After finishing, Lin Ling lounged lazily on her big bed, picked up her phone, and nervously scrolled through Weibo and Moments. She hadn’t done anything strange, had she? Probably, maybe, perhaps she hadn’t made any weird movements or expressions that would be turned into memes, right?? If she had, it would be super awkward. @_@||||
But soon, Lin Ling discovered that her meme collection had already appeared in various group chats. Fortunately, there were no weird ones like “Yashile” — just ordinary screenshots from her stream with captions, plus some chibi-style memes. She had to admit, these people were pretty fast, and the memes were even kinda cute! Thinking of this, the corners of her mouth involuntarily lifted slightly.
Also, because it was a high-definition stream with her face showing, there were endless screenshots from every angle. Someone had even compiled them and posted online, with downloads reaching over a hundred million. Damn! Seriously?
Of course, comments like “I have a new wife!”, “I’m in love!”, “She’s the heroine of my doujinshi!” — Lin Ling decisively ignored them. At most, she’d curse some overly wishful kids to never get lucky in gacha pulls. Not worth mentioning.
But more than that, Lin Ling was curious about the public’s reaction to what she had said. She quickly checked Weibo and Twitter. Sure enough, almost all of the top ten trending topics were about her stream. The top ones were predictably about the power of the Battle Sovereign — she had made a big show of that to intimidate certain unruly elements. Other topics included the Outer Domain, the Anska Alliance, the existence of gods, and other heart-stirring issues. Surprisingly, no one doubted the truth of her words.
Overall, the stream was well-received. On her end, she had clearly informed them of necessary facts and corrected misconceptions, and she hadn’t done anything inappropriate. That relieved Lin Ling somewhat. Plus, with Little White’s special technology, the picture was clear, the sound was loud, and the video played without any lag. There were also multiple language translations to ensure people worldwide understood her content. However, the fact that Lin Ling spoke Chinese sparked heated debate and dissatisfaction in many places, especially in K Nation and I Nation. ‘What’s there to be jealous about?’ Lin Ling inwardly complained.
What comforted her was that most people were focused on the reality of the Origin Star Universe and the invasion from the Outer Domain — after all, these directly concerned humanity’s future. Fierce debates and arguments erupted online, and it seemed they would continue for a long time. Facing the common enemy that threatened their very existence, and with her words resembling threats and warnings, the overt and covert struggles among nations had decreased somewhat. Well, temporarily.
Looking at the generally “peaceful” Blue Planet now, Lin Ling truly hoped this tranquility could last.
“Forget it. There’s nothing I can do now anyway. Time to sleep,” Lin Ling muttered to the ceiling, then closed her eyes. Indeed, the moment she left the barrier, she would be locked onto by a swarm of external consciousnesses, making her quite irritable. It seemed she would have to stay cooped up in the villa until the Mother God Barrier finished auto-repair. She hoped it wouldn’t take too long. At least she could teach those two newcomers how to use Star Source.

Compared to the peace on Blue Planet, some places were far from tranquil.
In the Outer Domain, on a certain planet, a figure shimmering with purple-black light was darting through the dead space. However, due to severe injuries, the purple-black-haired girl moved slowly, almost reluctantly, with disordered breath. Yet even so, most of the surrounding Outer Domain creatures still feared her.
The terrible wounds caused by the Dragon Emperor’s attack still ached persistently, stimulating her nerves. She couldn’t help showing pained expressions from time to time, creating a desolate beauty. ‘As expected of the Refining Hell Flame, the Dragon Emperor’s innate fire, one of the strongest attacks in the Origin Star Universe — it lives up to its reputation. Even the residual damage can torture someone to death. Damn stinking dragon!’ The girl cursed furiously in her heart, hoping to distract herself from the pain. ‘And don’t let me remember who told me the Dragon Emperor never leaves the World Tree Heart, or I’ll skin that bastard alive.’
But despite her anger, the girl’s heart was filled more with confusion. Her mind replayed the battle. ‘Why didn’t he kill me?’ At that moment, she was doomed to die. But why did the Dragon Emperor extinguish the hell flame on his claws at the critical moment and instead slap her flying thousands of miles away? Wasn’t eliminating Outer Domain beings the Primeval Battle Sovereign’s duty? And in combat mode, that instinct should be even stronger. There was no reason to spare her, especially since she was the most hated humanoid Outer Domain Battle Sovereign. As far as she knew, no one in the Origin Star Universe would leave such a potential threat alive. But another thing bothered her: “Snow Moon City – Grelia.” That name, probably a place, was spoken by a voice that inexplicably appeared in her mind when she was sent flying — a mechanical, emotionless tone. What did it mean? She had no way of knowing now.
Sigh! She had lived so long but never been this embarrassed and confused. But since she was still alive, there was hope. She wondered how ‘he’ would see her now… How much had the Primeval Battle Sovereign’s way of thinking influenced ‘him’?
While pondering, the girl healed her wounds and flew toward her territory, the planet called Shuoming.
After several more hours of travel and dealing with some blind creatures, she returned to her former ‘home.’ But just as she entered Shuoming’s atmosphere, a strange feeling struck her. This planet, home to countless prison beasts, was now too quiet.
As one of the twelve Dark Abyss Lords, she was completely different from the others; she had no interest in expanding territory or attacking the Origin Star Universe. Consequently, she only had Shuoming as her initial fief, with a small army that was negligible compared to other Dark Abyss Lords. This time, for the invasion of the Origin Star Universe, she had taken over half her forces and two of her only three Sky Prison Beasts — and they had all died. But there should still be half the forces and many juvenile prison beasts on the planet. Why was it so dead? An invader? That seemed the only reasonable explanation.
Her eyes turned sharp, and she warily looked around. Purple-black power of Still Shadow instantly condensed into an amethyst longsword in her right hand, while she repaired her damaged dark purple armor. At the same time, her perception swept over Shuoming and the surrounding star regions. Soon, the feedback came. As expected, many ambushing forces were hidden around her palace and nearby planets, including five Sky Prison Beasts and eleven Hell Prison Beasts, ready to attack. If she tried to flee, they would swarm out immediately. She couldn’t handle this now. ‘Who has such resources?’ she thought helplessly.
With no retreat, she would face this unknown, long-lost ‘colleague’ head-on. Making up her mind, her pupils released terrifying killing intent and intense purple-black light. Then, turning into a purple beam, she flew straight toward her palace.
