Join the ServerSu Qinghan stood silently, her black and white hair falling to obscure her face.
A long moment passed.
She slowly raised her head.
“Very well.”
“Die.”
The instant her words faded, she vanished from her spot.
Lieshan’s smile froze on his face. A lethal sense of danger made every hair on his tiger-like body bristle.
He snatched up the colossal axe beside him, sweeping it horizontally without a moment’s thought.
Yet, he struck nothing but air.
‘Where is she?’
The thought had barely formed in his mind when an irresistible, yielding force pressed against the wrist gripping his axe.
Su Qinghan had appeared beside him at some unknown moment, a fair hand lightly resting on his wrist.
That movement was devoid of any overt force, yet it contained the terrifying, coiling power of a tightening spiral.
“Snap!”
Lieshan’s wrist went numb, followed by a searing, piercing pain. His wrist bone, harder than steel, was twisted and broken by that seemingly gentle press.
“Roar!”
The excruciating pain ignited Lieshan’s full fury. He released the axe, and his other hand, massive as a cattail fan, descended with immense power towards Su Qinghan’s head.
Su Qinghan neither dodged nor retreated. Her feet traced a circle, and her body spun with the force of Lieshan’s palm, effortlessly deflecting all its power.
Simultaneously, her other hand, fingers joined like a sword, darted out to strike Lieshan’s elbow joint with lightning speed.
“Thwack!”
With another sharp crack, Lieshan’s entire right arm bent backward at an unnatural angle.
This was not the end.
Su Qinghan’s movements flowed like water, without the slightest hesitation.
Harnessing the momentum of her spin, she delivered a palm strike to Lieshan’s chest.
The strike appeared soft and weak, yet its force penetrated deep within. Lieshan felt his internal organs dislocate, and a mouthful of dark blood erupted from his lips.
“You…”
Lieshan’s massive body stumbled backward. He gazed in horror at the slender woman before him.
‘What kind of bizarre technique is this?’
His brute strength, his greatest pride, was utterly useless against her, as if he were a three-year-old child. Every attack was effortlessly neutralized, and his own power was even turned back against him.
He wanted to flee.
But Su Qinghan gave him no such chance.
She clung to him like a shadow, closing in.
Her attacks were no longer palms or fists; instead, they transformed into the simplest, most direct pokes, stabs, and pecks.
Her fingertips aimed for his Adam’s apple.
Her elbow struck his heart.
Her knee thrust towards his dantian.
Each strike landed with pinpoint accuracy on the most vulnerable vital points of Lieshan’s demonic body.
Lieshan’s colossal physique, at this moment, had become his greatest burden. He possessed immense strength, yet he couldn’t even touch a corner of her clothes, forced only to passively endure the storm of her assaults.
“Crack! Crack! Crack!”
Dull, heavy blows rained down with the relentless rhythm of rain on banana leaves.
Lieshan’s bones shattered, inch by agonizing inch.
Finally, Su Qinghan stomped on his knee, using the leverage to leap high into the air, her body executing an incredible flip.
Her hands clasped together, forming a crane’s beak, and with the force of a thousand pounds, she viciously struck Lieshan’s crown.
“Splat—!”
A sickening, bone-jarring crunch echoed.
Lieshan’s massive tiger head was, with that single strike, brutally caved in from the very center.
His mountain-like body abruptly stiffened, his eyes, wide as copper bells, filled with indignation and bewilderment.
Then, he toppled backward, rigid and lifeless.
“Thump!”
The colossal corpse crashed onto the city wall, kicking up a cloud of dust.
Su Qinghan descended slowly to the ground.
She stared at Lieshan’s corpse, her face devoid of expression, yet her heart held no trace of joy.
‘Eaten?’
‘He couldn’t have been Lu Hongzhuang’s match.’
‘He was lying!’
‘So, where did Lu Hongzhuang truly go?’
****
A profound silence descended upon the city wall.
Lieshan’s corpse, still warm, lay sprawled in a pool of blood, his eyes wide in death.
“Hehehe…”
A seductive, bone-chilling giggle drifted from the shadows of the city wall, shattering the brief tranquility.
Su Qinghan turned her head.
There, leaning against the crumbling battlements, was a woman clad in a jade-green silk dress.
Her figure was enchanting, her waist so slender it seemed one could grasp it with a single hand. As she moved, her skirt swayed, and her entire being exuded a lethal allure.
It was the snake demoness, She Man.
She Man licked her crimson lips, her gaze sweeping over Su Qinghan with keen interest.
“Little fox, you smell truly delicious.”
Su Qinghan’s face remained impassive. “Have you seen a woman dressed in red?”
She Man covered her mouth with a hand, her eyes curving into seductive crescents.
“The one in red? You mean that woman whose temper is spicier than chili peppers?”
She extended a slender, jade-like finger, pointing towards the most chaotic direction outside the city. “The Wolf King is quite interested in her. He’s invited her to be his guest.”
“Whether she returns alive depends entirely on her own capabilities.”
‘The Wolf King!’
Su Qinghan’s heart plummeted.
She wasted no more words.
A yellow paper talisman materialized between her fingers.
Her index and middle fingers aligned like a sword, while the other three bent to form a profound sword seal.
“By my lightning, descend and purge all demons!”
“Thunder Talisman Mystic Sword~”
Her voice was clear and cold, devoid of any emotion.
Boom!
The talisman ignited without a flame, instantly turning to ash.
In its place was a translucent longsword of lightning, now clutched in Su Qinghan’s hand.
Azure-purple electrical arcs danced wildly along the blade, humming as they cast a stark white glow across half her face.
The alluring smile on She Man’s face vanished instantly.
She sensed the terrifying heavenly might contained within that lightning sword, a power that was the purest bane of all demonic entities.
“You seek death!”
She Man roared, holding nothing back.
Her body glided across the ground in an unnatural posture, moving so swiftly that it left only a blur of jade-green afterimage.
Su Qinghan’s wrist flicked, and the lightning sword descended with a direct, overhead strike.
There were no flashy techniques, only the most straightforward and brutal slash.
Lightning tore through the night sky!
Confronted by a sword capable of splitting stone tablets, She Man’s body strangely folded backward, her entire upper half parallel to the ground, narrowly evading the blade’s edge.
The scorching lightning grazed past her nose, singeing a single strand of her hair.
The next moment, she coiled around her.
Her arms became boneless and pliant, like venomous snakes, instantly wrapping around Su Qinghan’s sword-wielding arm. A sinister, yielding force emanated, attempting to lock her joints and wrest away the lightning sword.
‘Soft-style martial arts!’
Su Qinghan did not grapple with her. Her wrist twisted along the coiling force, and her feet moved in an intricate dance.
‘Tai Chi deflection!’
She spun, carrying She Man’s body with her in a full circle, not only neutralizing the lock but also using the rotational momentum to sweep the lightning sword horizontally towards She Man’s waist.
She Man’s expression shifted. She hadn’t expected her opponent to be proficient in such a technique. ‘Why does this little fox know a bit of everything instead of focusing on seductive arts?’
She exerted force through her core, launching herself upward. She flipped in mid-air, landing several yards away.
“You have some skill,” She Man’s voice turned cold. ‘But this paltry bit of amateurish skill isn’t enough to impress me!’
