Join the ServerHis entire being seemed to focus on the warmth and softness emanating from his arm.
He watched Su Mian, utterly defenseless, resting her head on his arm, her breathing even and deep, sweetly lost in slumber.
Unconsciously, the chill surrounding him dissipated completely, replaced by an ineffable sense of pleasure, tinged with a powerful possessiveness, that rose from the depths of his heart.

The two girls Xia had called exchanged a strange glance, their expressions peculiar. One of them finally couldn’t help but whisper under her breath:
“What exactly are they to each other?”
Lu Yang’s scalp tingled at the question. He steeled himself and attempted to explain:
“Well… you might not believe it, but they’re actually… rivals in love.”
Upon hearing this, the girl’s eyes instantly widened. Her gaze darted back and forth between Xiao Moyuan and Su Mian, filled with disbelief.
Not only did Xiao Moyuan show no hint of disdain or impatience, but his brows were relaxed, even subtly revealing a trace of indulgence.
Meanwhile, Su Mian slept soundly and peacefully, unconsciously rubbing her cheek against his arm.
How could this possibly be the scene of rivals vying for the same girl?
It would be more believable to say they were a couple intimately embracing in the throes of passion. The words “I don’t believe it” were clearly etched on both girls’ faces.
Lu Yang himself felt his explanation was feeble and inadequate. He awkwardly rubbed his nose, then added:
“Ahem, well, the one who’s drunk is my roommate. He has a terrible alcohol tolerance, collapses after just a few drinks. He’s really not usually like this… He’s usually quite normal.”
He trailed off, the last few words lacking conviction.
Shen Zhixia recalled Su Mian’s uncharacteristic, endearing little gestures and actions when she was drunk earlier. Coupled with the incredible scene before her, she could only reluctantly accept Lu Yang’s explanation, even as a persistent sense of unease lingered in her heart.
Upon hearing Lu Yang’s explanation, Xia’s tense expression eased slightly. However, as he stared at the sight of Su Mian nestled against Xiao Moyuan, the depths of his pale blue eyes remained icy.
Lu Yang felt this couldn’t continue. He tentatively suggested:
“Student Xiao, how about… Qin Xuan and I give you a hand and move Mianzi to the sofa to sleep? With her resting on you like this, your arm will probably go numb soon, and it can’t be comfortable, right?”
Xiao Moyuan’s expression remained unperturbed, his tone flat:
“It’s fine. No impact.”
Lu Yang was speechless.
Seeing this, Xia immediately interjected, his voice carrying a subtle hint of targeting:
“Aren’t we supposed to continue playing dice? With Su Mian leaning on your arm like that, won’t it severely affect your performance?”
Xiao Moyuan didn’t even lift an eyelid. With his free left hand, he skillfully picked up the dice cup, shaking it casually. His movements were fluid, without the slightest hesitation. His voice remained indifferent:
“Any impact?”
Lu Yang looked at Xiao Moyuan’s posture, which practically screamed ‘I want her to lean on me like this,’ and felt utterly bewildered.
Could it be that Xiao Moyuan actually *liked* Su Mian leaning on him?
Lu Yang thought that couldn’t possibly be true.
He could only follow Xia’s lead and continued to persuade:
“It would be more comfortable for Mianzi to lie down and sleep, and we could play more freely, couldn’t we?”
Saying this, he raised his voice, calling out to the seemingly sleeping Su Mian:
“Mianzi! Mianzi! Don’t sleep on the sofa!”
His only response was Su Mian’s even breathing.
Helpless, Lu Yang turned his pleading gaze to Shen Zhixia:
“Student Shen, you and Mianzi are childhood friends. She usually dislikes people touching her. How about you try to help her away?”
The girl Xia brought whispered again, this time a little louder, enough for those nearby to hear:
“She dislikes physical contact with people… then what’s this all about…?”
Lu Yang fell completely silent, only able to awkwardly rub his hands.
Meanwhile, Shen Zhixia felt the chilling, piercing gaze from Xia’s direction. The inherent pressure in her blood made it impossible for her to retreat.
She took a deep breath and walked forward, first gently nudging Su Mian’s shoulder, then softly calling out:
“A’Mian? A’Mian? Wake up, let’s go sleep over there, okay?”
Su Mian showed no reaction, seemingly sinking into an even deeper sleep.
Left with no choice, Shen Zhixia reached out, carefully attempting to ‘peel’ Su Mian off Xiao Moyuan’s arm.
Her fingertips had just touched Su Mian’s arm, trying to exert some force—
“Mm…”
Su Mian, disturbed in her sleep, let out a soft whimper.
Far from letting go, she instinctively tightened her arms, as if seeking more security, embracing Xiao Moyuan’s arm even more firmly.
She even pressed half her body closer, burying her cheek deep into his arm, rubbing against it until she found a more comfortable position, and then fell deeply asleep once more.
Shen Zhixia was quite vexed:
“A’Mian is holding on too tightly…”
Xiao Moyuan distinctly felt her closer embrace and that soft, sweet whimper on his arm. The pleasure in his heart nearly overflowed.
He forcefully suppressed the corners of his mouth, which were almost curling upwards, maintaining an air of nonchalant ease on his face, even tinged with a ‘there’s nothing I can do’ helplessness as he looked at Shen Zhixia.
Shen Zhixia watched Su Mian, completely reliant on Xiao Moyuan and resisting her touch. Her outstretched hand froze in mid-air, ultimately falling limply to her side.
She bit her lower lip, her eyes filled with complex, unreadable emotions, and whispered:
“Never mind… let her sleep like that.”
Xia’s face instantly darkened several shades.
And so, the dice game continued in an extremely peculiar atmosphere.
Xiao Moyuan held the dice cup with one hand, his posture still composed, his judgment still precise, as if the person draped over his arm was not a person at all, but merely an insignificant accessory.
However, Su Mian’s sleeping posture was far from tranquil. She seemed to sleep restlessly, unconsciously moving from time to time.
These subtle, intimate, and dependent little actions repeatedly challenged the perceptions of everyone present.
Lu Yang had gone from initial shock to numbness, burying his head in his drink, pretending not to see anything.
Xia’s two girls exchanged glances with increasing frequency, their faces clearly stating, ‘This is absolutely not normal.’
Xia himself, his knuckles on the dice tray slightly white, was unable to erupt due to the circumstances.
Shen Zhixia, however, was the most profoundly impacted internally.
Imagine how you would feel seeing a boy who is pursuing you, nestled against a boy you once had feelings for?
It continued until the scheduled time ended, the noisy music stopped, and the lights in the private room flared on.
The dazzling light seemed to disturb Su Mian’s sleep.
Her long eyelashes fluttered a few times, and she groggily opened her eyes.
Her mind was still somewhat muddled. She instinctively raised a hand to rub her eyes, only to find herself tightly embracing a firm arm, her cheek intimately pressed against someone’s body.
She blinked blankly, her gaze tracing upwards along the arm until it met a pair of deep eyes, looking down at her.
Xiao Moyuan’s eyes.
In that instant, Su Mian felt as if she had been struck by a bolt of lightning. All her sleepiness and confusion vanished instantly.
She… how could she be sleeping while holding Xiao Moyuan’s arm?!
And sleeping so… so soundly?!
Wait, wasn’t she at KTV?
Wasn’t she playing dice with Shen Zhixia?
Su Mian finally realized something was even more amiss.
She slowly looked up, discovering that everyone in the private room was staring intently at her.
At this moment, Su Mian knew she was doomed.
She must have had too much to drink again.
And she had been sleeping, seemingly for a long time, while leaning on Xiao Moyuan’s arm.
But why didn’t anyone wake her up?
Also, did she do anything else strange before falling asleep?
Su Mian felt there couldn’t be anything more awkward in the world than falling asleep against her rival, in front of her roommate, a stranger, and the girl she liked.
Just a while ago, she had vowed never to get drunk, even claiming she’d be a dog if she did…
Su Mian desperately wished this was an illusion, a dream.
She even closed her eyes again, leaning back against Xiao Moyuan’s arm.
But the familiar scent of pine wood at her nose, and Lu Yang’s words, told her it was all real.
“Is Mianzi still not sober?”
“What to say…”
Xiao Moyuan suggested:
“I can take her to a hotel to sleep.”
In a flash, Su Mian’s eyes snapped open.
Xia and Shen Zhixia simultaneously exclaimed:
“No!”
