Chapter 22: First Confrontation with Tina

Almost instantly, Su Xiaoxiao arrived on the scene.

When she saw Tina in her fully armed state, her eyes trembled slightly, but she quickly hid that surging emotion.

The last time she saw Tina was during their farewell a year ago, wasn’t it?

She wondered if she was still the same after all this time.

A crimson afterimage streaked through the air. Su Xiaoxiao swept past Tina from behind, deftly snatching a pistol from her waist – she knew Tina’s weapon configuration too well.

Aibrune had just seen another loli suddenly appear before him and was about to flash his signature smile, but upon closer inspection, he saw the terrifying glint in Su Xiaoxiao’s eyes.

It was the type of fierce-eyed loli he feared most.

That was a nightmare stemming from a past experience of his, causing him to instantly gasp sharply!

“Bang!” Aibrune barely had time to react before Su Xiaoxiao was by his side.

She shot him squarely in the head.

The bullet struck Aibrune, and his body immediately flew off the building, falling to the ground like a ragdoll.

But this shot didn’t kill him outright.

Su Xiaoxiao looked curiously at the bullets in the pistol, saying with confusion:

“Not Exterminator bullets? Since when did the Humanoid Weapon Research Society get so poor that even a seasoned elite like Tina can only use ordinary bullets?”

As Su Xiaoxiao prepared to pursue, the sound of mechanical devices operating came from Tina.

“Tat-tat-tat-tat-tat-tat—”

Tina’s firepower was never limited to a single gun; four submachine guns simultaneously spewed flames at Su Xiaoxiao.

Su Xiaoxiao had not anticipated Tina would attack her. She immediately summoned a Blood Blade from behind her, swinging it fiercely. Several blood spikes erupted from the ground, forming a shield to block the firepower.

“Wait, don’t attack me—!”

“Fifth Bloodkin detected. Tina altering combat plan. Enemy combat power assessed, win rate reduced to below 10%. Considering activation of self-destruct device.”

Hearing Tina was about to activate the self-destruct device, Su Xiaoxiao was startled.

Only then did she realize that in Tina’s eyes, she was also a Bloodkin, an enemy.

‘She’s already a Bloodkin…’

“Stop, stop, stop! Didn’t anyone tell you to value yourself and not use the self-destruct device so casually?!”

“This is not casually. If Tina cannot achieve victory, she will perish with the enemy. This is the optimal strategic plan,” Tina retorted righteously, already holding the self-destruct device’s switch in her hand.

‘Oh no,’ sweat began to bead on Su Xiaoxiao’s forehead.

She had to leave this place quickly. She didn’t want to be hit by bullets, and she also needed Tina to automatically disengage the crisis assessment.

Any explanation was useless to Tina; once she identified Su Xiaoxiao as a Bloodkin, no matter what explanation was given, she would only trust her own data.

Su Xiaoxiao turned her head to look at Aibrune, who had fallen from the building earlier.

But she found only a pool of blood on the ground, and he was nowhere to be seen.

‘As expected of that guy, even a shot aimed at his head didn’t kill him…’

“Alright, Little Tina, calm down, I’m leaving now.”

Su Xiaoxiao forced a smile, quickly retreating. She hastily scanned the surroundings; all Beyond Beasts had been annihilated by Tina, and there were no other Bloodkin present.

“Has this area been completely cleared? Only that one Bloodkin who escaped remains?”
