleasure to make your acquaintance.”

The pink-haired girl’s sudden change left Ye Qing so astonished her cherry lips hung agape. She silently scoffed internally.

‘Women truly are fickle creatures. Just a second ago, she looked ready to devour me whole…’

Regardless, Ye Qing cast a grateful glance toward Tang Nuo.

‘Thank you, Miss Glutinous Rice Candy. I’ll draw you a magical girl illustration.’

Back in her office, Shen Congqing shed her stern demeanor, slightly loosening her form-fitting suit jacket, and let out a long sigh.

“This truly is the worst class I’ve ever taught… but that Ye Qing, she doesn’t seem so bad after all. Silver Moon, what do you think of her?”

Following closely behind with class materials was a serene, white-haired girl. A hint of playfulness danced in her golden eyes, preserving her youthful vivacity, making her appear exceptionally well-behaved.

She was precisely the kind of perfect student any teacher would hope for, yet Shen Congqing’s feelings for her seemed to extend beyond mere expectation.

“I think she’s not bad.”

“That’s good… You’re always so reassuring. Could you give my shoulders a rub? My neck is a bit sore.”

Shen Congqing leaned back languidly in her chair, releasing the fatigue in her body.

Being responsible for her students meant being equally strict with herself. This had always been her approach, whether with her students or her junior magical girls.

As the steady, experienced senior magical girl, Qing, Shen Congqing often had to hide her exhaustion, always presenting a reliable front.

Her rare moments of respite were the brief, private hours she spent with Silver Moon.

Only with Silver Moon could she be willful, make unrestrained demands, and even entrust herself completely to her.

Feeling her stiff shoulders being gently massaged, Shen Congqing couldn’t help but let out a soft hum.

“Thank you, Silver Moon. I truly can’t do without you.”

‘Come to think of it, casually failing Ye Qing’s sketching class wasn’t quite appropriate. I should find an opportunity to call her in.’
