Join the ServerMeanwhile, similar scenes were unfolding across Blue Star, mirroring the experiences of soldiers of Nation I. Countless innocent people fell victim to the merciless slaughter of the Prison Beasts.
Prison Beasts of this level posed no threat to Lin Ling, but for Blue Star’s inhabitants without any spiritual power, they were lethal. Human weapons were almost ineffective; without large-scale destructive weapons, they could barely cause any substantial harm.
Tragedy continued unabated. The slaughter spread further.
For the first time, all of Blue Star faced an invasion from beyond.
Fortunately, it seemed that all high-level Prison Beasts above the sixth rank had been drawn away by Lin Ling’s Holy Spirit Power, leaving them out of the attack on Blue Star. Fifth and sixth rank beasts, though still powerful for humans, were not insurmountable. But defeating them would still come at a great cost.

At the United Nations conference hall, the representatives from various countries had experienced a rollercoaster of emotions since they first saw the satellite footage. From despair when the giant beast attacked again, to elation at the appearance of the silver-haired girl.
Seeing that the person they had considered a thorn in their side could so easily block that awe-inspiring shockwave filled them with a mix of relief and luck. Some countries still listed the silver-haired girl as a hypothetical enemy, but now it seemed they had been overthinking. To a girl with such power, their nations might be no more than ants.
They had thought to watch quietly as she eliminated the monsters and then return to their countries to plan their next moves. But they were horrified to discover that the monsters were not so easily dealt with. Even the silver-haired girl’s massive silver-white laser hadn’t been able to take down the largest one.
Their hearts rose to their throats again until they saw her lead the monsters away. It seemed the monsters were only after her, not Blue Star. As for the few dozen or hundred monsters that landed on Blue Star, they didn’t care much. Those monsters were much smaller than the ancient giants they had faced before. And seeing how easily the silver-haired girl cut through them, they assumed these wouldn’t be hard to handle.
They thought they could rest easy.
But just now, news shattered those illusions. An entire aircraft carrier fleet of Nation M in the Pacific had been wiped out. No survivors.
This catastrophic news hit like a thunderbolt. The representative from Nation M fainted, and representatives from other countries were equally shocked.
Especially when they learned that only three of those supposedly “insignificant” monsters had destroyed the fleet.
Even more unsettling and chilling was what happened after defeating those three beasts. Half the fleet’s forces and the carrier remained intact. According to communication logs, the carrier captain had apparently tried to disturb the monsters’ corpses. What happened next was unknown—no intelligence at all. All they knew was that in less than a minute, half the forces had become zero survivors. The only clue was the manic, hysterical screaming over the radio.
What happened in between, they dared not imagine.
They only knew they had severely underestimated this event. It could be the greatest crisis in human history.
The representatives dropped all pretense of dignity and self-interest, hastily sharing their intelligence to find a way out.
Just as they were about to discuss, the big screen in the hall suddenly displayed a flood of garbled code, confusing everyone.
The next moment, the garbled code vanished, replaced by a white-haired girl.
A hacker?
All representatives looked bewildered.
Today’s events—no, recent events—were making them question reality.
But it wasn’t just the UN General Assembly; similar occurrences appeared on the computers, phones, and screens of heads of state and meetings worldwide.
A representative from Nation E, already agitated by his country’s suffering from monster attacks, slammed the table and stood up, ready to denounce this untimely hacking.
“Who are you? Don’t you know what a huge crisis we’re facing?! To pull a hacker stunt—”
Before he could finish, the white-haired girl’s words rendered him speechless.
“I come on behalf of my master, the silver-haired girl you speak of, to tell you how to fight those monsters.”
Little White’s words came through the small screens in front of each representative in various languages. So language wasn’t a barrier.
Moreover, Little White’s appearance was vastly different now—more mature and stable.
Her words silenced everyone. Not just the hot-tempered representative—all present stopped guessing and what they were doing, focusing intently on the girl on the screen.
At this moment, they had no time to consider the truth of her words. And such a massive, high-level hack could probably only be accomplished by the silver-haired girl’s subordinate.
Most thought so.
“Sorry, please continue,” the representative from Nation E said, calming down and apologizing solemnly to Little White.
Seeing no one else speak, Little White cut to the chase without ceremony.
“Those monsters are called Prison Beasts, beings from outside the universe you know. Think of them as invaders. They are filled with hostility and murderous intent toward all beings with souls. Your conventional weapons are almost useless against them. You must use large-scale destructive weapons.”
“Beings from outside the universe? Hard to imagine. But we’ve considered that. However, those Prison Beasts have mostly appeared in densely populated areas. We can’t just use those weapons carelessly.”
A representative from Nation G stepped forward, voicing a concern everyone shared.
“I was about to tell you. My master left a powerful soul force on Blue Star. It will divide into seven clusters of light that fly to various parts of the world. Once this power is released, it will attract most of the Prison Beasts. I’ve already sent you the coordinates of these light clusters. Don’t worry, they’re near your military bases. When you’re ready, open fire according to the signal I give you.”
Damn! If we miss, the losses will be huge! some representatives thought.
“Moreover, the bodies and blood of Prison Beasts are highly corrosive. They pollute everything around them, including human sanity. Don’t try to contact or study these things. They’re beyond your current capabilities. Otherwise, you’ll bear the consequences. Everything infected by Prison Beasts will be destroyed by my master.”
Little White added a stern warning.
Though Little White’s voice was cute and not intimidating, no one dared doubt her words’ truth. But how many would heed them was another matter.
Then a representative from Nation R caught everyone’s attention again.
“Can you tell us who your master is?”
“If my master wishes, I’ll tell you later. But rest assured, she bears no hostility toward humans.”
Little White’s answer clearly didn’t satisfy the representative from Nation R. He was about to ask further when Little White abruptly cut off the live feed. The conference hall’s screen reverted to the space broadcast, though no battle was visible now.
This left the representative from Nation R embarrassed, but he had no choice. He could only go back and report what happened to his country’s higher-ups.
But that was redundant—Little White had already sent everything that happened here, her own broadcast, the origin of the Prison Beasts, and ways to reduce damage to the leaders of each country, as well as to social media and news stations.
Since humanity stood at the border, it was time they got to know their not-so-friendly “neighbors.”
