The phenomenon known as ‘ghost pressing the bed’ describes an evil entity pinning a person down, trapping them in a nightmare from which they cannot awaken, akin to a true incubus.
Ye Yu had heard of this folk horror legend countless times. He had even, quite recently, had the distinct honor of experiencing it firsthand.
Now, with a full stomach and a comfortable warmth settling within him, he once again heard that familiar, alluring voice—a mimicry of his own wife, Tang Yue—whispering beside his ear.
Mistaking his current state for the onset of sleep, Ye Yu found himself growing a little excited.
After all, if the ‘ghost’ pressing him down were truly a terrifying entity, that would be one thing.
But recalling the smooth, creamy skin and the sweet fragrance emanating from the ‘ghost’ just before he lost consciousness, he couldn’t help but conclude it was a beautiful female spirit.
As the ‘ghost’ returned, he remembered his wife Tang Yue’s teachings.
A surge of excitement coursed through Ye Yu. ‘Since the ghost is so beautiful,’ he mused, ‘then don’t blame me for rewriting this terrifying nightmare into a dream of spring!’
With this thought, the Great Laughing Mushroom muddling his mind, Ye Yu instinctively moved towards the source of the voice, actively engaging the female ghost.
This time, there was no surprise like when he was ambushed before. Unexpectedly, Ye Yu discovered that this female ghost seemed not powerful at all.
‘Hahaha, the beautiful dream begins…’
(A Succubus’s Confession)
My name is Bai Youli, or perhaps You Baili?
I can’t quite remember. In any case, this name was given to me by a human woman named Qianhe.
While I don’t know what the name truly means, it sounds rather pleasant, so I’ve tacitly accepted it. Not that there are many opportunities to use it in this abyss.
How long have I truly existed?
Has it been ten years, as humans reckon time, or a hundred?
I can no longer recall.
In this profound, dark abyss, time seems to stand still.
Here, there are only colorless black trees and ferocious monsters that can understand language and communicate, yet are impossible to reason with.
In such a space, time feels stagnant. My daily life is a static routine of eating and sleeping.
However, even such unchanging days occasionally present a turning point.
The story begins a few years ago when a human woman named Qianhe fell from the upper reaches of the abyss into this very layer.
That was my first time communicating with a human.
Perhaps it was an innate talent, but since birth, I’ve had a natural understanding of language. Whether it was the ferocious monsters or other living creatures, I could comprehend their tongues; human language was no exception.
When conversing with this woman, Qianhe, it was profoundly different from communicating with monsters, which offered only single-syllable grunts and barbaric thoughts.
Qianhe’s human way of thinking and her witty, humorous remarks injected fascinating emotions into my solitary world for the very first time.
Qianhe claimed to be a woman in her thirties. I didn’t understand how significant a thirty-year age truly was.
Yet, from the countless intriguing stories she recounted—experiences utterly alien to my life in the abyss—I could tell it must be a remarkable age.
Qianhe’s stories were many, encompassing kindergartens, academies, and workplaces, filled with numerous terms I couldn’t grasp.
However, while I didn’t understand some of the specific words, I could discern her complaints about other humans from her narratives.
To be honest, I couldn’t comprehend why, as fellow humans, their interactions were so complex and cruel.
Even the most savage beasts in this abyss understood the simple principle of avoiding conflict within their own kind and resisting outsiders.
Beyond complaints, Qianhe also shared many amusing anecdotes from her growth.
For instance, her family members: father, mother, grandfather, grandmother. Among all the people she described, what captivated me most was Qianhe’s undeniable affection for her ‘husband.’
Perhaps due to the abyss’s unsuitability for human life, Qianhe’s body gradually weakened with the passage of time.
Before her life concluded, she spoke of many experiences with her ‘husband,’ seemingly savoring each memory.
Though I didn’t understand some of the terms she uttered, I could feel the beauty of a creature like a ‘husband’ from the gentle smile that graced her lips.
She had mentioned that she most loved to kiss her ‘husband’s’ lips, the very mouth used for eating.
Curious, I once considered imitating a ‘husband,’ but Qianhe refused.
She said such things could only be done with a ‘husband.’
While I didn’t understand the reason, whenever Qianhe spoke of the various things she did with her husband, it invariably made me feel instinctively excited.
As a human, Qianhe was ultimately fragile.
After her passing, I did search for a ‘husband’ in the ensuing years, hoping to experience those strange, tingling, mysterious things Qianhe had described.
But then I remembered what that human girl had told me before she died—that humans were evil. She warned that if they found me, they might capture me for cruel research.
Because of this threat, I dared not fly out of the abyss to seek a ‘husband’ all these years.
After all, being imprisoned by evil humans and losing my freedom seemed far worse than maintaining the status quo, as Qianhe had implied.
This placid, unchanging calm, I had believed, would last forever.
But I never expected it to be shattered yesterday by the unexpected intrusion of two humans.
To be honest, my feelings towards humans—these complex creatures my friend Qianhe described—were intricate and sensitive.
On one hand, humans, just as Qianhe’s words suggested, possessed many stories I had never experienced, which undoubtedly attracted me, making me instinctively want to get close.
But on the other hand, my abilities, apart from a dark affinity that prevented other species from attacking me, consisted only of my innate language talent.
Regarding combat, frankly, I wasn’t skilled.
Therefore, the arrival of these two filled me with both anticipation and fear.
And was it fate?
The two human women fled in the direction of my usual sleeping nest, and coincidentally, they ended up beneath my tree hollow.
I decided to observe first.
“Husband, it seems you’ve turned into a girl!”
Not long after, I heard the young girl, who possessed a hint of the same dark aura as myself, softly utter this sentence.
Upon hearing the word ‘husband,’ my mind was struck with an unprecedented shock.
So, the girl named Xiao Yu was the ‘husband’ Qianhe had described?
After that, I watched the two intertwined figures, inhaled the lingering fragrance in the air, and listened to the moans of exquisite pleasure that reached my ears. Finally, I began to understand why Qianhe had so many regrets about her husband before she passed away.
‘So, a ‘husband’ is such a wonderful kind of human!’
Once the one referred to as ‘wife’ left the tree hollow, I looked at the ‘husband,’ who now seemed utterly harmless.
Because she was so defenseless, I gathered my courage and actively approached my husband.
I must admit, my husband’s scent was truly sweet. It turned out that the experience Qianhe spoke of was all true.
It was a soft, trembling sensation that cleared my mind and made my entire body shiver.
And I wonder if it was my imagination, but even though it was my first time meeting my husband,
My body instinctively knew how to tease her even more intensely.
However, constrained by her physical condition and the imminent return of the girl called ‘wife,’ I reluctantly had to stop.
Now, seeing the girl named ‘wife’ leave the tree hollow once more, leaving the soft, delicious husband alone,
Recalling that tingling sensation from earlier, I reappeared before her in the same manner as before.
But what was happening now?
Why had my usually soft husband suddenly become so strong?
‘Ugh! I’ve been caught?’
‘Her strength is immense; I can’t break free?’
‘??? Ugh!’
‘Hey, where are you putting your hand?’
‘Don’t tie my hands with your tail!’
‘Ugh! I’m sorry, can you let me go?’
‘Wait, why are you turning your head?!’
‘!!!!!!!’
‘No way, I have to escape!’
‘Ugh!’
‘Damn it, my wings and legs have no strength left.’
‘Wuwu!’
‘Qianhe, you lied! This ‘husband’ creature, while delicious, is definitely not right!!!’
