Join the ServerA heavy, dizzying sensation wrapped around Luo Xiaoyun’s consciousness like a tide, slowly pulling her up from deep sleep. Her whole body felt weak, her limbs drained of strength. Her mind was blank. She had no memory of what happened the night before.
She braced herself on the edge of the bed and sat up slowly. Her vision cleared. The familiar, faint scent of gardenia lingered in her nose. A soft, large bed, pale pink bedding, delicate ornaments on the nightstand. This wasn’t her room.
Luo Xiaoyun froze for a few seconds, then snapped fully awake.
This was Su Muxue’s room.
How did she end up sleeping in her senior’s bed?
Yesterday… what happened yesterday?
She frowned, trying to remember. Candlelit dinner, ice-blue cocktail… and then?
Then, nothing.
She rubbed her temples. She couldn’t recall anything.
Just then, the blanket slipped down.
A chill crept across her chest.
Luo Xiaoyun looked down.
She was completely bare.
Not a stitch of clothing.
The soft curves of her chest were fully exposed. Her pale skin glowed faintly in the dim light.
Her brain shut down.
“Ah, , !!!”
A scream shattered the morning quiet.
She scrambled to grab the blanket and wrapped herself up like a cocoon, leaving only her bright red face visible.
Where were her clothes? Why was she naked in Su Muxue’s bed? Could someone tell her what happened last night?
Her cry broke the room’s stillness. Beside her, the sleeping Su Muxue stirred, slowly opening her eyes. Her gaze was still drowsy. It landed on the tense, blushing Luo Xiaoyun. A gentle, teasing smile curved at the corners of her mouth.
Luo Xiaoyun turned her head and met Su Muxue’s eyes. She froze instantly, as if hit by a paralysis spell. Her cheeks burned so hot they might bleed. She even held her breath.
She gripped the blanket tightly, her body trembling slightly. Her eyes were full of embarrassment and panic. Why was her senior here? Had she seen?
Su Muxue was lying on her side next to her, propping her head up with one hand, looking at her with sleepy eyes.
She wore a loose pink spaghetti-strap nightgown that revealed a hint of her delicate collarbone. Her long hair scattered messily on the pillow, her cheeks flushed with a sleepy pink.
“Good morning.” Su Muxue’s voice was husky and soft from just waking.
Luo Xiaoyun shrank further into the blanket, leaving only her flustered eyes visible. Her voice trembled. “My… my clothes…”
Su Muxue didn’t answer. She sat up slowly, tilted her head, and looked at her. A gentle, sly smile crept onto her lips.
“We’re both girls,” she said softly, her tone teasing. “No need to be shy.”
Luo Xiaoyun’s entire body went rigid.
Her senior knew she was a girl.
She instinctively lifted her head and met Su Muxue’s gentle, smiling eyes. That gaze was as soft as ever, even carrying more unspoken feelings. But Luo Xiaoyun felt strange. Afraid.
What would she think? Would she feel deceived? Would she be angry? Would she… not want her anymore?
Seeing that she wasn’t speaking, Su Muxue leaned in with a smile, wanting to tease her.
But when she clearly saw Luo Xiaoyun’s face, she froze.
Those always sparkling eyes were red now. Tears gathered at the corners, glistening, yet stubbornly refusing to fall.
“Xiaoyun?” Su Muxue’s voice instantly softened, filled with concern. “What’s wrong?”
Luo Xiaoyun bit her lip and said nothing. She didn’t dare speak, afraid that if she did, the tears would break through. She just lowered her head, curled into a small ball, her shoulders trembling slightly.
Su Muxue’s heart clenched as if something had seized it.
She reached out, gently cupped Luo Xiaoyun’s face, and lifted her head. Those red-rimmed eyes met hers, full of unease, panic, and deep fear.
“Why are you crying?” Su Muxue’s voice was so soft, as if afraid to disturb something. “Did I scare you?”
Luo Xiaoyun couldn’t hold it in anymore.
Tears spilled over and rolled down her cheeks. She choked on sobs, her voice thick with a runny nose, both aggrieved and anxious. “Senior… I, I didn’t mean to lie to you… I just didn’t dare tell you I was a girl. I was afraid that once you knew, you wouldn’t like me anymore, wouldn’t want me…”
The more she spoke, the more wronged she felt, and the harder she cried.
Seeing her like this, Su Muxue’s heart melted.
She reached out and gently pulled Luo Xiaoyun into her arms, moving as if afraid of breaking her. Her voice was soft, filled with lingering tenderness. “Silly girl, how could I not want you?”
Luo Xiaoyun’s crying paused.
Su Muxue continued, her voice gentle, but each word landed on her heart. “I like you as a person. Whether you’re a boy or a girl, I’ve always liked you. What does gender have to do with it?”
She paused, her fingertips lightly combing through Luo Xiaoyun’s messy silver hair. “I always thought you were soft, not the ‘big tough guy’ you claimed to be. But I never blamed you. I was just curious why you kept avoiding me. Last night, when I learned the truth, I wasn’t angry. I just finally understood that the person I liked was such an adorable little girl.”
Luo Xiaoyun leaned against Su Muxue’s chest, listening to her gentle words, feeling her warm embrace. The anxiety and fear ebbed away like a receding tide. She sobbed softly and wrapped her arms tightly around Su Muxue’s waist, burying her face in her shoulder. Her tears soaked the pink nightgown.
“Senior… I’m sorry,” she said in a muffled voice. “For making you wait so long, for lying to you for so long…”
“Silly.” Su Muxue gently rubbed her hair. “No need to apologize. I know you were afraid of losing me. I understand.”
She pulled back a little, cupped Luo Xiaoyun’s face, and looked into her eyes seriously. “From now on, you don’t have to hide anymore. Just be yourself. The soft, cute Luo Xiaoyun, okay?”
Luo Xiaoyun’s eyes were red, but she nodded. Tears still marked her cheeks, but the corners of her mouth secretly lifted.
“Okay.”
Su Muxue smiled, reached out, and lightly tapped her nose. “Alright, no more crying. I’ll make breakfast for you.”
Luo Xiaoyun nodded and wiped her tears. Her eyes were still red, but now they held more peace and joy.
But Su Muxue sat on the edge of the bed, not getting up. She just looked at Luo Xiaoyun with a sly, half-smiling gaze.
Luo Xiaoyun was taken aback. Her cheeks flushed again. She urged, “Senior, please go out. I need to change clothes!”
Su Muxue couldn’t help but laugh. Instead of getting up, she leaned closer, her tone playful and triumphant.
“What’s the hurry? It’s not like I haven’t seen it before.”
Luo Xiaoyun’s face turned even redder.
Su Muxue continued, her smile deepening. “Yesterday I not only saw, but also touched. Great feel, by the way.”
As she spoke, she made a grabbing motion with her hands in the air.
Luo Xiaoyun suddenly understood. She recalled the weak feeling in her body… so that was it. Her face exploded into crimson, even her ears burned.
“Pe, pervert!” she cried, flustered and angry, her voice tinged with a coquettish scold. “Su Muxue, get out!”
Seeing her bristling like that, Su Muxue laughed even brighter. She stood up and walked to the door. At the door, she paused and turned back to look at the balled-up person on the bed, her eyes full of fondness.
“Alright, I’ll stop teasing you. I’m going to make breakfast.” She paused, her lips curving into a gentle smile. “Take your time changing. I won’t peek.”
The door closed softly.
Luo Xiaoyun let out a long breath and buried her face in the blanket. Her heart couldn’t calm down for a long while.
After a while, she threw off the blanket and stepped barefoot onto the floor. On the nightstand, a set of clean clothes was neatly folded. They were her own, probably prepared by Su Muxue.
She picked up the clothes and quickly put them on.
After washing up and walking out of the bedroom, the living room was already filled with the aroma of breakfast.
On the table were golden toast, runny-yolk eggs, warm milk, and cut fresh fruit.
Su Muxue was sitting at the table, chin resting on her hand, smiling at her.
Luo Xiaoyun walked over and sat down. She picked up a slice of toast and took small bites. Her cheeks still had a faint blush. She occasionally snuck a glance at Su Muxue, looking shy and well-behaved.
Su Muxue just watched her quietly. The more she looked, the more she adored her. Tenderness nearly overflowed from her eyes.
“Xiaoyun,” she suddenly said.
“Hmm?” Luo Xiaoyun looked up, her mouth still full of toast.
Su Muxue’s lips curled into a sly curve. “I have a small request.”
Luo Xiaoyun asked indistinctly, “What request?”
“I want to hear you call me ‘big sister’ in your real female voice.”
Luo Xiaoyun froze, and her cheeks instantly reddened again.
Su Muxue continued, her eyes full of anticipation. “If I remember correctly, your female voice is especially nice. One morning when I woke you up, you answered drowsily, so soft. I didn’t think much of it then, but now I realize that was your real voice.”
Luo Xiaoyun looked down and muttered, “No… no way… who would call you big sister…”
But her voice had returned to her original female tone. Soft and sweet.
Su Muxue was completely stunned.
She looked at the person before her. Silver-white short hair, flushed cheeks, bright eyes full of shyness and stubbornness. But that voice, it was so soft it made her heart tremble, so sweet she wanted to take a bite.
“Oh my…” Su Muxue clutched her chest, putting on an exaggerated, enchanted expression. “That voice is way too nice! Xiaoyun, what kind of treasure girl are you? Cute looks and a beautiful voice…”
Luo Xiaoyun’s face reddened even more from the compliments. She lowered her head and pretended to focus on her breakfast.
But Su Muxue wouldn’t let it go. She leaned in again. “Come on, call me ‘big sister’ once more.”
“No…”
“Just once, please.” Su Muxue started coaxing. “Just once.”
Luo Xiaoyun shook her head.
Su Muxue’s eyes darted, and a mischievous smirk curved her mouth. “If you don’t, I’ll make you experience last night’s feeling again.”
As soon as she said it, she reached out both hands toward Luo Xiaoyun’s waist.
Luo Xiaoyun was so startled she froze. She quickly tried to fight back. But she was naturally weaker than Su Muxue. In the face of absolute strength, within seconds she was pinned down, her hands held behind her back, unable to move.
Luo Xiaoyun panicked. Her cheeks were the color of blood. Afraid that Su Muxue might actually do something excessive, she quickly called out in a soft, coquettish voice:
“Big sister~”
That “big sister,” soft and sweet, full of coy teasing, struck Su Muxue’s heart instantly. Su Muxue smiled contentedly, released her hands, and ruffled her hair. Her tone was indulgent and triumphant. “That’s right, my little girlfriend.”
Luo Xiaoyun pouted, her cheeks still red, pretending to be displeased. Her voice carried a hint of willfulness.
“Little girlfriend… I’m your boyfriend!”
Su Muxue couldn’t help but laugh. She reached out and gently pinched Luo Xiaoyun’s cheek, her tone teasing.
“Look at you. So cute, so delicate, even your voice is so soft. You should be pressed under me and be my little girlfriend.”
Luo Xiaoyun lightly slapped her hand away and muttered, “Hmph, it’s not certain who’ll press whom under them.”
“Oh?” Su Muxue raised an eyebrow, a glint of mischief in her eyes. “Then I’ll be waiting.”
Luo Xiaoyun couldn’t win an argument with her. Flustered and annoyed, she lowered her head and continued eating breakfast, mumbling quietly.
“I’m not talking to you anymore… I still have a class later.”
Su Muxue smiled and stopped teasing. After Luo Xiaoyun finished eating, she said softly,
“Alright. Go to class then. When you come back, we’ll go shopping in the afternoon?”
Luo Xiaoyun looked up, her eyes lighting up. She nodded vigorously.
“Okay!”
After packing her textbooks, Luo Xiaoyun walked to the entrance to change shoes.
Su Muxue leaned against the door frame, quietly watching her.
“Take care on the road,” she said softly.
“I’m off then.”
“Mm. I’ll wait for you.”
