X
Zhang San’s heart swelled with an unparalleled excitement. The golden-haired little girl before him surpassed all his previous ‘wares’ in every conceivable way.
Compared to her, those other girls were simply worlds apart.
And to think, she was completely unaccompanied by any guardian. This was an absolute godsend! He was certain to make a fortune this time!
Yet, he knew his greedy intentions must remain hidden.
He repeatedly cautioned himself inwardly.
‘Calm down! Don’t scare her.’
Having composed himself, Zhang San maintained his facade as a polite, handsome, and sunny young man. He offered what he believed to be a flawless smile, approached Bisika, and knelt down.
‘A perfect opening! Perfect!’
“Little sister, are you lost?”
Bisika: ‘…Idiot.’
‘A human trafficker actually dared to approach me?’
‘He must not know how to spell ‘death’.’
To a Battle Sovereign, no amount of disguise could conceal Zhang San’s vile thoughts. A mere flicker of perception from Bisika was enough to lay his intentions bare.
Still, Bisika felt a twinge of surprise, perhaps even a hint of delight. Ever since she became the Battle Sovereign, no one had dared to treat her like a child—at least not openly, excluding those from her origin, of course.
Ah, perhaps a few other individuals needed to be added to that list.
Even more astonishing was the audacity to attempt to abduct her! If news of this reached the Tianyu Tribe, Kaso and the others would undoubtedly laugh her to death! She had her pride, after all!
However, a serious problem suddenly occurred to Bisika. To enjoy herself peacefully on Blue Star, she needed money. When Little Seven had chased her out earlier, she had left in such a hurry that she hadn’t managed to get any.
If she resorted to robbery or printing money, Little Seven would definitely explode again. But…
Bisika cast a benevolent gaze upon the handsome man before her.
Her mood was already sour, and she needed a punching bag.
‘Heh, you’re the one.’
Zhang San, under Bisika’s stare, was suddenly overcome by a chilling sensation, as if he had been targeted by a ferocious beast. A shiver ran down his spine!
He shook his head violently at the thought.
‘Illusion! An illusion, it must be! How could such a cute, defenseless little girl possibly pose a threat?’
As Zhang San’s mind was still somewhat muddled, the little girl in front of him suddenly spoke.
“Big brother, will you help me find my mommy?”
Upon hearing such a soft, adorable, and harmless voice, Zhang San’s internal struggle vanished instantly. ‘Right! How could someone so cute be dangerous? It must have been my imagination!’
However, in his joy-addled state, Zhang San failed to notice the subtle hint of coldness hidden within the little girl’s words.
He immediately flashed a professional, fake smile. “Of course, I’ll help you find your mommy.”
Then, he extended his hand to the little girl.
The girl took his hand without a moment’s hesitation, showing no trace of suspicion. This filled Zhang San with unexpected joy!
‘Wow! Is she really this easy to fool? As expected of a hothouse flower, completely unaware of the dangers of society.’
The sudden ease and smooth outcome left Zhang San somewhat stunned. Had the God of Wealth blessed him today? Bringing such a treasure back would surely earn him a hefty commission from his boss, heh heh heh!
Full of elation, he led the little girl by the hand toward their organization’s base. The girl quietly followed beside him the entire way.
‘Too many people here, it’s not convenient.’
‘And…’
‘There are accomplices? Perfect…’

Half an hour later, inside a room in a certain building.
An overly excited Zhang San burst through the door, shouting, “Boss! Quick, look at this little girl behind me! She’s definitely worth a high price! I feel…”
A resounding slap echoed through the room.
“Bang!”
A muscular brute, resembling a bear, grabbed Zhang San like a small chick and pinned him against the wall. He snarled, “How many times have I told you to learn to be quiet! The boss is busy with the accounts!”
“Oh, oh, oh!” Zhang San nodded frantically, indicating his understanding. Only then did the brute release him.
Released, Zhang San gasped for air, then eagerly rushed into the boss’s room. He approached the desk and addressed a middle-aged woman with a fat, scarred face and a corpulent body.
“Boss, this time I’ve brought back an extraordinary treasure. I guarantee that Boss Gao will pay a hefty sum for her!”
Hearing this, the middle-aged woman’s curiosity was piqued. She looked up, glanced at Zhang San, and then followed him to the living room. “Don’t disappoint me.”
“Don’t worry, Boss, I guarantee you’ll be satisfied!” Zhang San said with a fawning expression.
The moment she entered the living room, the middle-aged woman was utterly captivated, frozen in place like the other guards present. All of them were stunned by the little girl sitting on the sofa.
The little girl was simply too adorable and charming. If given a few more years to mature, her future would be limitless! They had truly stumbled upon a treasure. The ecstatic middle-aged woman cast aside all pretense of image and, dragging her corpulent body, hurried to the girl’s side to examine her closely.
She then instructed her subordinate, “Quick, quick! Take two photos and show them to Boss Gao!”
“Zhang San, you’ve done a great service this time! You’ll be well rewarded!”
“Haha, thank you, Boss!”
Zhang San, gloating, began to ponder how he would spend his substantial commission.
However, after some time, the middle-aged woman gradually calmed down and noticed something amiss.
‘Something isn’t right.’
Under normal circumstances, a little girl would be crying and calling for her parents. Yet, this girl was perfectly composed, expressionless, and fearlessly observing them.
‘Could Zhang San have found an idiot? An idiot wouldn’t fetch a high price! A blank face won’t do either!’
With this thought, the middle-aged woman hastily reached out to the little girl, intending to conduct a small test.
But just as her hand extended, a wisp of cerulean light flashed before her eyes.
‘??? Where did that light come from?’
She quickly had no time to ponder the light’s origin.
Because to her horror, her right arm was reduced to a profusely bleeding elbow.
Excruciating pain surged into the middle-aged woman’s brain the next moment. Agonized, she collapsed to her knees, clutching her arm tightly.
“Ahhh!” Screams like those of a slaughtered pig echoed through the room, sending shivers down everyone’s spines.
The little girl, seated serenely, showed no reaction to the gruesome sight. She merely turned her head to look at the middle-aged woman on the floor.
“Oh, does it hurt that much?”
Her voice was no longer that of an innocent child but was imbued with chilling coldness and murderous intent. This sudden surge of frigid aura paralyzed the human traffickers present, as if their feet had been encased in ice.
Stunned by the horrifying scene, everyone scrambled to grab their weapons and aim them at the little girl. Though they didn’t understand what had happened to their boss’s arm, they knew with certainty that the girl was responsible. The crimson blood gushing from the boss’s arm had already stained the entire sofa, yet the girl sitting upon it remained spotless, her clothes still as white as snow.
In this context, it was strikingly incongruous and utterly chilling.
Before Bisika became the Battle Sovereign, the Tianyu Tribe had always been highly sought-after goods in the black markets of various races. In that era, countless families were torn apart, their wives separated from husbands and children, due to the greed of other races. Bisika, as a child, had witnessed countless such tragedies. Whenever she recalled her companions who were forcibly taken, an unbidden rage would ignite within her.
This made her now utterly abhorrent of such actions.
Looking at the scoundrels in the room, Bisika had no intention of showing mercy. She had remained quietly in the living room only to read their memories, to see if these individuals were beyond redemption. The results were as she expected: a group of despicable human traffickers dealing in children and young girls. Although her precepts dictated that as the Battle Sovereign, she should not interfere with the affairs of other races, if they provoked her, that was an entirely different matter.
Furthermore, Bisika had also inventoried their assets based on their memories. They certainly had amassed a considerable amount of ill-gotten wealth.
‘It’s time to end this. I haven’t had dinner yet!’
With this thought, Bisika gradually unfurled her hidden wings.
As three pairs of pristine white wings spread from behind Bisika, they finally realized that the little girl before them was perhaps not a golden treasure, but a death angel come to claim their lives! Regret, fear, and unwillingness flooded their hearts.
But they couldn’t just sit there and wait to die!
At this thought, one of the burly men grabbed an iron bar and swung it viciously at Bisika’s head!
‘Damn it, I’ll smash you into paste!’
But in the next instant, the iron bar in his hand snapped into countless pieces, as if sliced by a sharp blade. His arm and body followed suit. The little girl, meanwhile, remained quietly seated.
‘What… how… what… happened…?’
Enveloped in confusion and terror, the brute inexplicably disintegrated into fragments.
Upon witnessing this unbelievable scene, Zhang San was immediately scared witless and fled toward the exit. But he quickly discovered, to his horror,
that the door wouldn’t open. No matter how hard he pushed, it remained completely immobile.
‘This, this, this… why won’t it open!!!’
“Help!”
Zhang San desperately pounded on the door and screamed for help, his voice growing hoarse, yet no one responded.
It was as if they were cut off from the world.
‘No, no, no!’
‘I don’t want to die!’
Zhang San’s mind was on the verge of collapse, his limbs trembling uncontrollably.
Seeing no escape ahead,
he was about to turn around and beg the little girl for mercy, but it was too late.
A vast, cerulean spiritual pressure surged forward, engulfing everyone in the room. The powerful aura swept through their wicked souls, causing cracks to appear in the walls and shattering all the glass.
Zhang San lost consciousness before he could even speak, his eyes closing forever.
As Bisika’s wings retracted, the room was left in utter disarray, with no one remaining alive.
“To die like this, it’s a mercy to you all,” Bisika said coldly in the Tianyu Tribe language.
