Chapter 47: A Letter, Perfectly Delivered

As Son Chae-i finished her introduction and went down from the stage, staff members quickly came up and set up props like chairs and lighting.

Once the stage setup was complete and they went to sit in their respective positions, the accompaniment for ‘A Letter’ began to play at the signal.

After a short prelude, Bae Jae-hyung’s first part began.

He listened with his eyes closed.

Following along while focusing as much as possible on the lyrics, he opened his eyes right before his part started, captured the emotion, and continued with the lyrics.

After his short part passed, the turn went to other members, but he had no regrets.

The ‘A Letter’ he had just sung felt like the best rendition he had ever done, and he was satisfied.

The moment the stage ended, thunderous cheers poured out.

Vocal Teams

Team 1. Did ‘Always’.

Main vocal Choi Seung-min, Code:Kids’ Hyun Young-woo were there.

Those two did well, but the remaining members were a bit disappointing.

So in the end, the overall result was disappointing.

Team 2. Did ‘Negativity’.

Felt like main vocal Lee Woo-rim, sub-vocal Kwak Jun-sung.

Both did f*cking well.

Both have such sophisticated vocals, they were a perfect match for the song.

Kang Eun-hyuk and Ha Jin-woo were also there.

Those two weren’t amazingly good, but stably did their parts, so the overall quality was excellent.

Personally, I’m predicting this team for 1st place.

Team 3. Did ‘Monday’.

Main vocal Lee Jun-han was just average, and I’m really sorry but the rest were way way too bad.

End.

Team 4. Did A Letter.

Main vocal Park Seo-hu, Sim Jae-seo, Code:Kids’ Nam Jin-wook, Hwang Sung-min were there.

Park Seo-hu did f*cking well.

No words needed.

But apparently Nam Jin-wook was originally the main vocal, so everyone was a bit puzzled.

However, the point of this team was Sim Jae-seo.

During July Snow, people criticized him for lacking charisma, but this time his facial expressions were f*cking good.

Of course, he sang well too.

His part was the smallest, but aside from the main vocal, he did the best.

Team 5. Did ‘You Go Your Way’.

Main vocal Lee Seung-han, well, he was just doing his usual thing, so of course he did well.

The rest were generally okay too, felt like a solid mid-tier performance?

Rap Teams

Team 1. Did ‘Love Story’.

Main rapper Oh Jung-min did average.

The rest did average too.

But it wasn’t an interesting stage.

Team 2. Did ‘I Say’.

Park Hyun-jin ripped the stage apart, and Joo-hoon stitched it back together.

Then main rapper Lee Chan-seo came out and tore the stage wide open again.

Lee Chan-seo is truly another level.

Team 3. Did ‘Alignment’.

Sorry, but it was a mess.

End.

Dance Teams

Team 1. Did ‘Junk’.

Main dancer Na Yoon-jae was okay, but the Chinese/Japanese members messed up -> messed up -> messed up, so it was ruined.

End.

Team 2. Did ‘All the winners’.

Main dancer Yeo Hyun-tae danced reeeeeeally f*cking well.

And he’s also reeeeeeeeally f*cking handsome.

If there were any Yeo Hyun-tae fans disappointed by July Snow, you can consider it all resolved this time.

Wakers’ Kim Woo-hyun, Choi Joon-yeop, Jo Do-hyung all did decently well. Good balance.

Team 3. Did ‘Don’t call me X’.

Main dancer Yoon Ji-heon, of course, danced well.

But the rest… no words needed lol.

Yoon Ji-heon and Na Woo-jae tried to grab them by the collar, but the rest felt like they were floundering in a swamp.

Team 4. Did ‘Anomaly’.

Main dancer Seo Jun-jae.
