Chapter 38: The Unwilling Conception

“Again, give birth to another?!”

At these words, Xiamiya’s expression instantly shifted to one of panic.

Naturally, the ‘birth’ Youka spoke of was not the same as the procreation of ordinary beings.

For ordinary Calamity Demons, Youka could utilize her own body to temporarily open a passage to the Starfall Palace, summoning those monsters forth. However, when it came to high-tier beings like Star Gods, Youka found herself incapable of direct summoning.

To allow a Star God to descend upon the mortal realm, Xiamiya had to use her own power to help them forge a physical body.

This very process of body creation was what Xiamiya found most utterly unacceptable.

It involved using the Power of the Dark Abyss to condense a Star God’s egg within her own body.

Considering the location where the Star God’s egg would be nurtured, and the agony she would endure when it was finally extracted from her body—this process… seemed to bear no difference from actual childbirth.

To think that she, a pure maiden, would inexplicably have to give birth?

And to terrifying beings like Calamity Demons, no less?

How could Xiamiya possibly agree to such a thing?!

“No, no, no, no! Absolutely not! Never!”

Without a moment’s hesitation, the Demonic God shook her head like a rattle-drum, her rainbow-colored eyes filled with intense revulsion.

The pain of childbirth was undoubtedly one of Xiamiya’s primary reasons for resisting.

However, our Demonic God had an even more serious justification.

She had to find every possible means to limit the Starfall Palace’s expansion in the mortal realm.

After all, these creatures thought of nothing but destruction and slaughter, eager to butcher every living soul in the world at a moment’s notice. They were, in essence, true demons. To curb the desires of these lunatics, Xiamiya had offered the excuse that she needed time to recuperate and gather strength. Only after accumulating sufficient power would she reveal the truth to the human world.

Of course, for Xiamiya, revealing the truth was absolutely out of the question.

She merely intended to use this excuse to stall for as much time as possible. With this time, she could increase her Demonic God Rating, thereby enhancing her control over these Calamity Demons.

Given her limited abilities, Xiamiya believed the delay needed to be as long as humanly possible.

She needed to find legitimate ways to weaken the Starfall Palace’s power, and also restrict new Calamity Demons from descending from it.

Therefore, she absolutely refused to give birth!!!

“I won’t! I won’t! Absolutely not!”

Xiamiya seemed to transform into a broken record, incessantly repeating her objections.

At the same time, the Demonic God didn’t forget to offer an excuse for herself.

“I’ve finally gained so much soul power! I want to use it to properly enhance my own strength! I don’t want to use it to give birth to a Star God’s egg!”

Unfortunately, Youka’s expression remained entirely unmoved by Xiamiya’s words.

“Master, please do not be childish. Given your current physique, even if you absorb souls to enhance your strength, your Sacred Power will at most reach the Fourth Tier. It will still be no different from trash.”

“Hey! I know that, but do you have to be so blunt?!”

Xiamiya was well aware of her own physique, but hearing Youka state it so directly still left her feeling utterly stifled.

However, Xiamiya’s protest had no effect. Youka continued to speak.

“Master, you must understand that the hostility the entire world harbors towards the Starfall Palace and us Calamity Demons now far exceeds your imagination. Faced with such powerful enemies, your slight increase in strength is negligible. It is wiser to give birth to a more powerful Star God.”

“No, no, just no!”

“Master.”

“I said no! I don’t want to give birth right now!” Xiamiya reiterated.

Seeing that the pink-haired maiden had no intention of cooperating, Youka, for the first time, chose not to comply. Instead, she slowly approached Xiamiya.

“Forgive me, Master, but for your own safety and the successful completion of the trial, I cannot comply with your wishes this time.”

“Huh?! What do you mean?” Xiamiya asked nervously, gazing at the Doll-like Maiden standing before her.

Facing Xiamiya’s bewildered gaze, Youka offered no verbal explanation. Instead, she responded with immediate action.

In the next moment, before Xiamiya could even react, Youka suddenly reached out and firmly pressed Xiamiya’s hands onto the sofa.

“Huh?! Hey, Youka, you—!”

In a panic, Xiamiya struggled, her legs kicking incessantly and her hands desperately trying to break free from Youka’s grasp.

Alas, Youka was quicker. She sat directly on Xiamiya, effectively stopping her movements. Though Youka’s small hands appeared delicate, they contained an immeasurable, formidable strength. No matter how much Xiamiya struggled, she could not escape Youka’s hold.

“Youka!! I command you to stop!” Xiamiya cried out anxiously, seemingly having guessed the Doll-like Maiden’s intentions.

“Forgive me, Master.”

Strictly speaking, Xiamiya, with a Demonic God Rating of only forty points, did not possess strong binding power over Youka.

Most of the time, Youka chose to obey Xiamiya’s instructions primarily out of respect for Xiamiya as the Demonic God’s successor.

However, when faced with crucial decisions, Youka would undoubtedly choose the course of action most beneficial to the trial and the Starfall Palace.

For them at this stage, strengthening the combat capabilities of the Demonic God faction was of paramount importance.

And so, after ensuring Xiamiya could not move, Youka began her actions.

Her movements were mechanical and precise. She slowly lifted Xiamiya’s clothes, revealing her smooth abdomen. Then, Youka gradually raised her right hand, and a silver gem emitting an eerie glow was abruptly summoned forth—it was the ‘wedge’ linked to the Starfall Palace. Once this wedge fused with the Power of the Dark Abyss within Xiamiya’s body, it would gradually form a Star God’s egg capable of containing a Star God’s mighty soul.

Watching this scene, Xiamiya recalled her miserable state during the two previous times she had given birth to a Star God’s egg.

Her breathing grew ragged, and ripples of distress spread across her rainbow-colored eyes, her feelings of grievance laid bare.

It seemed as though, in the very next second, she might burst into tears.

Faced with such a master, Youka still had no intention of stopping. As she reached her hand towards the Demonic God’s abdomen, she whispered softly, “Master, please relax. You must learn to enjoy this process, to find pleasure and ecstasy in the pain. Many Palace Lords of the Starfall Palace throughout history have been quite addicted to this process.”

Though the content was rather absurd, Youka’s tone was utterly serious.

She was undoubtedly earnest, genuinely offering Xiamiya advice.

After all, Youka knew very well that as Xiamiya’s Demonic God Rating increased, the pain she would have to endure would become increasingly intense. If she couldn’t learn to enjoy the process, her sanity might very well crumble completely.

“So, Master, you must learn to enjoy the pain.”

Of course, Xiamiya, currently being forcefully held down by Youka, could not comprehend Youka’s good intentions.

“Damn it! That’s absurd! They get off on it because those predecessors were perverts! Only perverts would be addicted to something like this!” Xiamiya still managed to let out a hysterical complaint in the face of crisis.

Then, Xiamiya could only watch in despair as she was… once again impregnated by this accursed Doll-like Maiden.

Youka, you bastard.

Just you wait. Once my rating goes up, one day, I will definitely get my revenge!

You just wait!

The disheartened Demonic God thus jotted another entry into her mental notebook. Incidentally, about one hundred and twenty entries had already been recorded.

However, just as Xiamiya was on the verge of ‘conception,’ the grand hall doors were suddenly flung open by a white-haired maiden.

In the very next instant, the frantic Xianming burst into the hall.

“Demonic God! Demonic God! I have something urgent to report!”

At these words, Youka’s movements ceased abruptly, a chilling glint flashing in her silver eyes.

“Tch…”

In contrast to Youka, Xiamiya’s face instantly broke into a wide smile.

‘Wow! A savior!’
