Chapter 42: The Abyss of Desires

Within the abyss of a forest teeming with countless demons,

low, eerie, and terrifying screeches occasionally echo through the air.

Some of these sounds are mocking, some are agonized, and others seem deranged,

enhancing the already oppressive darkness with a chilling dread.

In this terrifying forest layer, a radiant, ethereal presence suddenly appears,

shifting the atmosphere into something unexpectedly beautiful.

It is a girl with skin as pale as moonlight, seemingly bathed in lunar glow.

Her snow-white complexion is complemented by her hair, which flows like ink-black silk,

blown by the wind. Her agile movements give her the appearance of a nocturnal elf.

Crack~!

The girl leans down gracefully, and a mushroom protests with a snap.

Instantly, a mushroom appears in her warm embrace.

Tang Yue, who has ventured out to find food for her lover, furrows her delicate brows,

looking at the mushroom that has appeared in her arms.

So far, she has been exploring the forest for some time,

searching for edible plants to use as food.

However, consuming too much can cause hallucinations. (Note: Real Laughing Mushrooms should not be eaten.)

Tang Yue tucks the familiar mushroom into her bosom and continues her search.

During her search, she wonders aloud, ‘Where are all the demons? What’s going on here?’

Meanwhile, within the tree hole Tang Yue left behind,

a black-winged girl with ink-black feathers gazes at Ye Yu,

who is curled up, sleeping like a cute little rabbit in the corner.

She observes Ye Yu’s long, butterfly-like lashes fluttering with each breath,

and his sweet, milky skin that seems to glow even in the darkness.

The black-winged girl licks her lips, feeling a surge of excitement,

thinking how delicious Ye Yu looks in every way.

As she studies Ye Yu, the cold air of the sunless abyss makes her shiver.

Exhausted from last night’s battle, Ye Yu instinctively moves closer to the warmth of the black-winged girl.

In his drowsy state, he naturally rests his head on her thigh.

Why is this considered ‘natural’?

Because Ye Yu remembers how his girlfriend, Tang Yue, had been cruel to him,

ignoring his pleas to slow down and making him cry.

Now, Ye Yu is seeking some form of compensation.

A thigh pillow from his girlfriend is a perfect way to make up for it.

However, as he lies on what he thinks are Tang Yue’s long, smooth legs,

he notices something is off.

figuring that Tang Yue must have picked up some dark energy while foraging.

In fact, this unfamiliar scent adds a touch of novelty to his experience.

A gust of wind blows through the tree hole, lowering the temperature inside.

Ye Yu shivers and instinctively moves closer to the warmth,

shifting his pillow from her knees to her soft, fleshy thighs.

Enjoying the comfort, Ye Yu nuzzles his head against the thigh,

expressing his contentment.

But as he does, he realizes there’s no fabric on his head,

which confuses him.

After the second and third nuzzles, he grows shocked,

because Tang Yue had put on her dress before leaving the tree hole.

Why is she undressed now?

Ye Yu recalls a post about how, before intimacy,

girls are often shy and reserved.

But after intimacy, their attitudes can change dramatically.

Could it be that Tang Yue wants more?

As Ye Yu considers this, he feels the aching in his waist,

and seeing his blushing cheeks, the black-winged girl’s fair skin flushes.

Imitating the pose she saw ‘Tang Yue’ use last night,

the black-winged girl tucks her stray white-gold strands behind her ears,

the black-winged girl, though reluctant, flutters her wings and flies upwards.
