Chapter 37: The Drunken Little Yellow Hair

After who knows how long, Jiang Qing finally released her lips. Her face held unconcealed satisfaction as she propped herself up and looked down at the person on the bed.

Mo Liang lay limp amid the tangled bedding, staring blankly at the ceiling, her chest rising and falling rapidly as she gasped for air.

“See? You enjoyed it too, didn’t you?”

Jiang Qing’s tone sounded like she was venting something, laced with sarcasm.

“Your mouth is all kissed swollen. You used to be a boy, and now you’re pinned down and toyed with like this. You’re loving it inside, aren’t you?”

Mo Liang listened. Something seemed to gouge sharply at her heart. She had been the one pinned down and kissed.

She had only not resisted because she saw the redness in the other’s eyes.

Why was it like this now, as if she had brought it all on herself, as if she had been willing?

“Mean person.”

Mo Liang’s nose stung, and her voice carried a sob.

She thought she must be crazy. She hadn’t resisted at all, and had even responded to the other.

Jiang Qing visibly froze.

She stared into Mo Liang’s tearful little eyes and for a moment couldn’t tell whether the other was faking or truly showing her feelings.

One second ago the other had been lying on the bed letting her do whatever she wanted, and now she was softly calling her names. It seemed more like she was acting cute with her, didn’t it?

But everything was clearly the other’s fault, wasn’t it?

The other had been the one who took her to those places, and now she had forgotten all about it.

She had only kissed her because she didn’t want to hear any more of her lying nonsense. She wanted to shut her up so she wouldn’t say another word.

But she hadn’t expected Mo Liang not to resist at all. No, she couldn’t be fooled again.

Jiang Qing’s eyes had cooled a little. She couldn’t let this Little Yellow Hair muddle her head with a few words.

But in the end, Jiang Qing couldn’t bring herself to say anything more hurtful.

The room was stiflingly dark. Only Little Yellow Hair’s broken sobs and her own breathing tangled together.

She turned her face away and stayed silent for a long while before tossing out one sentence.

“I’ll transfer fifty thousand to your card later. I… won’t come looking for you again for a while.”

Then she turned and left, without any hint of hesitation. The door clicked shut.

Mo Liang cried even harder.

What was this? Giving her money after kissing her. What did that make her? Someone to be paid for s*x?

Tears poured down and wouldn’t stop. She grabbed the pillow beside her and hurled it hard at the door.

Who wants your stinking money! Jerk!

She, Mo Liang, loved money, but she wasn’t so cheap as to stoop to this. She wiped the tears from her face hard, picked up her phone, and opened the front camera.

The screen reflected a wretched face. Her lips were still swollen, and half-dried tear tracks streaked her cheeks.

“Wuu wuu wuu…”

She stared at herself in the screen and felt more and more like breaking down. She didn’t want this body, and she didn’t want to be treated like this.

In the end, she didn’t know how she made it home.

She rushed into the bathroom first and washed herself all over, then dragged her wet hair downstairs and bought a few bottles of alcohol.

She had never touched cigarettes or alcohol before, but she had at least heard the saying about drowning one’s sorrows in wine.

Now it was the only thing she could rely on. As long as she drank until her mind went fuzzy, until she didn’t have to think about anything, that would be enough, right?

So when Shen Zhiyi pushed open the door, she froze completely.

Because a dead-drunk Little Yellow Hair was lying on the sofa, a red flush on her small face, giggling foolishly, still clutching half a bottle of alcohol.

“Sister? You’re back…”

The moment Mo Liang saw her, her eyes lit up. She tossed the bottle aside, didn’t even bother with slippers, and stumbled over to throw herself into Shen Zhiyi’s arms.

She clung to her, rubbing against her all over.

“Sister… you smell so good.”

Shen Zhiyi looked down at the bold little drunk yellow-haired girl in her arms.

Her cheeks were flushed red from the alcohol, and she kept nuzzling into her.

The kid was clearly blackout drunk. Her IQ was probably about the same as a border collie’s, Shen Zhiyi guessed.

“Why did you drink?” Shen Zhiyi asked softly, her tone helpless.

“I don’t know…” Mo Liang raised her face and mumbled vaguely.

“Sister, why do you smell so good?”

Then she buried her face in Shen Zhiyi’s chest again, looking completely innocent.

Shen Zhiyi sighed. She knew she wouldn’t get anything out of her tonight. Fine, she’d ask again after she sobered up.

She bent down and lifted Mo Liang princess-style.

The Little Yellow Hair in her arms suddenly widened her eyes in surprise.

“Huh? Why am I flying… Sister?”

Shen Zhiyi’s lips curved slightly. She didn’t answer, carried her into the bedroom, laid her gently on the bed, and pulled up the little blanket to tuck her in carefully.

“Sleep well. Don’t move around. I’m going to take a shower.”

Mo Liang blinked twice, as if saying got it, and looked impossibly obedient.

Shen Zhiyi glanced at her, then turned and left, closing the door behind her.

“Sigh, this little one really doesn’t make things easy for me.”

Though Shen Zhiyi complained, her mood was actually pretty good.

The way Little Yellow Hair had clung to her and rubbed against her just now had been kind of cute.

The image lingered in her mind, and she couldn’t help but chuckle softly.

She undressed, turned on the shower, and hot water slid down her slender shoulders and neck. Steam quickly filled the bathroom.

She tilted her head back and washed her hair, finally feeling some of the day’s fatigue loosen.

“Sister, are you taking a shower? Hehe… I’m coming in!”

Shen Zhiyi’s hands stilled in her hair.

“…What?”

Before she could react, the glass shower door slid open with a clatter, and there stood Mo Liang, barefoot at the doorway.

“What are you doing? Get out!”

Shen Zhiyi panicked and hurriedly grabbed a towel to cover herself.

But the culprit just tilted her head, her gaze drifting up and down in confusion. Finally it fixed on a certain spot, and she frowned seriously, looking down at herself.

“Huh? Why is Sister’s so big?”

Shen Zhiyi’s face burned red. What was this little brat saying? Get out already.

“Get out right now!”

“No!”

Mo Liang stomped her foot self-righteously, then actually reached down and stripped off the clothes she had just changed into, tossing them to the floor.

“I want to shower with Sister!”

Then she threw herself forward, completely naked, and wrapped her arms around the frozen Shen Zhiyi.

Hot water poured over them both, and Mo Liang rubbed against Shen Zhiyi in satisfaction.

“What the hell…”

She looked down at Little Yellow Hair, who was nuzzling against her chest with a satisfied smile.

Shen Zhiyi gritted her teeth and silently swore to herself.

Once Mo Liang sobered up, she was absolutely going to interrogate her about what had happened today!
