Chapter 65: The Last Shining

Su Mu Zhe finally donned the long-prepared attire once more.

Olive green military uniform, draped in a black cloak, wearing a black top hat, a scabbard hanging at his waist, his white-gloved hand resting on it in readiness, black leather boots on his feet.

The only difference from standard Exterminator attire was the prominent badge on his chest, engraved in two rows: “Flash Group · Captain.”

Everything proceeded as usual.

“Phew, tonight, I’ll put an end to my days as an Exterminator.”

Evran nodded in satisfaction, a pair of small black wings unfolding behind her. Her feet slowly left the floor, and she cutely floated to Su Mu Zhe’s side.

“Exterminator… putting an end to it, huh.”

He had returned to his original form once again, stirring a sense of long-lost familiarity.

“Heh heh~ In Exterminator gear, you actually look the part.”

Evran craned her neck to gaze up at the tall, lean male high schooler beside her, a faint smile curling her lips.

Su Mu Zhe’s face had sharp, heroic angles, occasionally betraying a hint of youthful innocence, but his piercing eyes completely overshadowed it.

In the eyes of enemies, all they would see was the blazing fury burning within.

“Because I was originally a member of the Human Exterminator Corps’ Third Sequence Unit, Special Operations Group Flash Group.”

Donning his old battle garb once more, fighting as an Exterminator again—Su Mu Zhe’s heart stirred unexpectedly, his tone shifting with a newfound soldierly resolve.

It was just that the silver-white hair and crimson pupils clashed slightly with the black-and-green tones of the uniform.

Evran circled him like she was admiring her own artwork, then suddenly burst into a charming laugh:

“Haha, it’s like a handsome Bloodkin noble dressed in human Exterminator clothes.”

“Even after reverting, I’m still a Bloodkin?”

Su Mu Zhe merely glanced at Evran with his eyes, showing no further reaction.

“Of course. Your body already flows with my blood—that can’t be changed. But you still wield Bloodkin power, isn’t that for the best?”

Well, he’s handsome as a boy, but the little loli form is even cuter, Evran thought to herself.

“Whatever. As long as it gives me enough power to slaughter the enemy, there’s no issue.”

“Oh dear, I’ve heard that line somewhere before. Looks like you’ve steeled your resolve.”

Su Mu Zhe tugged at the brim of his black hat. Beneath it, his eyes gleamed like still water—a deep, profound lake that instilled awe in any who beheld it.

With a sharp whoosh,

Su Mu Zhe drew his blade from his waist in a flash, his cloak billowing dramatically. He kicked off the ground and shot out the window like lightning, leaping straight into the skies above the city.

Evran elegantly adjusted her skirt hem, flapping her small black wings, and followed closely behind Su Mu Zhe.

“I’ll stop him. Put an end to all this.”

“This is… the last Flash Spirit.”
