Chapter 23: The Vampire Queen

The castle’s interior was lavishly decorated. Golden candle chandeliers and wall sconces that burned continuously lit the entire room.

The windows on the walls seemed to be made of some special crystal that could absorb moonlight, and they were painted with beautiful colored designs.

A red carpet with gold thread patterns covered the floor. On both sides were many pine chairs for visitors to use.
