On an island in the Pacific, at the United Nations conference site, representatives from countless nations gathered within the grand hall, discussing various real-time developments.
While their discussions appeared peaceful, beneath the surface, treacherous currents swirled, and veiled confrontations never ceased. There were those who sought glory, those who shifted blame, those who slandered, mocked, provoked, and even those who grandstanded, creating a chaotic scene.
It was less a negotiation and more a raucous street brawl.
Among them, M Nation and I Nation were the most agitated, their words nonsensical and baseless, yet their expressions remained utterly unfazed. One couldn’t help but exclaim, ‘I have never witnessed such shameless audacity!’
However, at that very moment, an urgent message arrived, causing the host’s expression to turn to panic. They hastily activated the main display screen in the hall.
Suddenly, an unbelievable, shocking clip began to play on the large screen. In an instant, the boisterous meeting fell silent, so quiet that a pin drop could be heard. This video had successfully averted a physical confrontation.
Everyone, regardless of their prior intentions, now stared intently, their faces etched with terror, at the video unfolding before them. It was a real-time satellite image transmitted by the International Space Organization.
In the vast, boundless expanse of space, countless dense black shadows enveloped both Blue Star and the Moon. The sight was utterly chilling, especially the most prominent, gargantuan beast among them.
Compared to its colossal size, an aircraft carrier would appear as an ant attempting to shake a giant tree. Such a creature transcended all human understanding of biology.
Simply its presence, drifting there, cast an ineffable sense of dread upon everyone present. Yet, in the next instant, the monstrous beast opened its gaping maw, seemingly capable of devouring the heavens and earth.
Under the desperate gaze of the assembly, a ferocious, crimson laser beam continuously converged, then fired towards Blue Star.
‘Ahhhhh!’
Witnessing the beast launch its attack, the attendees plunged into boundless terror. Some even screamed uncontrollably. If such a laser struck Blue Star, it would undoubtedly bring about total annihilation!
Could this be the apocalypse?
However, just as many resigned themselves to impending death, they were astonished to find that the laser had been blocked by something.
It seemed a barrier enveloped Blue Star, deflecting the barrage of attacks. ‘What is happening?’ This single question echoed in everyone’s minds.
The attack’s cessation brought no joy, for any clear-sighted individual knew the crisis was far from over. The colossal beast remained, and they had no idea how long this unknown barrier could protect them.
‘It’s… it’s coming again!’
As one representative gasped, all eyes snapped back to the screen. To their horror, another crimson orb of light was accumulating within the beast’s mouth.

Cangyang City, inside a hotel suite.
Lin Ling was equally astonished by the unfolding situation, her eyes wide with terror and murderous intent as she stared at the sky. This was her first encounter with the aura of an outer domain, an oppressive, eerie, and profoundly hostile presence.
Simultaneously, the Battle Sovereign’s instincts ignited within her, generating an overwhelming surge of enmity and killing intent. Truth be told, Lin Ling was filled with questions.
How had these creatures from the outer domain silently bypassed the detection of the Realm Beasts and the patrols of the Anska Alliance fleet? There had been no prior intelligence whatsoever.
Were the positioning particles around Blue Star capable of forming a teleportation array?
‘This is not the time for such thoughts!’
If that thing wasn’t stopped soon, even the Mother Goddess’s barrier might not hold! Disregarding the few relatives who hadn’t yet left and her own younger brother, eliminating those Prison Beasts was now the top priority.
A vast, silver-white spiritual power began to circulate within Lin Ling’s body.
The remaining relatives present were bewildered by Lin Ling’s sudden actions. Lin Hui and Lin Juan’er, who were accustomed to their elder sibling’s behavior, looked utterly confused. Lin Ling’s movements were unusually erratic.
As Lin Ling returned the child to Lin Juan’er, Little Mu, deprived of Lin Ling’s embrace, predictably burst into tears once more. Aunt Cai, seeing this, trembled with rage and marched directly towards Lin Ling, who stood by the window, a stream of invective already poised on her lips.
Before she could even reach Lin Ling, a burst of silver-white light, accompanied by controlled energy fluctuations, radiated outwards from Lin Ling’s body. Witnessing this incredible sight, Aunt Cai’s legs instantly buckled, and she collapsed to the floor, her angry words abruptly stifled.
Under the dumbfounded gazes of everyone present, the silver-white light enveloped Lin Ling. This… what?
As the light dissipated, the Lin Ling they knew was gone. In her place stood a silver-haired girl, radiating immense power, a figure both familiar and utterly foreign to them.
Turning back, the girl said nothing, merely sweeping her slightly golden pupils over everyone with a profound gaze. There was no discernible hostility or friendliness; it seemed she was simply confirming their identities.
‘Little White, the information lockdown is up to you. Don’t let them post anything on Weibo or elsewhere.’ Lin Ling conveyed her instructions to Little White, who was thousands of miles away, through her consciousness.
Leaving behind a mysterious light cluster, Lin Ling shattered the window and shot straight into the sky, leaving behind a group of utterly bewildered people staring blankly at each other.
Lin Hui thought, ‘My elder sibling? That silver-haired girl?’
WTF!
This was something he could never have imagined in his wildest dreams, yet it was unfolding right before his eyes, completely unforeseen. But if his elder sibling truly was that mysterious silver-haired girl, why had she suddenly revealed her identity and flown into the sky in such a hurry? What exactly was happening?
And what was this light cluster for?
Lost in thought, his mind swirling with unanswered questions, Lin Hui instinctively walked towards the unknown silver-white light cluster.

Seconds later, having ascended several thousand meters, Lin Ling confirmed there were no civilians at risk and no passing flights. A torrent of spiritual power surged from within her body.
There was no need to suppress her strength now. In the next moment, a silver-white beam of light, several times faster than before, instantly pierced the atmosphere and erupted into outer space, arriving at the barrier that had just been attacked.
Through the barrier, she confronted the tens of thousands of Prison Beasts beyond. However, before Lin Ling had time to thoroughly assess her surroundings, a scorching, immense crimson laser, radiating terrifying power, struck the barrier directly in front of her.
‘Bloom!!!’
The crimson pillar of destruction collided with the invisible barrier left by the Mother Goddess. The massive energy that scattered outwards instantly incinerated countless Prison Beasts hovering around the barrier.
‘Heh, utterly foolish. To stay so close.’
‘Are they truly mindless creatures, knowing only slaughter? The Mother Goddess’s barrier couldn’t possibly… not that easily…’
‘Huh?! (@[]@!!)’
‘??????!!!’
Her golden pupils sharply contracted. What was unfolding before her made Lin Ling’s smile vanish entirely. At the intersection of the barrier and the laser, purple-black light of unknown origin appeared, then unexpectedly began to crack, forming a fissure.
Though minute, it provided an opening for the enemy. Leveraging this seemingly insignificant crack, the crimson laser instantly tore a massive rift through the barrier with overwhelming force.
This sight caught Lin Ling completely off guard. The Mother Goddess’s barrier had been breached! What terrifying destructive power! But Lin Ling knew this was no time for astonishment, for the laser’s aftershocks were still surging towards Blue Star.
If it hit, the consequences would be unimaginable. ‘Damn it, I hope I’m not too late!’
Lin Ling swiftly moved, positioning herself before the surging crimson energy. She then channeled her spiritual power, activating the ruby on the gauntlet of her left hand. A silver energy array, dozens of meters in radius, materialized before her.
Sacred Domain Magic – Star Guardian, the most powerful military-grade defensive magic, and currently Lin Ling’s best available defense. As spiritual power rapidly infused it, an enormous hexagonal silver energy shield abruptly appeared in the path of the crimson energy cannon with extraordinary speed.
