Join the ServerIn the CG, Xiao Yueluo had been utterly wrecked.
Her belly was stretched huge by the slime, so swollen that the veins beneath her skin—and even the outlines of the water spirits writhing and churning inside her—were clearly visible.
Because of the excruciating pain, her eyes had rolled back, and her entire body was convulsing uncontrollably.
What made it even more despairing was that this was just one round.
When a batch of these creatures had exhausted their primordial qi inside her, they would die, turning into a pool of foul-smelling stagnant water.
Then, external spiritual energy would be used to compress her abdomen, forcing all that dead water out of her belly!
Once emptied, another device would be used to inject a fresh batch of live water spirits.
Over and over.
Round after round.
Until her spiritual roots were fully repaired.
Back when she was playing the game through a screen, Bai Yue had only thought those CGs were thrilling.
But now that she had transmigrated, she was no longer facing a string of cold data and a beautiful 2D image—but a living, breathing person of flesh and blood, who could feel pain and cry!
If she actually did something like that, Xiao Yueluo would absolutely be broken beyond repair!
Not to mention the psychological collapse—that kind of insane internal abuse would likely cause irreversible damage to the muscles inside her body.
What if, when she got old, she couldn’t even control her bowels anymore?
Then this female lead would be completely ruined.
Just imagining that scene sent a chill down Bai Yue’s spine.
So…
After much deliberation, she had to settle for the next best option.
She abandoned that perverted but efficient method, opting for something gentler—more time-consuming, slightly more wasteful—a foot soak.
By absorbing through the Yongquan acupoint on the soles of the feet and the meridians there, the absorption would be slower, and some primordial qi would dissipate into the air.
But it was safer and far less torturous.
Still, putting one’s feet into that stuff required considerable mental preparation.
Xiao Yueluo sat on the edge of the bed, hesitating as she stared at the writhing slime.
“What are you dawdling for?
Hurry up—this stuff loses activity the longer it’s away from living water.”
Bai Yue urged, walking over to a nearby chair and sitting down with her legs crossed.
Hearing Bai Yue’s prompt, Xiao Yueluo still felt creeped out by the tub of squirming slime.
But remembering that this was for restoring her spiritual roots, she gritted her teeth and obediently complied.
She fumbled to undo the shoe buckles.
Her shoes came off, revealing her feet wrapped in the black lace stockings.
Though the stockings were thin and translucent, they were still clothing—she couldn’t soak directly in the slime while wearing them.
They had to come off.
Her fingers touched the metal clasps connecting the stockings to the garter belt, and her cheeks burned again.
Taking these off in front of Bai Yue was worse than death.
But Bai Yue’s gaze was fixed on her without flinching.
Click.
A soft metallic sound echoed in the quiet room, piercingly loud.
The garter clasps were undone.
Xiao Yueluo took a deep breath, grasped the lace edges of the stockings, and slowly rolled them down.
The silky fabric slid down her thighs, past her knees and calves, finally slipping off her toes.
With that tantalizing black camouflage gone, Xiao Yueluo’s bare feet were fully exposed to the air.
Bai Yue’s gaze involuntarily drifted down.
Those feet were exquisite.
No excess flesh, perfectly proportioned, their lines flowing gracefully.
Her ankles were slender and delicate.
Her skin, protected by closed shoes for years, was so pale it was nearly translucent, with faint bluish veins visible beneath the surface.
The arch of her foot was high, like a slightly drawn bow, radiating a subtle tension.
At this moment, due to the owner’s extreme nervousness and shame, her ten rounded toes were unconsciously curling inward.
Her toenails bore a natural, healthy pale pink hue.
The soles of her feet flushed with a nervous pink as they pressed against the cool wooden floor, her toes shifting restlessly.
“What are you waiting for?”
Bai Yue withdrew her gaze, picked up the teacup on the table, and lowered her voice slightly.
Xiao Yueluo closed her eyes, as if making a final mental preparation, then lifted her right foot and slowly extended it toward the wooden tub.
The moment her toes touched the surface of the translucent slime—
“Hiss—”
Xiao Yueluo sharply inhaled.
The sensation was too strange.
Cold.
Slick.
Carrying a bizarre clinging suction.
The slime in the tub seemed to sense the warmth of living flesh.
Its slow, sluggish churning suddenly accelerated.
It surged upward of its own accord, climbing over her toes, the top of her foot, spreading upward until it had enveloped her entire ankle in the blink of an eye.
“They’re… they’re moving…”
Xiao Yueluo’s voice trembled, and she instinctively tried to pull her foot out.
“Don’t move!”
Bai Yue snapped sharply.
“Put the other foot in too.
Focus your mind and circulate your cultivation technique.”
Xiao Yueluo clenched her jaw, suppressing the hair-raising sensation, and plunged her other foot deep into the tub.
“Gurgle—squelch.”
With both feet fully submerged, the water spirits in the tub became more active than ever.
Large amounts of translucent slime churned and rubbed against her feet, producing thick, sticky, wet sounds.
They were like tiny, slick fish, sliding and rubbing against her skin.
Occasionally, globs of slime would squeeze between the gaps of her toes, squirming and pressing restlessly.
“Mn…”
An extreme tingling sensation shot from the soles of her feet straight to her scalp.
Xiao Yueluo couldn’t help it—a muffled, strained groan escaped her throat.
Then, an intensely pure, cool energy, like silken threads, began to seep into her body through the Yongquan acupoint on her soles and other orifices.
Her long-dried meridians, like cracked earth parched for rain, greedily absorbed this pure primordial qi.
Wherever it passed, the damaged, atrophied walls of her spiritual roots throbbed with a pinprick-like pain—but after the pain came an indescribable comfort and fullness.
It worked!
It actually worked!
Xiao Yueluo’s eyes snapped open, filled with ecstatic disbelief.
She could clearly feel that long-lost spiritual energy slowly nourishing her ruined foundation.
But with it came increasingly intense sensory stimulation.
As these creatures released their primordial qi, their bodies continually contracted and expanded.
The sensation of them repeatedly squeezing and pressing against her feet, combined with the stimulation at her spiritual roots, made Xiao Yueluo’s face flush so red it looked like it might bleed.
She bit her lower lip hard, gripping the bedsheet beneath her so tightly her nails dug into her palms.
She couldn’t make a sound.
She absolutely could not make those strange, embarrassing noises in front of that vicious woman!
Bai Yue leaned back in her chair, leisurely taking a sip of tea.
She watched the girl by the bed, who was enduring with all her might—her neck and collarbones flushed crimson—and listened to the constant “squelch, squelch” sounds from the tub.
A satisfied smile curled at the corner of her mouth.
“Hold on.
Don’t come out until the primordial qi in the tub is completely absorbed.”
