Some time had passed since the Rose Legion incident.
The Bloodkin’s Rose Legion was completely wiped out inside the Imaginary Space by the human Exterminator reinforcements that arrived later. After Sheffield’s death, the Orderer Barrier was restored by Flash Spirit.
The battle on the dark side of the world came to an end. The city spent that night perfectly intact.
Since fights inside the Imaginary Space never affected reality, not even a news report appeared the next morning. The city continued to run smoothly, returning to its usual peace and order.
Su Mu Zhe… or rather, Su Xiaoxiao.
Had officially begun her brand-new life as a girl.
Everything about the Bloodkin, about Evran, and about the secrets between the Su siblings had been laid bare to each other afterward.
As her brother’s lifesaver, Evran’s existence was accepted by Su Xiao Zi. Even though she was a vampire, Su Xiao Zi chose to keep it secret—after all, Su Xiaoxiao and Evran were now bound by fate.
As for the future, they would need to keep observing the situation. The war with the Bloodkin was far from over.
Still, after some time, she had barely gotten used to her female identity and returned to a calm daily life.
Her sister was also doing her best to teach her how to live as a girl.
But Su Xiaoxiao couldn’t shake the feeling that something in her life had gone terribly wrong! Some things simply couldn’t be adapted to that quickly—they were just too embarrassingly over the top!
“Bathing… bathing… then putting on my sister’s clothes… going to school…”
Su Xiaoxiao mumbled drowsily, her words slurred as she forced herself out of bed.
Su Xiao Zi had already prepared today’s outfit the night before, neatly folded and placed beside her pillow.
They were clothes from her sister’s junior high days—small and dainty, perfectly suited to Su Xiaoxiao’s current size.
A red-and-white top, a pale pink pleated skirt, pure white undergarments, a pink butterfly hair clip, and white lingerie. But the stockings were odd—one black, one white, as if they didn’t match.
“So sleepy…”
Su Xiaoxiao was still half-asleep, her ahoge drooping lazily. She didn’t pay much attention. As long as she could wear them outside, it was fine.
Her taste in simple styles remained unchanged from before.
She gathered the stack of clothes in her arms, slipped on her slippers with soft pattering sounds, and headed to the bathroom.
Looking at the huge pile, she couldn’t help but sigh—girls had so many things to wear. Back in the day, she could just grab a pair of boxers and a T-shirt and dash in.
Well… from now on,
She really had to start living as a proper girl. She didn’t love it, but it wasn’t that bad either.
Just think of it as hitting the reset button on life.
She stripped off the oversized clothes she’d slept in and squinted at her reflection. Her petite, jade-like body was flawless, as if sculpted from white porcelain—slender arms and legs, a delicate inward curve where her thighs met.
Her chest had only just begun to develop, a slight swell that was barely noticeable once clothed.
But that was good. No extra baggage—it suited her perfectly.
Still, looking at her own body made her feel inexplicably shy. She quickly grabbed a towel and covered the mirror.
She hurried to the shower, standing on tiptoes to reach the showerhead hanging high up. No matter how she stretched, she fell just short. She huffed in annoyance.
Forget it—no showerhead. She’d use the handheld one.
Su Xiaoxiao twisted the knob.
Hot water gushed from the overhead sprinkler, gently pattering onto her delicate, fragile skin. White steam slowly rose from the floor.
She could totally bathe alone just fine. Last time, Xiao Zi kept insisting on helping—definitely up to no good. Better finish washing and get dressed before she wakes up.
Washing her hair was such a hassle, and drying it took forever. Most girls avoided washing their hair at night because they couldn’t dry it properly and usually did it in the morning instead.
She padded around the bathroom with little splashy footsteps.
One moment grabbing body wash from the counter, the next reaching for a towel—things that used to be just a turn and a step away.
