Chapter 26: Tackling Two Little Girls

Inside the bedroom, You waved her hand and shut the door. Only after hearing the sound of running water from the bathroom did she slowly begin unbuttoning her sleepwear and changing clothes.

Her pajamas slipped to the floor beside her small, bare feet, leaving her petite figure exposed to the air.

After changing, she paused for a moment, hesitating slightly. In the end, she crouched down and picked up the pure white underwear Bai Yuan had given her.

There was a small, cute bow on the front. It looked clean and unused.

Out of curiosity, she brought it closer and sniffed lightly—there was no smell at all, clearly unworn for quite some time.

Expression calm, she put it on.

“…Not very comfortable. Feels too restrictive.”

Standing before the mirror, she glanced at herself and muttered softly, clearly dissatisfied. It was her first time wearing something like this, and she already preferred going without.

On the bed lay a pair of white thigh-high socks and a small white undershirt, which made her frown slightly.

“That girl is already being affected by ‘whitening’… why does she still like wearing so much white?”

By now, Bai Yuan’s hair had completely turned white, and even one of her eyes had begun losing its color.

You couldn’t understand it.

Still, she changed into the white dress.

Soon, a small girl with purple hair wearing a pure white fitted dress stood before the mirror. Her expression was a bit awkward.

No matter how she looked at it, it didn’t suit her.

“Wow~ You looks really cute! Even simple clothes like this suit you so well!”

Bai Yuan returned from the bathroom, her eyes lighting up when she saw You wearing her clothes.

“It doesn’t suit me,” You replied honestly.

“Hmph! Be grateful you even have clothes to wear, shorty. Say thank you properly!”

Mo Xiao emerged from the ink world as a puff of black mist, clearly annoyed.

“You again… such a foul-mouthed spirit. Bai Yuan, you really should discipline her.”

You raised an eyebrow, her purple eyes briefly scanning Mo Xiao—but she couldn’t sense anything unusual.

“No looking! Keep staring and I’ll hit you! Look at you, all bruised again—so funny, haha!”

Mo Xiao mocked her openly.

“Mo Xiao, be nicer. She’s my friend,” Bai Yuan said, embarrassed.

“You little spirit, acting so arrogant—you’re asking for a beating.”

Even You couldn’t tolerate it anymore.

She pushed off the ground and lunged forward, fist raised.

“Like I’m scared of you! Come on!”

Mo Xiao formed a small dragon tail behind her, completely unfazed.

Bai Yuan sighed, holding her forehead as the two instantly started fighting again.

It was more like childish scuffling than a real fight—pulling cheeks, grabbing arms—no real harm, just noisy chaos.

She sat on the bed, resting her chin in her hands, watching them roll around. It was oddly… entertaining.

After a while, though, her face turned red.

Mo Xiao started playing dirty.

“Are you crazy?! Stop pulling my clothes—let go!”

You’s face flushed as she struggled, trying not to hurt Mo Xiao too badly.

But Mo Xiao kept acting shamelessly, messing around and refusing to stop.

“Alright, that’s enough! Stop fighting!”

Bai Yuan finally rushed over, cheeks burning, and pulled Mo Xiao away by the waist.

As Bai Yuan’s familiar scent reached her, Mo Xiao gradually calmed down and stopped resisting.

“You’re so annoying…”

You quickly got up, straightening her clothes and looking for tissues.

“Sorry… she doesn’t always listen to me. The tissues are on the desk,” Bai Yuan said apologetically.

Mo Xiao, however, wasn’t pleased. She twisted around in Bai Yuan’s arms, then suddenly pushed her down onto the bed.

“Hey—! What are you doing?!”

Startled, Bai Yuan tried to block her, flustered.

“Don’t mess around!”

“You’re a dragon-type spirit, right?” You said calmly after wiping her face. “This kind of behavior is… not unusual. Just help her calm down a bit and she’ll be fine.”

“Huh? What do you mean ‘calm down’?”

Bai Yuan looked completely confused.

She had read about dragon spirits before—but nothing like this.

Clenching her teeth, she realized she had no idea what to do.

After all, she only had theoretical knowledge… no real experience at all.
