Had she and her sister taken even one more step forward, that robot would have smashed directly onto their heads.

The consequences would have been far graver than a mere scratch; given the robot’s substantial weight, Liu Ruyan could very well have perished instantly.

While personal injury was inconsequential to her, harming her sister was an utterly intolerable offense.
