Join the ServerAbout half an hour later, Su Muxue slowly opened her eyes, still a bit drowsy. She rubbed her eyes. “What time is it? How long did I sleep?”
Luo Xiaoyun looked down at her phone. “Almost three o’clock. You slept exactly half an hour. Feeling better?”
Su Muxue sat up, rubbed her eyes again, then turned to Luo Xiaoyun. “I’m about ready. Go put on your performance outfit now. Come with me to the stage area later, so you don’t have to find a place to change there. It’ll also let you get familiar with the venue.”
Luo Xiaoyun blinked. “Why so early? The performance isn’t until tonight, right?”
Su Muxue reached out and gently tapped her nose, her eyes full of laughter. “Because I’m hosting the opening ceremony. I need to go early to rehearse, get familiar with the流程. Can’t make mistakes, can I?”
Luo Xiaoyun’s eyes lit up with understanding. She drew out a long “Oh…” as if she’d only just caught on. “So that’s it. I’ll go change now.”
“You get ready. I’ll go grab my hosting gown. I’ll be right back.” Su Muxue said, standing up and walking to the door. She turned back and reminded, “Don’t rush. Take your time changing. I’ll lock the door; no one will come in.” With that, she gently closed the door and left.
Luo Xiaoyun stood up and walked to the cabinet. She took out the bag with her cosplay outfit. She took a deep breath and closed her eyes.
Her silver-white short hair slowly lengthened, flowing like moonlight, cascading down to her waist.
She opened her eyes and looked at her long-haired self in the mirror. Her heartbeat quickened.
Just as she was about to change into her cosplay outfit, the office door gently pushed open. Su Muxue walked in holding a light purple gown.
It was a strapless style with a light skirt, embroidered with tiny pearls, delicate and grand.
Seeing Luo Xiaoyun already back in her long hair, a flash of admiration crossed her eyes, and the corners of her lips curved into a tender smile.
“You look better with long hair,” she said softly.
Luo Xiaoyun’s cheeks flushed. She lowered her head. “I, I haven’t changed yet…”
“Then get changed quickly.” Su Muxue set the gown aside and came over to help her take the clothes out of the bag.
Luo Xiaoyun took the clothes but hesitated and didn’t move.
Su Muxue looked at her shy demeanor and couldn’t help but laugh. “What, embarrassed?”
Luo Xiaoyun’s face turned even redder. She whispered, “You, turn around…”
“What’s there to be embarrassed about? I’ve seen you so many times. You’re not afraid of me seeing you now, are you?” Su Muxue raised an eyebrow, her tone gentle and teasing.
Luo Xiaoyun’s cheeks burned. She looked up at Su Muxue, her eyes full of shyness and worry. “But… what if someone comes in?”
Su Muxue looked at her flustered, embarrassed expression. Her heart melted. She stepped forward and gently took Luo Xiaoyun’s hand. Her voice was soft. “Don’t worry. The door’s locked. No one will come in.”
Luo Xiaoyun finally relaxed. She took a deep breath, slowly extended her fingers, and began to unbutton her shirt.
One.
Two.
Three.
Pale skin gradually exposed to the air, smooth and glowing faintly.
Su Muxue stood in front of her, watching her bashful look, her cheeks flushed, her eyes darting away, her fingertips trembling slightly.
The feelings inside her surged. She couldn’t help but take a step forward, reach out and grab her wrist, gently pressing her against the wall.
Luo Xiaoyun froze. She looked up at Su Muxue, who was so close, her eyes panicked. Before she could react, Su Muxue reached out, gently lifted her chin, and leaned in to kiss her.
Their soft lips touched, carrying a faint fragrance. Luo Xiaoyun’s mind went blank. She was rooted to the spot, even forgetting to breathe. She could only passively receive this kiss that was both gentle and somewhat commanding.
Just then —
The sound of a key turning came from outside the door.
“Strange. Why is Su Su’s office door locked?”
It was Shen Jiaojiao.
Luo Xiaoyun’s eyes shot open. She wanted to push Su Muxue away, but it was too late.
The door swung open.
Shen Jiaojiao stood at the entrance, a key ring in her hand, still muttering, “Good thing Su Su gave me a key, or I wouldn’t have gotten the docu–menta–tion–”
Her voice trailed off on the last syllable. She stood frozen, as if struck by a spell.
The scene before her was too shocking.
Su Muxue was pressing someone against the wall. They were very close. And the person being pinned down had most of the buttons on their shirt undone, revealing large patches of fair skin and the lace edge of a pink bra.
Shen Jiaojiao’s mind went blank.
She subconsciously looked at that person’s face — white hair, long to the waist.
That face… it looked like Luo Xiaoyun?
No, Luo Xiaoyun was a boy. How could it be a girl?
But this person’s face was clearly Luo Xiaoyun. And that pink bra was something only a girl would wear…
Shen Jiaojiao’s brain completely crashed.
“I, I went to the wrong place! I didn’t see anything!” She turned sharply and slammed the door shut. Her voice came from outside, clearly flustered and guilty. “Where was Su Su’s office again… I must have gotten lost…”
Inside the door, Su Muxue and Luo Xiaoyun looked at each other.
The air was so quiet you could hear each other’s breathing.
Luo Xiaoyun’s face was so red it seemed about to bleed. She was still in the position of being pressed against the wall, her shirt open. She was utterly embarrassed and ashamed, wishing she could crawl into a crack in the ground.
Su Muxue looked at her like this and finally couldn’t help but laugh.
“Stop laughing!” Luo Xiaoyun said, both shy and annoyed. She pushed her. “It’s all your fault! What do we do now!”
Su Muxue seized the opportunity to take her hand and bent down to kiss her forehead. Her voice was tinged with laughter. “It’s fine. She would have found out sooner or later.”
“But, but–” Luo Xiaoyun was incoherent. She looked down at her half-open shirt, where the lace of the pink bra was clearly visible. Her face turned even redder.
Su Muxue reached out and helped her close her shirt, her movements gentle and natural. “Okay, don’t be nervous. Jiao Jiao is not the type to gossip.”
Luo Xiaoyun bit her lip and said nothing.
Su Muxue cupped her face and made her look into her eyes. “Xiaoyun, you are a girl. So what if someone finds out?”
Luo Xiaoyun looked into her eyes. Her heartbeat slowly calmed down.
“Are you sure it’s okay?” she asked softly.
“I’m sure.” Su Muxue smiled. “Besides, you’ve already told Xu Xiangyang and the others, right? One more person doesn’t make a difference.”
Luo Xiaoyun thought about it. That did make sense. She was still a bit panicked inside, but at least she no longer wanted to find a crack in the ground.
The two helped each other change clothes.
Su Muxue came over and took her hand. “Let’s go.”
Luo Xiaoyun looked up at her. The light purple gown made her skin look like cream. Her hair was tied up, revealing her slender neck. She looked gentle and noble, like a figure stepping out of a painting.
“Do I look good?” Su Muxue asked.
Luo Xiaoyun nodded. “You look good,” she said softly.
Su Muxue smiled, tightened her grip on her hand, and pushed open the office door.
Outside, Shen Jiaojiao was pressed against the wall, pretending to look at her phone. When she heard the door open, she immediately stood up straight. Her eyes were darting around, and her cheeks still had a fading blush.
“Jiao Jiao.” Su Muxue called her.
“Here!” Shen Jiaojiao responded reflexively. Then, as if realizing she had overreacted, she shrunk her neck.
Su Muxue looked at her guilty demeanor and couldn’t help but laugh. “Come in and get your documents. The door’s not locked.”
Shen Jiaojiao took a peek at Luo Xiaoyun, who was standing behind Su Muxue. She seemed to want to say something, but in the end, she didn’t ask anything. She quickly slipped into the office, grabbed the documents, and quickly slipped out again.
