Set at the edge of the Source Star Universe, within the Solar System’s vast expanse, a golden-haired little girl floated amidst the starfield. She possessed three pairs of pristine white wings and an expression of playful charm. Before her hovered an enigmatic object, resembling a telescope, yet composed of bizarre runes that pulsed with a faint blue light.

This so-called ‘unknown object’ was, in fact, the ‘Insight Mirror,’ one of the highest-tier observation spells in the Source Star Universe. It was a formidable magic designed for ultra-long-range surveillance and intelligence gathering.

At this very moment, the golden-haired girl was using this spell to keenly observe Lin Ling’s every action. From Lin Ling’s private bath to her fierce battle with the Fiery Dragon King, nothing escaped her gaze.

Following Lin Ling’s ascension to a Primal, Blue Star had entered a three-year protection period granted by the Mother Goddess. During this time, the entire planet was safeguarded by a mighty barrier personally established by the Creator.

This formidable barrier largely shielded Blue Star from external assaults and prevented its discovery by extraterrestrial beings. Simultaneously, it rendered the planet impervious to external prying eyes.

However, the little girl remained entirely unconcerned by such anti-scrying measures. In the face of her divine authority, all defenses were rendered meaningless. Be it a reconnaissance-proof barrier or a Star Shield deployed by advanced civilizations to protect their planets, they were all as flimsy as a sheet of paper, easily pierced.

Her current objective was simply to record more of Lin Ling’s daily life, ideally capturing some rather alluring photographs. These, she planned to present to her sister, Sister Fen, who was both a doting sibling and currently unable to leave her post guarding the Source Star’s border. A hefty blackmailing session was undoubtedly in store!

‘Heheheh~’

The thought made the little girl chuckle with glee.

(The following is in Ancient God language)

“Still, I should send back some basic intelligence about this little sister first, so they can make preparations,” she mused.

With that in mind, the little girl promptly produced a machine resembling a computer and began compiling her report.

‘Speaking of which, the stingy Spirit Wave Cannon is pure silver, isn’t it? That would mean it’s unaligned. So how did she manipulate rocks to lift that lizard earlier? It wasn’t Earth-attributed spiritual power. Was it her divine authority?’

Recalling the previous scene, a conflicted expression slowly dawned on the little girl’s face.

However, just as the little girl delved deeper into her thoughts, the aura of an unwelcome guest abruptly intruded upon her sensory domain. Her brow furrowed, and she swiftly reoriented the Insight Mirror to the left.

Immediately, the mirror displayed a fleet of fully armed spacecraft.

Devoid of any racial banners, they appeared to be mercenaries. Three of their main vessels were equipped with weapons of mass destruction akin to planet-destroying cannons, and their target was unmistakably Blue Star.

It was somewhat unexpected, yet entirely logical. She surmised it was another directive from some advanced civilization.

Suppressing nascent races was a common occurrence she had encountered numerous times since becoming a Battle Sovereign. These particular adversaries, however, seemed to have invested a significant amount.

“Oh, my, my?! They even spent a fortune using anti-reconnaissance black primordial stones to build these warships. How thoughtful of them. If I hadn’t decided to take a stroll, you might have actually succeeded. I suppose I’ll give you a little ‘reward.'”

Though her tone remained cheerful and innocent, the little girl’s mood plummeted.

With that thought, the little girl deactivated the Insight Mirror and began moving towards the unknown fleet.

‘You owe me one, my dear sister!’

After the little girl located the most ideal offensive position, one that would not affect any other planets, she paused.

Overwhelming azure spiritual energy blanketed the nearby starfield. Both the little girl’s eyes and her golden hair radiated an intense blue light.

This was a unique physical characteristic that only manifested when a Battle Sovereign utilized over sixty percent of their power! At this moment, the little girl’s strength far surpassed anything Lin Ling could achieve in her normal state.

Clearly, the little girl had no intention of granting this unknown fleet any chance of escape. Daring to commit such an act demanded a grievous price.

Furthermore, she needed to end this quickly to avoid exposing her identity. Although the little girl knew that even if the opposing force and their backers discovered it was her doing, they would be helpless. Anyone with an ounce of sense wouldn’t choose to antagonize a Primal for the sake of a few troops.

However, the little girl also had to consider her own race; she had no desire to create diplomatic issues for her kin.

Even as she pondered, dozens of energy orbs, each brimming with terrifying power, had already fully charged around the little girl.

“Spirit Wave Cannon, ten consecutive shots.”

A voice, devoid of emotion or fluctuation, like that of a machine, emanated from the little girl.

Dozens of colossal, destructive azure beams of light mercilessly swept towards the unsuspecting fleet in the distance!

At this moment, their fate was sealed.

Meanwhile,

Inside the inpatient ward of Cangyang City Central Hospital,

From morning until night, Zhang Jietao recounted his ‘legendary’ experiences to the investigator before him, ceaselessly and with a mix of intense excitement and lingering fear.

He had previously reported his encounter with the beautiful silver-haired girl in the morgue to his colleagues and superiors. Yet, they all dismissed it as a mere hallucination. They simply couldn’t believe someone could so easily evade all cameras and infiltrate the morgue.

This had left Zhang Jietao feeling quite despondent for a time.

Now, however, things were different!

It was a rare occurrence to find an investigator from the capital, Tianjing, willing to believe him. Naturally, Zhang Jietao was thrilled, recounting the events of last night in an unending stream, hoping the investigator could help him find the girl he had met.

Truth be told, Zhang Jietao secretly wished to see that goddess-like being again. He harbored no impure thoughts, only a pure desire to witness her exquisite beauty one more time.

“Understood, Mr. Zhang. Thank you for your cooperation. I will report this faithfully to my superior and do my best to locate the silver-haired girl.”

“Alright, thank you for your hard work, comrade.”

“It’s nothing, merely our duty. Please get some rest.”

With these words, the young investigator departed the ward.

“How did it go, Wu Hang? Did you get any useful information?”

Wu Hang, who had just stepped out of the ward, was called over by his superior.

They had been working tirelessly in Cangyang City for a week. After the celestial anomaly occurred last week, the nation had immediately established a special investigation department to probe the events in Cangyang City. As a local, Wu Hang had been selected by his superior to assist. For the past week, they had been searching for a silver-haired girl.

Rumor had it that during the previous celestial anomaly, an old soldier on the peak of Ruohua Mountain had witnessed a non-human girl absorbing the energies from the starfield. This girl was said to possess beautiful, silver-white hair.

Despite their week-long, arduous investigation, they had found nothing. That was until this morning, when they heard someone had seen a beautiful silver-haired girl in the morgue, prompting them to investigate.

“Not much useful information, I’m afraid. He only mentioned seeing a silver-haired girl, but there was no conversation; he simply fainted. We should probably retrieve last night’s surveillance footage. Should we go now?” Wu Hang honestly relayed what he had learned to his superior.

“Never mind. You haven’t rested in days. Go get some sleep first. Captain Chen will handle retrieving the footage.” The disheveled middle-aged man said, then slowly walked away under Wu Hang’s gaze.

“Alright, I suppose I’ll head back and rest too. Oh, right, I still need to deliver that figurine I bought for Old Lin tonight,” Wu Hang muttered to himself.
