Chapter 150: This Moment.

In that instant,
Su Xiaoxiao’s face froze into complete stiffness.
Inside, she only wanted to unleash a torrent of curses straight at Du Xiao.

Her superhuman perception slowed everything around her by several times.
The world turned black and white in a flash.
Light and shadow froze.
Sound vanished.
Only she remained a spot of moving color in the stillness.

She could clearly see Hua Ruolian falling toward her —
yet she couldn’t dodge.
Her pupils locked tightly onto Hua Ruolian.
Her shoes pressed hard against the stone edge of the pool.

Right behind her was the fountain pool.
If she really dodged,
there was still a chance —
but that would mean Hua Ruolian would fall straight into the water.

Their first meeting two years ago had already sent her crashing into this pool.
Now their “first meeting” again… was it going to end the same way?

Was there some kind of curse on her when it came to Hua Ruolian?

In any case —
falling into the pool again in front of so many people would be too pitiful.
Even as an apology for that time,
she couldn’t let history repeat itself.

With that thought,
Su Xiaoxiao stopped trying to move away.
Instead, she stretched out both arms with all her strength,
trying to catch Hua Ruolian and keep her from falling.

But she had overestimated her current body’s strength.
The moment her hands managed to wrap around Hua Ruolian,
her own body lost balance —
and she toppled backward uncontrollably.

Oh no…

Both of them were going in.

Su Xiaoxiao forced an awkward, helpless smile.
Then — splash
the two of them fell into the fountain pool together.

A huge spray of water exploded upward,
scattering droplets everywhere.

The culprit, Du Xiao,
ran too fast to notice anything behind him.
Completely carefree, he sprinted straight toward the school building,
leaving the students still at the gate staring at each other in stunned silence.

The twin fountain pools at the school entrance were one of the campus’s signature features.
Every time city officials came to inspect,
they would praise the school’s environment and landscaping —
and the fountains were always a highlight.

But right now, Su Xiaoxiao felt these two pools were the absolute worst.
This was already the second time she and Hua Ruolian had fallen in here together.

The water wasn’t deep — barely past the ankles —
but when the two of them tumbled in one after the other,
they were both soaked through.

Su Xiaoxiao lay on her back in the pool.
Her long silver hair fanned out in the water.
She blinked her big, beautiful eyes helplessly.

Hua Ruolian reacted with lightning speed —
bracing both hands on either side of Su Xiaoxiao’s face —
barely managing to keep her full weight from crushing the smaller, more fragile girl beneath her.

The student council duty clipboard flew out of her grasp,
clattering and rolling down the stone steps with a series of loud bangs.

For a moment, the entire scene fell silent.
Even the security guard in the booth froze for a second
before hurriedly standing up to see what had happened.

Su Xiaoxiao tried hard to look anywhere else —
because the current view was just a little too awkward.

When they fell,
Hua Ruolian’s two large white rabbits had swayed right in front of her face —
no more than five centimeters away.
Now they blocked her vision, making it hard to breathe.

But… looking this closely…
it seemed like… the girls she knew in class…
were all pretty well-developed, huh…

A-After all, they were third-years.
Bodies… had matured, right.

Cough…
She wasn’t thinking anything weird.
Just… pure, innocent admiration.
Yes, that was all.

Su Xiaoxiao gave a tiny sniff.
She could smell the unique fragrance coming from Hua Ruolian’s body.

This… this situation…
wasn’t this what they called “lucky pervert”?

But I didn’t look! Really, I didn’t look…
My eyes are trying so hard to look somewhere else…

Still…
after falling into the pool,
her back felt so cold…

Her skirt and underwear were completely soaked, right?
It was uncomfortable.

First day of school — and something like this happened.
It was exactly like two years ago.
Was this some kind of karmic cycle?

The sudden shock left Hua Ruolian momentarily stunned.
Only when she saw the embarrassed look on Su Xiaoxiao’s face beneath her
did she snap back to reality.
She hurriedly stood up.

“S-S-S-Sorry!!! Really sorry! I didn’t mean to!”

Realizing she had accidentally pushed someone into the pool,
Hua Ruolian’s face flushed crimson.
In a panic, she knelt back down in the water
and bowed her head over and over in apology.

Her skirt — which had originally stayed dry —
was now soaked at the hem too.

Su Xiaoxiao stared in a daze.
She had hoped that by blocking with her own body,
at least Hua Ruolian could stay as dry as possible.
Instead… she ended up sitting in the water herself.

Hearing Hua Ruolian’s endless apologies,
Su Xiaoxiao quickly reacted and comforted her in return:

“It’s fine, really.
I don’t mind. Truly.”

“I’m so sorry!
I got bumped by something just now and lost my balance —
and I dragged you down with me.
This is your first day at a new school…
I have to apologize properly. I’m sorry!”

Even with Su Xiaoxiao’s reassurance,
Hua Ruolian’s eyes still brimmed with tears.
She kept apologizing nonstop.

“Let’s stand up first.
I’m really okay…
How should I put it… I’m used to this kind of thing…”

“I’m sorry…”

“Accidents happen.
Don’t worry about it.
There are still lots of people watching —
let’s get out of the pool first.
We can go to the dorm and change clothes.”

Some students in the distance had already started running over to help.
Su Xiaoxiao waved to them, signaling that everything was fine,
and they stopped.
Then she quickly climbed out of the pool together with Hua Ruolian.

Her clothes were heavy with water — she was soaked almost to the waist.
Glancing at Hua Ruolian,
the other girl didn’t look much better.

Originally only her calves and knees had gone in —
but in her flustered apology,
she had sat down in the pool too.

Afterward, Su Xiaoxiao took off her backpack.
Luckily the bag had cushioned her back a little —
otherwise her clothes would have been completely see-through.
That would have been mortifying.

At least something lucky happened.
The Chinese homework was probably ruined —
maybe she wouldn’t have to do it now.
Thinking about that at a time like this… truly worthy of her.

“Um… I’ll take you to the dorm right now so we can change.
Please follow me.
There should still be some spare clothes in the dorm.”

Hua Ruolian’s face was bright red.
She used one hand to cover the back of her skirt —
probably feeling the chilly wetness there now.

Hua Ruolian took Su Xiaoxiao’s hand
and spoke to the security guard at the booth
before heading toward the girls’ dormitory.

“Mm, okay. Thanks for leading the way…
Eh — wait a second.
We’re going to the girls’ dorm?”

Su Xiaoxiao — jogging alongside Hua Ruolian —
suddenly realized the route was wrong
and asked without thinking.

But Hua Ruolian didn’t catch the implication.
She answered somewhat hesitantly:

“Y-Yes… we can only change in the dorm…
Everywhere else has people…
and clothes are kept in the dorm anyway…”

Eh————!!!!!

Right…
I’m a girl now.
I can only go to the girls’ dormitory!

Wait wait wait —
I’m completely unprepared for this!
Can I really enter the girls’ dorm?!
That forbidden zone I’ve never set foot in before?!

I never imagined my first time entering the girls’ dorm
would be like this —
or that I’d ever get the chance at all in this lifetime!?
