A gentle drizzle fell from the sky, neither rushed nor leisurely. As it cooled the sultry air around it, the clouds completely blocked out the blazing sun above. On this afternoon without sunlight, Tang Yue, the Blood Beauty awakener, found herself quite at ease.
Firstly, there was no sun to weaken her abilities. Secondly, unlike ordinary people, she preferred to fight in environments with ample visibility.
Thanks to the Blood Beauty’s innate night vision, Tang Yue’s abilities were actually enhanced in low-light conditions or at night. However, despite the boost in power, being a mid-tier awakener, she knew that even a single mid-tier demon required multiple mid-tier awakened individuals to handle. This was not just for safety, but also to silently emphasize the formidable strength of these demons.
Now, facing four white tigers of the same tier, Tang Yue felt utterly helpless. Her once pristine green dress was now stained with mud from the battle. The left hem bore a sharp claw mark, revealing a glimpse of her pale, blood-streaked leg beneath.
Her usually gentle and refined long black hair was now disheveled, with strands sticking to her porcelain face due to the rain. Combined with the blood whip she held, it gave her an alluring wildness. However, this charm was lost on the feline white tigers, who had no intention of going easy on her.
*Brroooww!*
Seeing Tang Yue’s chest heaving as she caught her breath, the leader of the white tigers, its eyes a fierce red, sensed a hunting opportunity. With a mighty stomp, it let out a roar that was either a call to arms or a threat, and lunged forward.
Tang Yue instinctively tightened her grip on her blood whip. Her pale lips pressed together, revealing her silver teeth as she braced for action. Just then, a melodious and languid voice, like a cat’s purr, echoed from above.
‘Darling, I’m here to save you, meow!’
The unfamiliar voice caused Tang Yue to pause. She was certain she had no female friends who called her ‘darling,’ nor any peculiar friends who spoke in ‘meow.’ Yet, there was something vaguely familiar about the voice.
As Tang Yue hesitated, a slender figure descended from the sky, landing gracefully on the white tiger’s head. The figure’s white stocking-clad feet rested lightly on the tiger’s massive skull, a striking contrast to the beast’s fur.
Tang Yue’s gaze was drawn to the figure’s feet, their delicate shape visible through the sheer white stockings. A strange thrill passed through her as she imagined how it might feel to be stepped on by those feet.
Suddenly, the white tiger beneath the girl stirred, its eyes softening and the red in them fading. A contented ‘hum’ escaped its jaws, much like a man enjoying a massage.
Tang Yue stared in amazement, her eyes tracing the girl’s form. The white stockings clung to her legs, accentuating their shapeliness, especially where the rain had made them semi-transparent. Tang Yue could see the girl’s smooth, hairless skin beneath, and a sudden understanding washed over her. Now she knew why Ye Yu always wanted her to wear stockings—they were incredibly alluring.
Her gaze traveled upward, taking in the girl’s curves and the hem of her miniskirt. The skirt was so short that Tang Yue wondered if she had seen it somewhere before. As she continued to look, she realized something extraordinary—the girl had a tail!
Tang Yue’s eyes widened in disbelief. She quickly looked up at the girl’s face, and her world tilted. There, standing before her, was Ye Yu, her husband, dressed as a girl, his face flushed with embarrassment but undeniably beautiful.
For a moment, Tang Yue’s mind went blank. She had always been the wise and level-headed one, but this… this was beyond her comprehension. Her brain needed time to process this new information.
Meanwhile, the white tigers, not appreciating the beauty of the human form, saw their chance. As Tang Yue stood stunned, the three remaining tigers pounced.
Ye Yu, in his girlish attire, saw the danger and acted without hesitation. He leaped gracefully to Tang Yue’s side, his cat ears adding to the allure. With a confident embrace, he swept Tang Yue off her feet, narrowly avoiding the tigers’ attack.
As they evaded the tigers, Tang Yue’s hair whipped across Ye Yu’s face, and he felt a mix of emotions. This was the scene he had dreamed of countless times—a hero rescuing his beloved. But to achieve this dream while dressed as a girl? That was a bit odd, meow!
