Join the ServerAt those words, Adrian’s expression turned subtle.
“Are you saying that about the trophy?”
Sena snapped back to reality as if splashed with cold water, biting her lip tightly.
Carried away by untimely sentimentality, she had been far too honest.
She hurried to push Adrian out of the room.
However, Adrian remained completely unmovable, as if carved from solid rock.
A sharp tone naturally slipped out from Sena.
“You’re completely right, so could you please just get lost now?”
“Sena, telling your husband to get lost?”
Adrian grumbled with displeasure, but he gently stroked Sena’s cheek once before disappearing down the hallway.
Sena immediately slammed the door shut and slid down against it onto the floor.
“Ha.”
A cynical laugh came out on its own.
Adrian Blake likely had no idea that Sena, too, had once cheered for him.
It was purely laughable how she had chased him out simply because her own guilty conscience had flared up.
Leaning her back against the door, Sena buried her face in both hands.
It had truly been far too long a day.
Starting from Adrian Blake’s confession to reaching this exact moment, not even forty-eight hours had passed.
Perhaps because she was completely soaked in stress and adrenaline, her head felt heavy and dull, as though shrouded in dark clouds.
Looking back, she had barely slept either.
Sena staggered forward and collapsed onto the bed.
She originally struggled to fall asleep easily in unfamiliar beds, yet strangely enough, she slipped into sleep with ease.
However, a mere half hour later.
“Ahhh!”
Sena woke up from her sleep with a scream.
It was insomnia.
“Sob, ugh…”
Sena breathed heavily, gripping the blanket so tightly that her knuckles turned stark white.
The frequent guests of her nightmares were usually Adrian Blake and her faceless mother, but this time it was slightly different.
Cyrus Hale, whom she had encountered during the day, had also appeared.
In her dream, Sena was fleeing as if being pursued.
‘Run away! Quickly!’
She could tell by the voice alone.
It was her adoptive father, Cyrus Hale.
Where had his stacked layers of weariness gone? A voice full of vitality, like that of a young man, shouted.
‘Now is the only chance. Hurry…’
Her breathing gradually grew heavier and faster.
Just as she was about to be caught by whatever was chasing her.
“Sena!”
A familiar cry rang out.
At that very moment, a powerful force bound Sena tightly.
Sena struggled desperately to break free from the restraint, only to droop limply as her strength gave out.
Before long, a soft touch pressed against her lips and thoroughly explored the inside of her mouth.
Subsequently, a small foreign object slid in along her tongue.
A brief wave of nausea rose from the resistance, but the moment it touched her throat, it melted away, leaving a refreshing, cool sensation.
“Sena, are you okay now?”
A voice that felt both familiar and distant called out to her anxiously.
Sena, Sena, Sena, Sena, Sena, Sena, Sena, Sena, Sena… Selena.
However, Sena’s consciousness sank deep into dark waves.
Deep, so very deep.
Adrian looked at Sena absentmindedly.
Her pale, bloodless face was framed by glossy, pitch-black hair scattered carelessly like raven feathers.
Beneath the mini-dress that complemented her black hair so well, two somewhat slender legs stretched out long.
Adrian tried with all his might to refrain from embracing Sena, who snuggled close in her sleep seeking warmth.
Inside his mind, he began reciting the 91st edition of the Special Bureau Investigation Guidelines backward.
The woman sleeping while making faint breathing sounds looked entirely pristine and peaceful, like an untouched snowfield.
Her completely relaxed face, unaware of what dream she was having, felt unfamiliar.
He wished she would wear an expression like this in front of him too.
Thinking that, he let out a quiet sigh.
“I have one confession to make, Sena.”
The woman, completely submerged in sleep, was nothing but peaceful.
Adrian covered Sena’s closed eyes with one hand.
He was terrified that she might wake up and see his face.
No, in truth, he didn’t even know what his own face looked like right now.
Deputy Director Sandria’s question regarding when on earth they had registered their marriage was entirely valid.
“You married me.”
Back then, the wedding guests were red-shelled crabs and seagulls, and the priest officiating the ceremony was a blind old man.
The woman who smiled brightly with her long black hair fluttering in the wind was dazzling.
Yet, the life of Selena Han, who did not know him, was so completely whole that there seemed to be no gap at all for him to squeeze into.
Sena.
A call laced with resentment settled over her quiet, serene face.
“I wonder if you think of me, even in your dreams.”
Her field of vision shakes.
All around was a dark forest densely packed with trees, but thanks to the moss covering the ground and her outerwear, her skin was scraped slightly less.
Sena strained with all her effort to secure her line of sight.
Because the hem of her skirt was pulled up all the way to her chest, she couldn’t clearly see the man pinning her down from above.
As she tried to straighten her clothes, a large and slender hand reached out to stop her.
‘Why, regretting it only now?’
It was a familiar voice.
The hand gripping her wrist was as cold as ice, yet Sena forgot to shake it off, staring instead at the hair that shone as bright as the sun even in the pitch darkness.
Haa.
A languid sigh settled down above her.
In that instant, between the folds of clothes, a face that was hard to forget once seen flashed into view.
‘…Adrian?’
Once again, it was a nightmare.
Sena reached that conclusion with a hazy mind.
The reason was entirely due to Adrian Blake’s appearance.
Half-naked in the lush green forest, Adrian was as splendid as a male deity from an ancient civilization prior to the founding of the Federation, yet in Sena’s eyes, he looked like a wild beast hiding its claws.
Whether the dream’s Adrian had long hair or eyes as blue as the sea were secondary matters.
They were currently entwined with one another.
‘Ah, wait…!’
Sena opened her eyes wide.
Despite her words of restraint, two fingers filled her lower body without hesitation.
Because of the inhumanly cold touch, the shape of the inserted foreign object was felt vividly, causing her to shudder violently.
To think she was having s*x not even in reality, but in a dream.
The location was a wide-open outdoor space, and her partner was none other than Adrian Blake.
Right around the time Sena began tracing her memories to check if she was somehow sexually frustrated, he opened his mouth.
‘Don’t worry too much. The Special Bureau doesn’t have the spare capacity to monitor a peripheral planet like this.’
Even while saying that, the act continued uninterrupted.
Sena tried desperately to break free from him, but her body did not move as her mind intended.
Before long, her mouth began to move of its own accord.
‘That’s not… what I’m… worried about.’
Her slightly raspy voice broke continuously due to the pleasure.
Right around the time Sena was about to give up entirely, he raised his head.
Eyes as blue as the clear sky stared intently into her face.
‘Then what?’
‘If I get caught by the Special Bureau, I’ll stand trial. But you won’t.’
‘That story again. Aren’t you sick of it?’
‘But you…’
He immediately cut off Sena’s words.
In the process of their lips touching, parting, and overlapping once more, a faint trembling and tension could be felt.
He, too, was afraid of a future that had not yet arrived.
‘At least right now, focus on me.’
As soon as those words ended, Sena opened both arms and wrapped them around him.
He responded by kissing her gently and carefully.
Sena was appalled seeing this series of scenes unfold, yet the version of her inside the dream was quietly accepting the kiss.
No, she was even tilting her head back to make it easier for him to kiss her.
When her body refused to move as willed, Sena gave up in resignation.
However, the nightmare did not end there.
‘Ah-uck, ah!’
Sena’s blue-gray eyes opened wide.
The fingers thrust inside below had increased to three.
He stirred his fingers in a slow, circular motion.
Soon, as his thumb brushed over the peak of pleasure, Sena had no choice but to helplessly absorb that sensation in its entirety.
‘Nngh, ugh…’
Sena let out a thin groan.
What was his rush? As a wet, clear fluid began to coat his fingers, he hurriedly pulled them out.
Soon after, something absurdly large and thick came into contact below.
The Sena inside the dream unconsciously pulled her hips back.
It was the right choice.
His length failed to enter properly, getting caught right at the entrance.
Stopping midway through pressing his body against Sena, he let out a soft tut of his tongue.
‘I think it should be about time you got used to it.’
Soon, hands that were cool yet firm grabbed her waist and pulled her down.
‘Ah, wait, ah…!’
The space between her legs stung as if burned by fire.
In reality, only wet squelching sounds were audible, but Sena felt as though she had heard a blunt, piercing sound.
He buried his face into the nape of Sena’s neck.
‘Moments like this make me feel like I’m truly alive.’
‘It’s not just feeling like it, you are.’
He whispered without even pretending to listen to Sena’s words.
“Ah, I really love this…”
The movement of his lips pressed against her thin skin, felt vividly in full detail.
Even while doing so, the legs of the two were tangling together as one.
Sena trembled as a light shiver ran through her body.
‘Stop, we’ll get caught.’
She pushed against his shoulders with force, but he did not budge in the slightest, as if he had turned to stone.
Then, unlike before, he called her name in a voice drenched with moisture.
“Sena, Sena… Selena.”
With those words as the very last thing she heard, Sena woke up completely from the dream.
Adrian was embracing her in the exact same posture as in her dream.
