Shen Anyue kept apologizing, her guilt pouring out without restraint.

Anyue felt her body tilt as Cheng Yiyi pulled her tightly into her arms.

She reached out and pinched Anyue’s cheek. “Mom and Dad really want to see what you look like. Can I take a photo of you now?”
“Huh?”
Anyue turned the thought around for a moment, then excitement lit up her face.
She was naturally happy that her birth parents cared about her.
She wanted to dress up a bit first, but Yiyi didn’t give her the chance.
Yiyi simply pulled her close!
Cheek to cheek, they took a photo together and sent it to Mom and Dad.

“Wow! The girl next to her, is this our daughter? She’s so beautiful!”
